CHAPTER 8: ESCAPE
It was morning at Area 02.
Blu and his friends all gathered at the cafeteria to discuss their escape plan.
After discussing the whole plan.
Blu was left in thoughts as he pondered.

— When I came to this world,
I believed this was my second chance to do the things I never had to do; having the courage to do them, finding new things about myself, having many friends I never thought I would have.
Living a life without regret.
But, I still had to rue.
Blaming myself for not being powerful enough to save anyone.
Watching those around me die.
Being born out of nothing to become a weapon.
Pushed on a duty of protecting a country that never cared to see us.
Living a life, caged behind large walls, unable to see the world outside.
Living in fear of death.
This feelings of regret and fear kept eating me out everyday.
Despite all that, Blu was optimistic that
— However.
Of all the memories he spent together with his friends.
He couldn't think of them as anything other than as a family.
Vowing to protect them all.
Even if He couldn't save some. He kept a positive mind, wanting to still keep living as He would hold my head up high, facing those whom He failed to protect that saying 'I did my best'.
As of now, before the next sunrise.
They all would have the option to arrive at the entirety of world without being bounded by the walls.
Living their lives in a whole new chapter.
As they all going to find freedom.
And this would be the beginning of the end. As we all are going to escape from this facility.
No matter what, and live our lives out of fear, without constraints as we all grow old together. 'Yes, now is the time'.

"So does everyone get the plan?",
"...Nope",
"Huh...,
Baffled by their words, his face wore a letdown expression as he said to himself.
'Seems like I was talking to myself',
Blu then changed his expression by being optimistic about their lack of knowledge, as he said
"OK, I would go over the whole plan once more
So please listen".
"OK...",
They all said while listening carefully.
Blu's face brightened as he pondered,
— Ahh... Why do I have to deal with this guys,
But, that's what makes them family...
After a brief while, He said.
"Now I would read the blueprints of the whole facility, so better listen."
Blu then brought out a paper as he drew structures on it, saying.
All buildings are in a [X] format,
Left wing - Lab
Left tail - Training hall
Right wing - test subjects Quarters
Right tail - storage building
And, center - [men in white] Quarters",
"The walls are in a square form made of a 5-meter thick section which is up to 1 KM long, and the gate located at the west side of the wall, which are all made of highly durable amethyst steel".
"To break the walls down, we would need the spells which are being kept in the storage building, and to escape, we would also need a vehicle from it".
"How are we going to escape when the whole place is on high security",
"This place is a good security, but it ain't perfect,
We just need to create a distraction",
Leo asked as he was wondered.
"Distraction?"
Blu then responded, shifting his gaze upon them all.
"Yes, the distraction we would need is in the storage building, which doesn't have much security. We all are going to head down to the building first, and steal some spells".
After a while of talking, he perceived, they had all been nodding without a single response.
He then asked,
"I believe you all have an idea of the spells we are getting?"
Shocked by the question, they paused before answering.
"...No"
*Sigh*
Blu lowered his head in disappointment.
Afterwards, Drok said.
"I know..."
In joy over hearing what Drok said, Blu raised his head, saying to himself.
— Yes, Drok, at least someone understands me.
Drok then said.
"We just have to break the doors with our fist",
*Haahh*
Blu's expectations were defeated, as he let out deep breaths.
— seems like I am talking to dummies.
Still Blu was optimistic about them as he ignored asking and just talked.
"We would need the explosive spells, and not just one, a lot of them,
Then me and Aria would head to the lab,
Leo and Lisa head to the [men in white] Quarters
Drok and Mary would stand guard at the storage facility".
As Blu recalled their incident as the 'Hidden Room'.
He said.

— the main reason why we would go to the lab is to pay respect to our lost friends, as they all died, and are watching over us.

A short while later, Blu brought out small ear buds, as he said.
"Also, here are some [comms] I was able to steal over at the storage building, for use,
First thing, when you hear the [point 1: lab] explosion go off, from the [Omega team] that's us, Leo and Lisa, [Beta team] are to explode [point 2: The main building] and the Drok and Mary, you all are our main unit, [Alpha team],
If anything goes wrong, inform me through the comms by saying [Code red]",
They all responded.
"OK".
As they all put on the [comms], Blu thought,
— Wait, does any of them even know how to drive? Though they all should know due to the substances they gave us, but let me ask.
Blu asked,
"Does anyone know how to drive?"
Mary reacted saying.
"...ehmm I know",
With a brightened expression, he said,
"Ok, Mary, you are to pick the best vehicle you can find".
Following a short while, Blu said.
"Alpha team, when you have picked up a vehicle, you would need to take as many weapons and foodstuffs as you can. Then when the second explosion goes off, you all are going to set off a third explosion in the storage building to avoid them from following us, and then head out to the gate,
We are all to endeavor there",
"So is everyone clear on the plan?",
They all responded
"Hi..."
Blu then brightened their mood with a short motivation.
"Remember, when we leave this place, we would no longer be tied down to this facility,
So make sure you all live your lives to the fullest".
After encouraging them all, he pondered,
—Though my plan looks sloppy and there is no backup plan. If all goes well, we could escape, if it doesn't, we all die.
It's a huge risk, but I am willing to bet it all.
That Night,
{professor's lab}
Outside of the building, Blu and Aria stood, while checking out the coast for any men in white coming as they planted a bag filled with [Explosion Spells].
After dropping the bag, Blu then said, calling the rest of the teams.
"All teams are you ready",
Drok and Mary, who were both outside the storage building responded
"Team Alpha, ready"
Leo and Lisa answered from outside the command building said.
"Team Beta, also",
Blu in joy over their response said.
— pheew... Seems like they all made it to their points,
He then turned onto Aria, signaling her, as he said
"Aria, set up the explosion",
"OK",
Aria then dropped the bag while releasing her mana unto it.
— Explosion spells, this is one of the spells made by fusing your mana unto small balls called spells. Each spell has its own specific purpose depending on the words written on it.
'Seems like this world also has its own way of things'
Blu smiled as he said,
— This will be our last day in the facilities, so it's best to send some gifts over.
After she released her mana to the spell, she turned telling Blu.
"The explosions are ready".
Blu then carried the bag, throwing it to the nearby window.
Aria and Blu then ran as He said,
"In 3...2...1...go".
*Boom*
They then both jumped, avoiding the impact of the blast.
Blu then glanced back as he noticed a huge explosion took off at the lab.
*Blare*
An immense blaring sound was heard next, following a radio message.
"This is command center, we are under attack,
I repeat we are under attack".
Surprised by the radio message, he pondered,
— They are rapid on the response, but everything is according to plan
Blu then called the rest through the [comms] saying.
"This is team omega, we have finished the fireworks,
How's team beta".
In response, he heard.
"Team beta, copy,
We are starting in 3...2...1...go",
*Boom*
Another explosion took off at the main building,
"Team beta, we have just finished with the explosions".
Excited by their response, he said,
— Nice, everything is going accordingly.
Afterwards, sending a message to team Omega.
"Ok team Omega, get ready to take off, you are to pick up team Beta, then wait up at the gate",
They then responded
"Copy",
*Boom*
Another explosion at the storage building.
After a while, Blu then received a message.
"This is team Alpha and Beta, we are at the gate".
He then responded.
"Copy that",
— Now we can finally leave this place.
On arrival to the gate,
Blu and Aria were running to meet the rest.
The others shouted at Blu and Aria.
"Hey, Blu... Hurry up"
Blu estimated,
— Finally, our long lost freedom.
As Blu ran at full speed, while holding Aria.
On the snow to their endeavor point, their breaths were heavy out of exhaustion.
He then looked back at the building, there he saw a huge red light in the sky heading towards the point where his friends were as they stood next to the vehicle,
— Huh... What's that light?
He thought as he gazed, following the light.
*Weee*
The light then flew across them, landing on the vehicle.
*Boom*
Before he knew it, the red light that flew by exploded the vehicle, sending Blu and Aria away due to the blast.
