Raja

a mutated beast that is born either on the 5th, 10th or 12th month, is a yearly phenomena where a monster or magical beast become way stronger than it should be and achieve a level of semi human intellectual.

Alfin theories stated that during this either of this 3  month, the free mana on the earth were at its peak and also at the same time at it most turmoil state, therefore as a mechanism to make it stable, all the mana will get absorbed into the monsters.

the excess mana cause a drastic evolution to the monster and the most obvious change is that they will become stronger and more intellectual, and every year one of the monster, as if chosen by nature itself will absorb more mana than usual, becoming way stronger and intellectual than the other and govern other monster that is also undergoing such changes. That monster is refer as Raja

A raja strength are nothing to laugh at, at least, they are twice as strong as their mutated species which are much more stronger than the unaffected species during those month, but what make raja more dreaded is their ability to command other monster beneath them, as if a commander giving an order to their army on battlefield.

While Raja is known to appear in the end month, any raja that manage to survive will die on any day on the end month, a fact that still Alfin can't theorise much, the best explanation she come up with is that the raja simply ran out of fuel

(but this "raja", now that i can examine it properly, only its core outer structure resemble that of a raja, but inside is still that of a regular monster)

Azumi dash straight to the raja  and try to stab it right into the raja neck, the raja swiftly respond by swinging it axe , which Azumi dodge gracefully upward and he send a chantless ice arrows toward the raja neck which only leave a scarth mark

(ohh, somehow I can feel that this raja is stronger than regular one but its also less intellectual, it only act by instinct, this should make it more easier)

"fire butterfly, mirage butterfly, go and dance around your prey" [Azumi]

as Azumi chant those spell, numerous red and silver butterflies made out of mana surround the raja orc, the raja in annoyance swing his axe in all directions but it was pointless as none of the butterflies was destroyed

"wind lullaby, bring forth your melody into this chaotic battlefield" [Azumi]

just as he finish chanting, a fairy like creature made out of his wind mana is created, making a sweet melodic sound

Azumi dash into the raja orc once again, swinging his keris multiple time and the raja in response block it

every time he is about to get hit, Azumi dash to his right, he repeated that process and run a full circle from the raja

the raja, learning Azumi simple pattern have manage to predict where he will land next thus quickly swing his axe on that direction, but to no avail, Azumi simply dodge or block it

the scene of red and silver butterfly floating around it, the sweet lullaby that is kept on repeatedly play by the fairy like creature  and the rhythmic dance of Azumi on this battlefield make the raja grew more and more anxious

the raja begin to throw random darkness ball in all directions, in response Alfin start chanting

"light, envelope us in your space, light dome" [Alfin]

a strong dome made out of light and space mana circle around those two causing all the darkness ball to lose it power. she also enchance it with both space and light magic circle made out of her mana

as this keep on happening, like a broken tape keep playing on the same thing again and again the raja finally show some sign

"ohh, that take longer than i thought" [Azumi]

the raja, as if having a terrible headache put both of his hand to his head and suddenly stop moving

what Azumi did was simply use an illusion technique, the fire butterflies is used to cause dilatation of blood vessel around the head causing less blood to go to brain as the pressure of dilated blood vessel is insufficient to supply blood to brain, and Alfin light dome also add on the process as the golden soothing light envelope around the raja, the main star however is Azumi mirage butterfly, fairy melody and his rhythmic movement, which when expose to period of time causes the  victim to fall under illusion, an illusion that this process keep on happening, infinitely

"finally you are trapped in my illusion, now then, have a sweet dreams" [Azumi]

walking toward the raja, Azumi enhance his keris with body enchantments, wind and light magic and in one grace swing, cut the raja neck effortlessly, causing the head to fall down afterward

then, Alfin run into his guard, worrying about him

"are you alright?"

a gentle smile is shown in Azumi face as he is happy that his master which he also consider as best friend worry about him

"I'm fine, don't worry and thanks for your concern" [Azumi]

just as he finish those sentence, the captain of the 1st knight squad come

"Princess Alfin, Azumi, just what is happening here?" [Captain]
