Everything was dark

All I could hear was the sound of sirens.

What happened? I was driving home from work when everything suddenly went dark.

The sirens got louder and louder then it stopped near to where I was.

Beepbeepbeepbeep

Light

Beepbeepbeepbeep

A blinding light.

Beep beep beep

Why was it so bright?

Beepbeepbeepbeep

Talking I could hear people talking however I could not understand what they were saying.

Beep beep beep

I am on a bed? I can feel what feels like a bed.

Beep beep beep

What is that annoying beeping?

Beep beep beep

The people started to move around faster they started to sound like they are in a hurry.

Beep beep beep

What is happening?

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep

Darkness.

Once again I was in darkness.

Every direction darkness. I moved forward. How was I able to move forwards? wasn’t I just laying down? I continued to move forward further into the darkness.

I kept walking for what felt like hours still in darkness but, I felt that if I kept going I would find something at the end.

Darkness, darkness, darkness, darkness, darkness, darkness. No matter how long I walked for there is only darkness.

I walked and walked and walked for what could have been years with nothing changing until I felt a sudden surge of pain throughout my body as I fell to the ground.

My entire body was in the most pain I have ever felt. It’s like someone covered my body in thousands of needles that are constantly moving.

Then as suddenly as it came it stopped. It was gone.

I can’t get up the pain won't let me.

It could have been days or years but the pain finally left my body.

Standing up I look around it still only darkness. However this time something compelled me to continue walking into the darkness. Following this feeling I continued my march forward.

Light

There’s light. It looked to be far away, but as I got closer it got brighter.

As I got closer the light became unbearably bright, until I felt the world around me changing.
