The day after the birth of the party Memories Bloom.

"I'm so happy ! It will be our first quest together... What should I wear... I want to have a matching accessory... or an hairpin enchanted with some magic resist ? A cute ornament on our weapons ? Hmmm... An uniform with the colors of our party ? Hum.. it's so hard..." 

After a lot of struggle Alice finally made her choice and went as fast as possible to the guild to meet Yuna.  Strangely the number of adventurer in the tavern was very small today and the high-ranked adventurer was nowhere to be seen. 

"Wait, if I remember correctly I haven't see any citizen in the street too... Something is  wrong."

When she was trying to figure it out a voice call her from behind.

"Alice !"

"Hmm ? Iris ?"

"I finally caught up with you... Hurry Alice go to the ⌈ Vitae Plains ⌋  ! "

"Did something happen ?"

"Yes we got a really big problem, an floor boss has spawned there ! The other adventurers will brief you when you will be there. Now go !"

  "An floor boss ?! How can this be ? The barrier around the city is still on, right ?"

"Yes the barrier is still on. We don’t know how is possible too. We are still investigating this case. "

"Tch… Alright, I will go now. Make sure to find the issue before I come back Iris !"

In rush, Alice turned herself into a bat then flies away. During her flight the smell of blood was filling the air and the cry of the fallen was resonating. When she was finally able to see the plain, the previously greenish ⌈ Vitae Plains⌋  was nowhere to be seen. In this area, corpse, body parts and broken weapons was scattered everywhere. At this sight she flew faster. A few meters away the same scenery was showing. The vision of this war zone was horrifying.

But it was just the beginning, something even more horrific appears on her sight.  It was the boss floor, his wolf-like shape, the blood dripping from the corner of his mouth and the flesh of the unlucky one that was still dangling, added with the scarlet color on his claws and with the astronomical number of decapitated corpse under his paws you can easily tell how dangerous he is. Surprisingly, the other adventurers wasn't losing hope. Underneath, an uncountable number of adventurers was fighting at their fullest thanks to the lead of an brillant improvisional leader.

From afar Alice was able to see a little tail swinging in the air. 

She thought,  "Wait... I already saw this fur somewhere... Silver and white ? Hum…Wait !  Yuna ? What are she doing in the frontline as an archer ?"

At the same time a roar resonate. The  eyes full of hatred of this infamous monster shone intensely. This was the annoncement of the greatest spell that he had used till the begining of this raid. 

At this moment the temperature around the boss rose insanely, a tornado of flame appear around him. The floor was melting under his paws. 

"Everyone ! Fall back hurry !"

But at this distance no one heard the despair shout of Alice. When the flame tornado cease Alice was expecting to see a pile of ashes but at her surprise everyone was in one piece surrounded by a sort of red aura.

" A red cloak ? Wait, I remember now ! This is it, the ⌈ Fire Resistance Powder⌋  the outcome  from a failed fire resistance enchantement. So she poured some powder beforehand how smart... It's why she turn me on so badly... When will you see me as a potential partner Moritoma Yuna ! I hate you ! You are so heartless Yuna ! I knew it you like to bully me and tease me with everything you got without taking action huh ! "

The ⌈Sanguinar Wolf⌋ rush forward with his claws open ready to cut through a lone adventurer away from his party. Facing this horrifying blow, the adventurer shudder. But like a miracle shot, an arrow flew towards the boss and stop his momentum. 

⌈Elemental Shot !⌋

"Th.. thanks you Commander !"

"Stay in formation next time !"

"Yes, Commander !"

Unbalanced, by the power of this arrow the ⌈Sanguinar Wolf⌋ fell on his flank letting his stomach free to any blow.

"It's our turn  now ! Unleash everything you got !"

""Yes, Commander !""

⌈ Vorpal Strike !⌋

⌈Vital Strike !⌋

⌈Shield Slam !⌋

⌈Great Cross Slash !⌋

At this moment the scream of the monster become even more fierce and strident.

"Nice one guys ! Keep going !"

Swiftly, the floor boss get up instantly and cover his stomach as fast as he could. The previous strike of Yuna’s team make him bleed profusely. Without giving up the ⌈Sanguinar Wolf⌋ rise his claws once more.

"Back off everyone ! We need to distance him !"

""Yes !""

 But this time, he manage to cut down a fews adventurers on the backline and kill them instantly. 

Yuna says to herself, "Tch… It’s no use he is faster than us. I need to do something right now !"

Before shouting her next order while running, "Guys ! At this rate everyone will die before the arrival of our back-up. With so fews of us our fate is sealed. You need to run away, now. I will handle him myself ! " at this moment a guy with an hoodie and a long coat run next to her and ask, "Are you sure ?"

Reconizing this voice she confirm,"Hans ?"

"Yes it's me but anyways. Do you really think that you can do it until the arrival of our reinforcement ?"

"Yes. I’m pretty sure that I can stall him for at least the arrival of the other. "

"Then, good luck Yuna !"

At the same time, the Floor Boss was now close enough to slice both of them. But without too much difficulty, Yuna and Hans dodge his strike by jumping in the opposite direction of his hit. Her movements was smooth and unpredictable. 

Like a predator hunting his prey, Yuna gaze became as cold as the ice. Nothing around, was able to distract her. She was only focus on her objective: Stall this monster as much as possible.

In this state of absolute focus, Yuna’s personality get entirely shift to a new one. And now, because of this new personality, the bloodlust hidden in her was now no more suppressed. Freed from the chains, her aura was going wild. Her surrounding was also able to feel all of her bloodlust, even for a well-seasoned adventurer this feelings was unbearable. The fear that Yuna brings to them was indescribable.

"⌈ Anatomy Vision ⌋ ."

⌈ ⌈ Anatomy Vision ⌋  has been activated. Now the user will be able to see any weakspot of her target. ⌋

Without hesitation, Yuna brandish her shortsword before rushing and aiming for the already wounded stomach of this monster to deepen the wound. Unfortunately, Yuna failed. The wolf see-through her intention and dodge it. Without giving up and with the help of the momentum she got, Yuna attempt this time to slice in reverse-grip the left hind legs, but fail once more. Seeing this opportunity, the ⌈Sanguinar Wolf⌋  try to slice her before resuming his chase. Skillfully, Yuna dodge it before distancing herself from the boss while taking out her bow. The pressure in this fight was really high, one mischap and it will be the end of her adventure. If she lose here, then Eastfox will fall and every sacrifice made this far will become useless. The game of the mouse and the cat last for a really long time, chase after chase, Yuna was about to reach her limit. Even with this, the boss wasn't even paying attention to her and was still chasing the other until this moment.

"Eat this ! ⌈ Mystical Shot⌋ ! " at the end of thoses words a bright blue arrow with a hint white at the tip got fired. This was the second stronger spell that she can use.

The arrow was perfectly aim toward the lungs but wasn't enough to kill the boss. But she manage to make the wolf to finally see her as a real threat. Now, because of this, the floor boss was only focused on Yuna.

She says, "So, you finally decide to not ignore me..." before breathing out due to the exhaustion

With a roar, the wolf rush with his mouth in her direction before she can celebrate her success. Seeing this, Yuna try to move away without succeeding.

"Move,move... move ! Why I can't move ? Is it the backfire of my spell ? Darn it !"

Every second that passes, the wolf's mouth was getting closer and closer ready to rip off her arm. This moment seems like an eternity for her. Thankfully, when the floor boss was about to hit, a familliar figure show herself with an scythe made of blood in her hands. Before saying jokingly, "Oi, are you trying to steal my popularity Yuna ? " while parrying effortlessly his multiple tries to bite Yuna.

Hearing Alice's voice she feel relieve and an extreme joy engulfed her heart.

"Alice ! You are finally here !"

While grinning Alice says,"Yes, I am here to help you !"

"I am grateful to you... I was about to reach my limits... Keeping up with this pace is so exhausting..."

"Don't sweat it, we are partner right ? So, let's end this quickly Yuna ! When everything will be settle down the two of us will have a looonnng and nice chat in my room…"

"Can I ask you something ?"

"Go ahead."

"You don't plan to force me to do something I don't consent after the fight right ?"

She gracefully dodge the question.

"Right ?!"

Annoyed by them, the wolf rise once more his claw and try to slice the two girl who was happingly chatting with each other. But fail his attemps. He try to slice on the left, the right, from the front, from above but nothing hit them. Both of them was already skilled individually but in team nobody was strong enough to kill them. The weak point of one was compensate by the other, added with a perfect coordination, the flow of the fight turn in no time in theirs favors.

"He will comes from above I will repel it with my spell ! Then Alice take this opportunity to land a clean hit ! ⌈Elemental Shot,  Sparklings⌋  !"

"Got it !"

When the boss was about to land, the shot push him a fews metters away. With a dash, scythe in her hand, Alice chase after him before he touch the ground. Mercilessly, her scythe fell upon his right shoulder follow up by two other arrows perfectly aimed. When he finally touch the ground a trap get triggered. This explosive trap was beforehand set by Yuna's skill ⌈ Trap Creation⌋ and was enough to seriously injure the ⌈Sanguinar Wolf⌋ and push him on his flank in is own blood not able to do anything. This war was now about to end.

"This is the last push Alice ! End his life with you stronger spell !"

"Then, ⌈Blood Creation: Blood Oblivion Orb⌋."

"⌈Will-o-Wisp⌋."

When the casting of the ⌈Blood Oblivion Orb⌋ was over, every drop of blood was getting sucked in the center of the orb before releasing the blood accumlated. With only the two of them, the ⌈Sanguinar Wolf⌋ was rapidly losing his HP.
