Jack did not feel good, in fact, he felt like he had been folded, un-folded, then folded again. J: “Agh! My back is killing me!” “Also, where am I? I can’t see anything, and it’s a little damp…” Reaching around with his claws, Jack learns he doesn’t have much room to move them “It’s like I’m stuck in something…” “Oh yeah! I remember getting knocked out by a meteor, that really hurt…” “Maybe I’m trapped under some rubble?” reaching upwards, Jack slowly pushes on the rocky surface above him, finding it to not be that strong, but extremely heavy, Jack then proceeds to give it a good punch, crushing a hole through it and letting water flow into his rocky tomb, “Uh oh.” panicking slightly, Jack rapidly tears away more of the ceiling until he can escape into the open water “Oh wait, I can breathe underwater, right.”

Surrounding Jack is a vast underwater scenery, with a blue tinting all around, wavy corals stood up around him, with long eels with gaping maws circled them, hunting tiny multi-colored fishes with what seemed like gemstones embedded into their heads, and large crab-like creatures with four arms hunted the eels, snapping their heads off with clean strikes.

“This is definitely not the same place I was on just a moment ago…” in fact, now that he mentioned it, he felt that he was sinking much faster, no longer just floating around, and on top of that, he no longer had his flipper like appendage, instead the two blades had split from each other completely, allowing full control of them individually, but also making it much harder to propel himself, though he seemed to be more water-repellent then before…

Checking his status, he noticed he was now 41 meters, “If that’s just from my passive growth, I must’ve been out for a long time!” Tabbing over to progress and clicking life graph, he noticed the numbers have gone on for a long time, his starting barely occupying any horizontal distance, and anything after that is a line that is almost unnoticeably increasing upwards over the rest of the time “I can’t even read those number, there almost so tiny I can’t see them, and uh, frankly, I don’t know if I want to if the graph is anything to go by…” “I was out for a really long time…” A little stunned, he tabs over to Objectives, realizing that there is nothing there, he goes to ‘Claim Rewards’ and notices ‘Beginnings’ gives him a mutation point. “I’ll… I’ll worry about that later…”

Still in a state of shock, he looks for a place to think this all over, turning back to the rock, he decides to take it with him, “Who knows what this world has? It’s better to Just stay with something I know is safe.” While it is rather large, it is also mostly hollow, that said, Jack tilts the opening to the side and crawls into it, leaving his arms and head to hand out while he digs out a slanted hole to push it into, after which he covers it in a hill-like formation using the materials he excavated.

He then spends a good amount of time further hollowing out the rock with his claws while he thinks about his next move “I need to be ready for whatever this world throws at me, just from the creatures I’ve seen already, this is clearly a more cut-throat world. “Not to mention, since the water’s blue, it probably has a similar atmosphere to earth.” “Not sure how that helps me in anyway, but it’s still good to know… maybe.”

“In the meantime, I’m going to think a bit about what I should do, I never really needed to do that last time since everything was so weak, but if I’m as big as I am now, that means that those crabs could probably solo those alien guys as well.

Though a crabs’ natural armor might just be the perfect counter anyways, giant or not…”
