Day-Time.

a day later, Sen wakes up from his bed early and left his room and quickly took a bath without taking off his bandages, he cleans up as he soon wore his school uniform, the bandages that covered his face still remained the same and still somehow managed to remain in its peak condition, he soon prepares his luggage and of course the two OLD LARGE DUFFEL BAGS that he had with him before, he soon took the new school shoulder bag that Vanessa, his new mother, (for now) bought him yesterday.

as he finishes taking his breakfast he still had a few hours before his new brother and sister wakes up, so he decides to make a custom mask to replace his OLD BLACK MASK while he goes to school.

his mask still had the same shape as his old one but was not made with the same material as his old one, the new plastic white mask was soon colored with red paint that formed into a 罪 Tsumi, which translates into Sin in Japanese.

now all he had to do was to form two or at least one hole which he can see through, he decides to make a hole on the right part of the mask where he uses and aims his guns with his right eye, once he finished carving out the eye hole, he soon carved a glass that would fit inside the hole to cover his right eye.

he soon paints the rest of the mask with other designs like a snake and a mantis to the right of the mask and a crow to the left.

to the right of the mask, the Snake represents the symbol of rebirth, Shrewdness, patience, intellect, fertility, longevity, vigilance, eternity, protection, rejuvenation, intuition, enigma, and splendor.

while the Mantis represent passive aggression, patience, and masculinity.

and to the left, the Crow symbolizes power, intelligence, creativity, courage, determination, flexibility, enchantment, broad-mindedness, playfulness, and mystery.

most of the representations of these creatures represent him in some way, thus he decides to paint these specific creatures on his temporary mask.

he then waited for the paint to dry and then after some time he decides to keep the new mask inside his third bag and soon cooked some hotdogs, beef loaf and some rice downstairs on the kitchen for his brother and sister while he waited for them to wake up.

as soon as the two woke up and washed themselves, they walked downstairs and sat next to the table while quickly Sen gave them the beef loaf, hotdogs and rice that he cooked for Ken and Tess and placed them on the table.

as soon as Ken and Tess finished eating, Nelson walks out of his room and went down to drink some coffee, Nelson quickly wore his coat and ate some cereal from the fridge as he went inside his car parked outside.

Sen washed the plates and utensils while Ken and Tess took their bags and prepared for school, after a few minutes Ken and Tess soon entered the car along with Sen while Vanessa waved them goodbye as Nelson drove to the school.

Nelson chuckled as he spoke to Sen who was sitting quietly in the back of the car while Ken and Tess slept quietly.

Nelson: nervous?

Sen: no... just cautious.

Nelson chuckled as the car halted on the traffic in front of them.

Nelson: cautious? about what? 

Sen: something... we are going to a field trip right?

Nelson: your worried about bears? you do have guns on those bags don't you?

Sen: bears have tough hide's and are hard to kill with their thick bones, and wolves are fast and mostly hunt in packs, bur they all have their own weaknesses, so they wont be much of a problem.

Nelson: the bullies then, you are worried about the bullies?

Sen: no... they are far easier to take down, I am not worried about them.

Nelson continued to drive as the traffic soon cleared.

Nelson: then what are you worried about then?

Sen: the unknown... maybe I will encounter something that I cant beat.

Nelson: your the most dangerous person in the planet as far as I know, you would probably wont even encounter any.

Sen: just because it wont happen doesn't mean that its not a possibility.

Nelson: sigh... you keep telling yourself that...

as the car got closer to its destination, Nelson soon woke up Ken and Tess as he park the car outside the school, both Ken and Tess soon got out the car along with Sen as they both waved goodbye while Nelson drove his car to his work.

 Tess, Ken and Sen soon went inside the school while students outside looked at the bandaged covered new student as he walks inside the school building along with old students.

as Sen, Tess and Ken approached the school they were greeted by their teacher, Lara, and they soon walked towards their classroom.

before Sen entered, he noticed a board hanging just above the door outside the classroom that said G10-C3, he decided to ignore it for a while but remembered and understood that it is the name of his classroom, he then entered after the rest has went inside and took their seats, Lara told him to stand next to her while she introduces him, Sen nodded as he was soon introduced to his classmates.

there weren't a lot of students inside the room, but only six students including Ken and Tess, currently present, but not including the twenty students that dropped out and the seven students currently sick, which makes thirty three in total.

 Lara soon began introducing Sen to the rest of the students.

Lara: ok class today we have a new student, we are short on time so we will keep the introductions short, his name is Sen, he is the older brother of Ken and Tess, he may be a bit shy so try to get along with him ok?

Lara soon arranged a few pieces of paper while a male student with yellow colored hair wearing a black shirt with a yellow and black jacket smirked as he looked at the towering new student, he stood up from his seat and walked towards Sen as he raised his hand for a handshake.

Kevin: yo! nice to meet you, so your the older brother of Tess, nice... lets get along.

Sen stayed silent as he accepted the handshake, Kevin gripped Sen's hand but carefully tried not to hurt him.

Kevin: damn your tough! I guess I should have expected no less to a person taller than me.

(Kevin was just two inches away from reaching Sen's height.)

Kevin soon looked at the male students, one with a cap with only a uniform and another with a bandana over his forehead, Kevin nods as they soon left their seats and approached Sen and introduced themselves.

the one with the bandana bowed while the one wearing a cap stood next to him.

Tou: it is a pleasure to meet you sir Sen, my name is Tou Kishimu, but you can call me Tou, and to my right is Nam Irami.

Nam: yo dude, cool bandages, and what's with those bags?

Sen looked towards Nam and replied.

Sen: none of your business.

Nam: woah dude, just asking.

Kevin smirked as he snaps his fingers.

Kevin: oh right! the name's Kevin King, and no, I'm not really a king, its just my family's middle name.

Lara interrupts them as she finished arranging her papers and kept it in her bag.

Lara: sorry kids but introductions will have to wait, please pack your things and proceed to the bus outside.

Kevin: damn, just about when the mood started to get good.

the students soon walked out the school along with other students who were from different classes, as Sen boarded the bus he took the fourth row of seats and sat near the window while placed his third bag on the floor below him, Kevin noticed this and sat next to him along with Tou and Ken.

Kevin looked at Sen's covered face as he looked at his bag and looked back at him.

Kevin: not trying to insult you or anything but... what's with those bandages?

Shize stared outside the window as the bus soon left the school along with other buses but on different destinations.

Sen: hmm... nothing.

Kevin: alright... so where are you from?

Sen stayed silent as he ignored Kevin while the bus soon left the city into the large highways that lead to the mountains.

Kevin: silent type huh... you don't meet a lot of those these days...

as the bus traveled through the empty road on the highway the Sen looks at the mountainside as animals below drank on the nearby river, Sen looks up to see birds flying in flocks and the beautiful blue skies but soon remembered little Cosmo.

he took out a phone from his pocket and silently called a butler inside his house, the phone rang as Sen patiently waited for one of his butlers or maids to pick up the phone and answered him.

a click noise was heard as a butler on the other end soon answered.

Butler: sir? what do you need?

Sen began his acting skills and responded, luckily he was not heard by the other students who were already fast asleep.

Sen: is Cosmo being fed?

Butler: oh of course sir! he is alive and well.

(Cosmo is actually a special type of breed of hedgehogs that live up to forty years, so we won't be seeing him die in this novel, he is even just two years old when we first saw him, so yay! Cosmo will live! hurray for Cosmo! the cute hedgehog!)

Sen sighed as he soon spoke to the butler before dropping the call.

Sen: good, make sure to keep it that way, keep him alive and keep him out of harm.

Butler: it will be done sir.

Sen: good, I'll be off then.

Butler: goodbye then sir.

Sen soon dropped the call as he returned his phone inside his pocket and returned to look out the window, while the bus kept driving Sen soon decided to take a nap, the sun slowly set as the moon will soon take its place.

the bus soon lost its power as smoke began to rise on the side and front of the bus which forced the bus driver to drive next to a forest on the side of the road, Lara soon woke up each student as she announced that they will be taking a break until the sun starts to rise.

Lara: alright class, we will be taking a long break for now but we will resume until daybreak so please keep you gadgets and take a rest for now while me and the bus driver check what went wrong.

while Lara and the bus driver checks the damages on the bus two wolves slowly approached them as drool slowly dripped from their mouths, Sen however noticed this but decided to stay still for now.

once the bus driver notices what was wrong with the bus he quickly gets his tools from his toolkit and starts repairing, hours passed by, and once he was finished, he returned the tools back inside his toolkit as he turns towards Lara.

Bus Driver: alright! its all finished ma'am, were ready to go by sunrise.

Lara: good job, I'll go tell the kids.

the bus driver along with Lara enters the bus as he rests at the drivers seat while Lara tells the students the good news. 

Lara: alright kids, good news, the engine's fixed and we will be able to depart by sunrise, please take out your blankets and lets rest for now.

Kevin and the rest nods as Sen kept watch at the wolves patrolling inside the forest, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

Ken and Tess prepares a medium sized tent outside while the rest drew sketches of their favorite characters, Sen looked out the window as the sun finally set and was soon replaced by the moon.

Night-Time.

Sen quickly took out a small dagger, as checks the forest from inside the bus.

once Ken and Tess finished making the tent Tess went inside the bus and walked up to Sen and asked him to join them in their little tent outside the bus.

Tess: hey Sen, wanna join us? we made a tent outside for us to sleep in.

Sen quickly hid the dagger as he turn to Tess and replied.

Sen: alright...

Kevin: yo! you forgot about us!

Sen turns around to see Kevin and his group walking up to him.

Kevin: you wont just leave us here wont you?

Tess: your free to join us if you want.

Kevin: nice! lets go!

Sen took all his bags with him and walked outside the bus along with Tess and the others, they then went inside the medium tent positioned not far away from them.

as they walked near the tent Sen noticed that the wolves that were deeper inside the forest were no longer there, he stops and checks his surroundings as he gripped the dagger hidden inside his uniform.

he then continued to walk towards the tent but remembered the danger, as he went inside Nam greeted him with some cold drinks and some ice cream shakes.

Nam: yo Sen! I got some ice cream shakes here, want some?

Nam handed over the ice cream shake over to Sen as he sips on his kola.

Sen: what are these?

Nam looked at Kevin and smirked as he laughed and looked back at Sen.

Nam: hahaha! where do you come from? the mountains!? hahaha! how come you never seen a ice cream shake before!?

Sen got a bit angry as he gripped the metal canister which caused it to bend and spill the ice cream shake inside.

it soon became dead silent but Sen soon understood that he was a bit hotheaded and decided to leave the tent to release some steam and get some fresh air.

as Sen left the tent while the group inside looked at Nam.

Kevin: damn bro... I think we hit a nerve.

Nam looked at the bent metal canister and sighed.

Nam: I think I messed up, I should go apologize.

Tess: I think you should just leave him be...

Kevin opened entrance to the tent and looked at Sen standing outside looking at the forest.

Kevin: hey Tess... what happened to your brother? he looks so depressed.

(Sen isn't depressed, he's just looking out for the wolves that will eat you.)

Tess: he's... well...

Tou: he's a tormented soul.

everyone looked at Tou as he soon explained his words.

Tou: my grandfather once told me that if you see a person, there's always a story behind each one...

Kevin sighs as Tess and Ken walked out the tent to see Sen fighting two black and white wolves.

 Tess: are you ok?

Ken: dude... you managed to beat nine wolves all on your own? cool...

Sen ignored both of them as he soon dragged the six dead wolves towards the forest and hid them inside bushes, he then returned to see the fox slowly walking towards him as it followed him towards Tess and Ken.

Sen then dragged the other three wolves towards the forest and once again beat the black wolf a few more times before returning towards Tess and Ken.

 Ken: dude I won't tell anyone about this, but what you did there was awesome.

Sen: sigh... lets rest up, I'm tired. 

Tess looks at the fox as it followed Sen.

Tess: is that your pet?

Sen looks at the fox and returns to look at Tess.

Sen: no... just a random fox that I saved.

Tess: still... it looks kind of cute though.

Sen: you keep it then.

Tess: yay! come here you!

Tess picks up the fox as she followed Sen into the tent with Ken.

as they went inside Nam looked at Sen and apologized for insulting him.

Nam: hey um... sorry about what happened before, I only meant it as a joke, I didn't mean to insult you.

Sen: I knew that, that's why I headed outside.

Nam and Kevin looked at each other before looking back at Sen.

Nam: what?

Sen: I need another one of those milkshakes.

Kevin: you know what a milkshake is but you don't know what a ice cram shake looks like?

Sen: no...

Nam: alright then... so were cool right?

Nam takes another canister of ice cream shake and hands it over to Sen.

Sen: I was a bit hot tempered, I am not used to jokes.

Nam: oh... so were cool then.

even back on earth he did not knew what that meant so he was a bit confused, he usually hears formal words and straightforward words from anybody he met back on earth.

Sen: cool?

Nam: oh... I mean, so I am forgiven then?

Sen: what is there to forgive?

Nam smiles at Sen as he drinks his kola.

Nam: so we are cool! yeah!

Sen: I need some rest...

Nam, and the rest celebrates while Sen quietly slept with his ears covered with headphones, hours soon passed by as Sen and the others soon slept along with the fox and waited till tomorrow.

Sen and the others soon woke up and kept their things as they prepared to continue on their field trip around the nation.
