Today,
On poetry day.
I wrote nothing.
I created nothing of value
Instead. I purged so much.
Erased my thoughts and feelings
Leaving stark contrast.
Empty spaces.
Liminal spaces feel like home.
I can create beauty.
Make emotions and worlds,
Breathe life into characters and places
Just
Not today.
