Prince Judis escaped the claws of death.

But he had revenge on his mind and that's the reason he came out of hiding.

Nimata, The Hero. She was someone everyone put their beliefs in but behind closed doors she's a psycopath with a strange hobby of collecting monsters.

"A dragon you say, and if I help you what's in it for me?" She asked.

"I will let you capture the dragon and use it in your collection." He points out.

"What's the catch?" Nimata asked.

"I want the dragon to suffer for killing all my men." He answers.

Nimata smiles with a giddy expression, "it's a deal then." She says.

It's not her ogre demon, but who would turn down such an amazing deal?

"I'm glad you agreed. It's more like, I knew you couldn't turn it down." [Thanks to your personality, I can read you like a book] Prince Judis thought with a outward smile.

 

The Town Center of Belmeth

 

The ground begins to shake and the sky has darkened.

What looked like a teleportation portal as red as blood; appeared a few meters above the peoples head on top of a building.

"What's going on?" The sounds of the citizens panicking as two strange beings appeared from inside this portal.

"Look over there! There's somone on top of Sumertan Inn!" Someone points to get everyone elses attention.

"Oh my! What a huge crowd. Do you see this, Master?" The voice says with glee.

"I do and it looks like a new harvest for our Mistress to enjoy." The other being agrees.

The panicked crowd had no clue what was happening.

The beings on the roof top looked down below at the citizens, one with a malicious expression across her face.

"Good day little insects, I am Folia, a simple henchman and this here is my master the First Guardian." Folia introduces.

"A pleasure humans, I am Yumo." Yumo greets himself followed by a toothy smile.

"What is it?" Someone asks.

"It's a Demi-Wolf!" Someone shrieks.

"Someone call the guards!" Someone calls out.

"Oh dear, please do. The more the merrier. Since today will be a lucky day for a select few!" Folia says with happy clap.

More citizens began to gather in the center.

Even guards were among them.

"Look look, Master! Isn't it great, there are armed gaurds!" She says happily.

"What on Earth is going on here!?" A figure pushed through the crowd, a bunch of guards following behind.

The man wore light robes with expensive silks and fur, "this must be the Lord of this abode. Glad that you came on your own." Yumo says.

"Who are you demons? Why did you come to Belmeth?" The man asked.

"Nah ah, we will ask the questions here, human." Folia says flicking her finger from side to sid before placing it to her lips.

Below the supposed Lord clenched his fist, on could see his face turning beet red with anger.

"He's pissed. Hahaha, how scary." Folia snickers loudly.

A dagger went flying but was stopped in its tracks before falling to the flat roof.

"What's this? How rude!" Folia bends over and picks up the dagger to examine it.

Yumo sighs, "indeed, but unfortunately we should refrain from killing anyone." He says to Folia.

Folia pouts, "yes, that is unfortunate isn't it?" She asked tossing the dagger watching the sharp end land into the ground next to the Lord.

"Let us get to the point already. Among you humans we will choose Sixty lucky few to join us for a test. Isn't that great?" Folia asked with a smile.

The citizens began to burst with protests.

"Shut up!!!" Yumo's roar was like huge gust of wind that reached to the other side.

This was the work of a high leveled demon.

Below was real quiet and Folia could finish what she wanted to say.

"For our Mistress, sixty random humans will be selected. Haha, please enjoy!" Folia cries out with laughter.

The two could be see turning and going right back into the portal.

The portal disappears and so did the dark sky.

What was next, were the sounds of those panicking from realizing that someone they knew had suddenly disappeared.

"Not good! Looks like there's a huge crisis that needs to be sent to other kingdoms, asap." Lord Galiar says.

"Find those missing people, and someone look into this!" He yells before he himself went back to his manor.

 

 

Back at the Fortress

 

"Mistress it's done." Yumo says as he and Folia appeared in the throne room.

They were immediately introduced to two new faces.

"Good, meet the Fifth Floor Guardian, Veldian. And also the Sixth floor Guardain Sheltieer." Sir Delmore says waving over to the two new demons.

"Mistress, I brought some herb for more medicine creations." Til walks in after a long trip to collect herbs.

"Oh you've returned. Has there been any word from Islacc." the Mistress asked.

"Yeah, he finished setting up his domain in the mountains." Til answered.

The mistress nods before turning her attention back to Yumo and Folia.

"So, the new test has began." I sure do hope that these new guinea pigs will make it to at least the wastelands. By the way, has Baslisk been released?" She asked.

"Yes Mistress." Sir Roman answered.

"Good, next time she goes against my orders, kill her." the mistress tells him.

He bows his head, "as you wish, Mistress." He answers.
