Everyone is in class and Emilia raises her hand.
Emilia:"Mr. Roswaal, is it true that we're having a school festival soon?"
Tanya:"A school festival?"
Kanna gets excited.
Kanna:"Yeah!"
Kobayashi:"Please no."
Smaug:"As the most powerful person here. I'm going to win."
Dave:"What if it's a group thing?"
Smaug:"I'm still going to win."
RoswaaL:"Oh, I didn't teeeeell you?"
Ilulu:"Not at all."
Tanya:"So, when is it?"
Roswaal:"Next week."
Kazuma quickly stands up.
Kazuma:"That's really soon!"
Ains:"So, do we have to do something?"
Roswaal:"Correeeect! And if you can make it a successssss..."
Ains:We might possibly, perchance, mayhap, be able to go home."
Smaug slams his hands down on his desk.
Smaug:"We are gonna win! I'm gonna make sure of it!"
Dave:"Yeah!"
Roswaal:"I believe that you'll make the school festival a big successsss!"
Aqua:"It sounds like fun! A lot more fun than field day, anyway! We can eat a lot of yummy food at the stalls, too."
Visha's eyes widen and she stands up.
Visha:"Chocolate banana!"
Violet:"I like that."
Smaug starts to drool.
Smaug:"Meat."
Demiurge raises his hand.
Demiurge:"So, sir, what will we be doing at the festival as a class?"
Roswaal:"Well, you have two things you'll be doing... One, a food stall!"
Visha:"Chocolate banana!"
Violet:"I want a chocolate banana."
Smaug:"Mmmmmm."
Roswaal:"And the other is a play!"
Tohru and Kanna get excited.
Tohru/Kanna:"A play!"
Kobayashi:"Oh, no."
Roswaal:"Class 1 is doing The Ugly Duckling, they saaaay."
Smaug:"I don't want to do a play."
Dave:"It sounds fun."
Smaug's tail stretches over to him and wacks him on the head.
Smaug:"Shut."
Roswaal:"While we're on the subject, why don't we decide what we'll be selling at our food stall, and what we'll be doing in our plaaaaaay!"
Later.
Smaug is helping build something. He's up high.
Dave:"Smaug!"
Smaug jumps in panic and falls over.
Dave screams and puts up his hands and they glow white but Smaug hits the ground.
Dave:"Sorry, Smaug. I can never seem to freeze you."
Smaug sits up and rubs his head.
Smaug:"I'm just more powerful than you."
Dave pouts.
Dave:"I'm gonna get stronger than you one day!"
Smaug gets up and wipes off his clothes.
Smaug:"I Doubt it. Even if you became a god, you'll still never pass me."
Smaug climbs back up the beam and keeps hammering.
Dave:"I'll become a god one day and challenge you to a fight and finally win!"
Later.
Subaru, Emilia, Puck and Rem are staring at the broken arch.
Subaru:"What is this?"
Puck:"It's a mess."
Emilia:"This is awful, what is this?"
Subaru:"No idea..."
Aqua:"Hey, what's wrong, everyone?"
Aqua, Kazuma, Dave and Smaug, who looks like he hasn't slept in a week, walk over to the group.
Aqua:"Are you in awe of our grand creation?"
Aqua sees the condition and screams. Dave comes over and screams, too.
Aqua:"We spent hours on that arch!"
Dave:"And I painted it!"
Kazuma:"Looks like something big crushed it."
Aqua and Dave fall to their knees.
Rem:"Is it somebody's idea of a prank?"
Kazuma:"That's not a fun prank."
Aqua:"What's wrong with you? What do you have against Mr. Archie? Do you know how long I spent making him?"
Smaug:"No, Kazuma and I were the ones who worked hard making him."
Aqua looks to Smaug and she has tears in the corner of her eyes.
Smaug:"Oh, me."
Aqua starts to cry and Dave starts to also cry.
Smaug:"I'm in charge of a bunch of kids."
Emilia goes over to Dave and Aqua.
Emilia:"Hey, don't cry. Aren't you glad you saw it on the day before instead of tomorrow?"
Subaru:"Yeah. There's still time to remake it..."
Dave wipes his tears.
Aqua:"No! I don't want to remake him! It was really hard!"
Kazuma:"Aqua!"
Aqua starts to throw a tantrum.
Dave just gets up and backs away from Aqua.
Aqua:"No! No way!"
Smaug:*Facepalms.* 'I can't believe I had sex with her.'
Aqua:"If you want to make it, make it yourself, Kazuma! Smaug!"
Kazuma:"Hell no!"
Smaug:"I'm too, tired to."
Kazuma:"We won't get it done by tomorrow unless we all work together!"
Rem takes a few steps towards Aqua.
Rem:"Aqua."
Aqua:"I said no, and when I said no, I meant no!"
Shadow's cover Rem's eyes and her horn comes out. her eye glows red.
Smaug puts Dave in front of him.
Rem:"Aqua."
Aqua gets scared and sits up. Then Rem's horn disappears and she smiles.
Rem:"Aqua, we need to make the school festival a success."
Smaug:'We better! I stayed up the past week to make sure it does.'
Rem:"You understand that, right?"
Aqua:"You don't need to tell me! I know! That's why I worked hard!"
Then Aqua points to it.
Aqua:"But look what happened to it! We can't get it done by tomorrow!"
Rem:"Let's do our best."
Dave:"Yeah!"
Aqua:"It's really hard!"
Rem:"Let's do our best."
Kazuma:"The pressure is incredible."
Rem:"If we have to get it done by tomorrow, let's start it today!"
Aqua:"Let's at least eat lunch first."
Rem:"Let's start now."
Dave:"Yeah! Let's start now!"
Aqua stands up.
Aqua:"There's no time, so let's just do a half assed job. That's the best way--"
Rem:"Let's do it right."
Aqua:"From step one?"
Rem:"No. From step zero!"
Pigeons and Chomusuke fly in the background.
Aqua screams.
Kazuma:"What's going on?"
Subaru:"A really nice scene just got ruined. That's what happened."
Smaug:"I hate kids these days."
