Tony started to become more and more familiar with the place, as it looked a lot like the hotel he had visited, and because the layout of the place was so intuitive, it made it even easier for him to understand.
While most of the players were looking around in awe, Tony who was already a little used to scenes like this, despite admitting that this virtual world was sometimes better than the hotel he visited in India, it didn't affect him that much. and he already had a more critical eye as he looked around, mostly looking for different details that these players missed.
Seeing some information boards, Tony saw that a little ahead there was a place that looked like the place where amusement parks normally had their stores, and he decided to go closer to see what was there.
Even though Tony had already experienced a lot, the creative design of these stores was really surprising.
The stores managed to give the player a very futuristic feel because of some holograms, which surprised Tony a lot, as although he could already use holograms to work in his workshop, the use of it was still very limited commercially. But seeing how Mojang had the freedom to use it in stores because everything was a game made him a little jealous.
As the theme of this lobby he chose was closer to nature, the holograms were not looking very futuristic, but projecting murals, tables or even promotional videos, only using the appearance of plants.
The best use of it he saw was a coffee shop, which surprisingly he knew, HyCoffe, which he had had a coffee at Hypixel!
But unlike HyCoffe on Hypixel, in this place the appearance of it was not square, as the graphics in that game were much better.
Through the large window of this store, Tony could see a large tree with white bark, while the branches extended to the ceiling, making the pink leaves of this tree project a very comfortable light for the eyes.
If this store started selling franchises, Tony was pretty sure StarBucks would have no chance of competing with that, especially as this store's price was so cheap. Since HyCoffe was not selling real food and drinks, but just the feeling of the player drinking it, the price was too low because of the lack of cost.
While at StarBucks a Tall Latte cost just over $3, at HyCoffe it cost just $0.3 a refill for 30 minutes.
While the player could taste delicious coffee, he would only spend the equivalent of 1/10 of a real coffee and would not have to worry about gaining calories, which only had advantages.
When the other players noticed this beautiful HyCoffe, they didn't think twice and ran in wanting to see the differences with the HyCoffe that they usually went to in Hypixel, since Minecraft's HyCoffe had special cookies that the player could pick the cocoa personally for the cooks to do, they figured that maybe in Fortnite this also had some such interesting particularity.
Seeing how fast the store was filling up with players approaching, Tony just walked away and started looking around again, as although the store looked interesting, it wasn't something that attracted Tony so much, who never spared money to try the food. tastiest in the world.
Looking around, Tony saw the other stores. Some stores sold common shirts for just a few cents, apparently that the player could put on his Skin, another thing that also didn't attract Tony very much, even with the different prints that didn't exist in Minecraft.
Next to the clothing store was also a skins shop, just like Minecraft, which surprised Tony slightly, as he remembered that these skins were quite distinct Minecraft accessories, as he had never seen anyone focus so much on different skins as This game.
Seeing some players with colorful names enter this store, Tony saw that these players were quite excited as they equipped a few different skins.
"Damn, I was planning to cancel my Minecraft VIP so I could try out the new stuff in Fortnite, but how am I supposed to cancel with these cool new skin templates!?" One of the players in the store had bright eyes as he looked at the covers on the mannequins, and from the other players' expressions, it seems that they shared the same thought.
The surprise, both for them and for the viewers in Tony's chat was very big, since they figured that even though Minecraft and Fortnite are Mojang games, that didn't mean that playing one game would benefit the other, since that wasn't the common.
But now they realized that their Minecraft VIP also brought the same benefits to Fortnite, which made these players very happy, feeling that the money they spent on the VIP had become even more valuable, bringing more benefits than they imagined. initially.
"Smart bastard…" Tony grumbled as he noticed the reaction of those players.
Like a genius, Tony clearly saw what Notch was doing. By offering the same benefit that players already had, only in another game, it made it seem like he was very generous and valued their money a lot, as he could simply charge separately for the two games and the players would accept it as normal. . Since in fact, although this limited the total amount of subscribers, it improved the impression that players had of the company, which made players even more likely to buy VIPs from him, as this seemed to be very valuable for being able to be used in other games.
While Notch probably did this thinking it would be more profitable in the long run, it was also really good for the players, making a win-win situation quite beneficial for both of them.
'Deals are only signed when both sides are satisfied with what they will receive… apparently Notch understands this human nature very well.' Tony thought as he let out a small chuckle upon seeing this.
Despite prices being as low as $0.30 for a coffee, the thought that HyCoffe sold hundreds of thousands of coffees a day at no cost would make any good businessman's eyes light up, which further established Tony's recognition for Notch, thinking it might be interesting to meet Notch in person in the real world, despite how difficult it is to contact this mysterious man.
Thinking about the public image contrast that Mojang had with other game companies, both in terms of the quality of the games being several years ahead, as well as the company's monetization strategy, where players only needed to pay 1/3 of the price of a game normal to play Minecraft and they would have full access to it, just with an optional $8 monthly fee to buy a VIP that gave benefits in more than one game at the same time, the difference for Tony was stark.
As Tony hadn't played Minecraft for a long time, he had no interest in this skin, let alone VIP, so he just shook his head thinking about the players in this store and walked away while looking at the other stores around.
The other stores were also interesting, with some stores selling some different styles of backpacks or even pickaxes than the standard one he used in the tournament, but seeing that these things had very basic details, Tony was finally a little disappointed with Fortnite, as he imagined that putting some more creative backpacks and pickaxes would attract more players to buy, little he knew about the real Skins.
His interest was getting a little low when he saw these cheap and a little simple things stores, so he started walking a little faster until he saw something that attracted a lot of attention from him.
With the design quite different from the other stores, Tony was surprised by the size of the store that was at the end of the street, but what surprised him even more was not the size of it compared to the other stores, but what this store sold!
Since he left the apartment, Tony and the other players were just walking, as things weren't that far away, but looking down the street, Tony started to consider if there were things farther away, or even if it was possible to walk from one Lobby to the other, but thinking how tiring that would be he just shook his head and dismissed the idea, but seeing the car shop at the end of the street he felt his blood pumping.
Tony has always been a big fan of cars, so all sorts of different cars have always caught his interest. Until he approached the store and was quite disappointed, as apparently there was only one car model in that store, just with different colors.
Thinking about turning around to leave, Tony saw that there was already a player inside the store, but seeing what the player was doing with the car made Tony even more surprised.
This player was controlling a floating blue screen, which with each button he pressed the car immediately changed its appearance. Gradually that car that looked so generic before was now getting a very unique appearance, with changed bumpers, custom paint and even some different stickers.
The amount of things that could be changed on this car weren't that great, apparently being just a recent version that Mojang may have added for testing, but that was enough for Tony to have his eyes shining and enter the store to also customize His car.
Seeing how interesting this sales model was, Tony walked into the store as viewers on his livestream commented.
[I found these cars very ugly.]
[Ugly? Didn't you see how beautiful that other player's car turned out? I think the simple look like this is only for those who don't have money, just like buying a Porsche you can spend only $200,000 or put all the options and spend $400,000 on the same car, maybe these Fortnite cars also have a way to upgrade to he looks beautiful.]
This comment made several players agree, until a doubt arose.
[How much will this car be?]
[Basic should be around $500, while more expensive might be $5,000, who knows?]
[I've had a driver's license for over 4 years and I've never been able to buy myself a car, will I be able to get a car in Fortnite?]
Tony was also curious about the price of this car and asked a shop attendant, who was apparently an NPC with more basic artificial intelligence. "How much does a car like that cost?"
The NPC, who had the appearance of a handsome 30-year-old man dressed in an impeccable white dress shirt, replied with a polite smile. "Sir [TonyS], our cars are sold at a price of $20, while the customization of the car has different prices on parts, the most basic being free and the most expensive ones being able to reach $1 each, of course, this is purely aesthetic, the Car power changes cannot be purchased with real money."
[Woah, is this so cheap? With just $20 you can have a custom car?! This is awesome, so I can teach my girlfriend how to drive without her wrecking my real car!]
[LMAO]
"Just cosmetic changes?" Tony asked a little surprised. "And the potency changes, how can I buy that?"
The attendant kept smiling at Tony and replied while pointing to a poster made by a hologram next to them as he said. "To get the car's power parts, you'll need to play the next game developed by Mojang, of course, when you buy this car in our store, it can be used both here and in the new game, and this car is also considered the purchase of the game, that is, whoever has the car, at the launch of the game will be able to drive it into the world of the next game."
On the poster there was a picture of a silver BMW M3 GTR with some blue lines equipped with many customization parts, making this car even more beautiful than it originally was, and above the BMW there was a phrase.
[Need for Speed: Coming Soon]
(NunuNote: I gave up using V-Bucks as Fortnite's currency as it would be too difficult for me to control the price of every single thing in the game, having to keep calculating dollars for V-Bucks and converting non-stop, so the currency of Fortnite will be the local currency of each player, just like in Minecraft.)

'Deals are only signed when both sides are satisfied with what they will receive… apparently Notch understands this human nature very well.' Tony thought as he let out a small chuckle upon seeing this.
it’s interesting since from their pov, Notch isn’t human so they’re surprised when they see him use basic human psychology
I like the idea of Need For Speed. My guess though, was Grand Theft Auto; or, some large multi conglomerate of a vehicle simulator. Learn to drive, fly, or sail in the simulator game. Maybe even operate a shuttle craft in space or something… not to mention various construction vehicles, or submarines.
Oh yeah, I also want a space game to be included. Like EVE online, or No Man's Sky. Could even have a Star Wars game, or Star Trek game done Real. Star Citizen? Really… I think Space Games are awesome, and there are so many out there, I feel that it would be a waste to not have at least one.
I also think about kid games, like Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, Mario Kart Racing, or Super Mario World. In fact, you could probably squish together various game characters like Super Smash Bros did, and make up something like a Wreck-it Ralph scenario. A Disney World or theme park of various games designed for young adults.
Above it all… I'm really curious what "The Hub" is going to be like. Sim City? The Matrix? Of course… everyone should have their own Home space, but I still wonder where and how everything is going to link up? The players could start inside their own personalized Home space, then head to The Hub, and from there to any game world of their choice. It all just seems so cool to imagine.
I also wonder how strategy games normally played in the 3rd person perspective would work? For example: Civilization 6, StarCraft, Warhammer, or Stellaris. Maybe you could sit the player at an in-game central location, and then provide them with a holographic overview? Or maybe combine that overview with a local characters perspective? Basically, the Player could choose to see through their units eyes. I dunno… I really like first person games, especially if you could virtually exist there; but a massive 3rd person game, where you can control a lot of units, would be fun too. I just wonder how it would be implemented…
Anyways, Thanks for Sharing!
—Edit: Oh, I just had an idea. What about a Gods' eye view, for those 3rd person many unit games? Like, make the players a ghost, where they can look like whatever they want, and see things from any perspective within their per-view; but they also can't interact with anything outside of modifiable thought/voice/movement/button commands. They would become an invisible god like leader, with almost any perspective they desire. Perhaps include a mini-map function inside of their command scheme, just in case their current perspective is too limited. Also, there should probably be an AI strategy advisor or something, that the player can both visit in game and/or video chat with, to aid them in their campaign. Just a thought…—
Same with commander conquer type as well might be same but I haven’t played any of those if not your idea maybe the are on invisibility drone platforms and they move them around and then can. Get close upas well by hopping of and walking around there build if it a world then why not have that ability just give them multiple drone over each base troops and have the quick swap be teleporting between them and have mini map stuff be a holo watch kind of item so the map appears on it and the warnings Hell with this tech he probably could have them giving real orders and the ability to order individual people units not just squads at lest most officers or leader would join for training with out real people dieing as they mess up when learning and if have a prize for most effective use of units and less loses and most damage stuff could have them training with out seeing people as unitys when used in real world because that would be a problem if they got use to sacrificing unitys to achieve goal

The best one of course, 'Nunu's Need for Speed!'
the difference for Tony was stark.
LOL
When I think of that car I think most wanted 2005. Please let me be right.
