The next day Alyssa was currently cleaning the house while almost everyone except Miu went out for the day

She was now wearing maid clothing, she was employed here to be the maid of the house Recommended by Shiro

Alyssa knew how to do house chores, it was perfect as exchange she gets to live here, food, shelter, clothing, everything was taken care off

After 20 minutes she finished, everything was sparkling clean “this world is peaceful compared to ours, I don’t have to worry about someone attacking” 

Alyssa was done with the chores for today, she was curious to check around outside and everything about this place but she had to stay and protect the fort

“The demon king was able to adapt to this world faster than I thought, I always knew she had a soft spot for peace and sweets, it’s mainly because of sweets” She jumped to the couch making it move a little

Shiro had a sudden thought about the couch being destroyed while he was in school but it might be possible because of how heavy she was, he once got seated on by her by accident, he got broken bones

She looked at the remote with curiosity, Shiro said it can control this mechanism called a Tv

Pressing the button it indeed opened, to her amazement the images we’re moving

“This is amazing! what else can it do”

Pressing several buttons, the tv changed from different shows. Keeping her busy.

Miu is inside her father's room thinking about what grandma said “I know that my son was always forgetful, it also led to his death…which is concerning honestly thought that would have changed that habit of his but here it is still full swing” 

She knew her father was like this, she also knew he wasn’t her father, deep down she always had a feeling that he wasn’t. But He is and will always be even if he wasn’t blood-related 

Miu sighs, if only she didn’t have this much understanding of the world maybe she wouldn’t think too much about 

Looking at her father's room, it was now split because of the color scheme, one was pure white with several questionable  posters the other was    Pink  filled with cat plushies 

“The demon king liked this stuff?” She went to the other side of the room 

Fluffing the cat plushies that we’re on the bed, one of the plushies was displayed filled with protective magic it was a cat one as well

Miu felt like if he tried to touch it she might just disappear without a trace

She continued fluffing them everything here was soft, a blissful experience 

Her search continues around the room, several Books we’re in the bookshelf, her father said it was called manga or something

She looked at it flipping the pages after looking at it she returned it

She did not understand anything but it looked cool

The device called pc was covered with defensive magic it was her father's mana

Why are they putting up defensive magic? Theirs no threat around here  <- the threat

Miu went downstairs to see Alyssa watching tv, Running up to her she made a gesture of wanting a hug

Alyssa seeing that hugged her “Miu, is something wrong?”

Alyssa had a sudden chill, that hasn’t happened ever since 100 years ago, it felt familiar too

Putting Miu into her lap, she changed the show.

“Big sis Alyssa Do you actually understand anything?”

“Not really translation magic doesn’t work on devices it only works on a person but I think they're talking about something important?”

The two continued to watch together eventually miu fell asleep, Alyssa picked her up carried her into shiro’s/nyxens room 

Putting her on the bed, she yawns “they wouldn’t mind if I sleep here right?”

She slept beside miu covered with a warm blanket.
