We were dead wrong. The end? HA! Like that would happen. I wish it was true but of course it wasn't. Here, let me explain what happened.

We were on the helicopter with the person. They were flying quite slowly and I couldn't help but feel a slight pinge of disbelief. This was it? Already? It seemed too easy. As I glanced around me I noticed Elijah seemed to feel the same. I glanced down at my worn shoes and then back up at Elijah. He was staring at me straight in the eye. I quickly looked back down. Liam reached over and took my hand,

"Hey. You alright? You don't seem too excited about this."

"Hm? Oh yeah . . . I'm okay. It's just going along kinda fast." I smiled and Liam smiled back and let go of my hand.

I didn't feel like telling Liam about my suspicious feeling . I was probably just overreacting. Right?

I leaned against the leather seat and suddenly was wishing for a plush bed.

"We're almost there." The person said.

"How do you know where we live?"

"Live?" The person repeated, "I don't." They shrugged.

"Then how are we getting home?" Mason asked.

The person sighed, "Sorry. I only told you that before so you'd stay calm for awhile. I guess I have to tell you now."

"Tell us what?" I asked sternly.

"How are we going to get home?" Mason asked again, apparently being too scared to realize that he had.

The person sighed again, "You aren't."

Mason jumped up from he seat and lunged towards the person as if he was about to strangle them. Elijah reached out and pulled Mason back.

"Cool it!" Elijah yelled at him.

Mason didn't relax for even a second, "What do you mean we aren't?! You told us we were! Why did you lie?!" Mason's voiced overthrew everything else.

Silence filled the small area.

"I'm sorry. It was my orders. Now if you'll please sit back down quietly and I'll explain what is to come."

Mason, being dragged by Elijah, sat down. Elijah sat next to him, holding his arm tightly. Liam was already sitting and so was I.

"Okay. Now explain." Elijah commanded.

"Alright. So you are going to be dropped off my me at a destination."

"What's the destination?" I asked.

"That doesn't matter." The person glanced back at them, "You will each be given a role depending on your previous skills that we've observed and you will be given a bundle for that role." The person took a deep breath in.

"So . . . What are our roles?" Liam asked.

The person smiled, "I'm glad you asked. Elijah you are the healer." Elijah grimced, "Mason, the protector." The person paused as if they forgot the rest, "Oh. Liam you are the problem solver."

"And me?" I asked.

The person paused again, "You're the leader. You will make the decisions." The helicopter stopped a of a sudden, "Now off you go." The floor beneath us vanished and we fell from the sky.

I covered my mouth as to not scream but you could still hear some of my muffled cries. Elijah didn't care and screamed like a little kid. Liam just stared down with a scared look on his face. Mason was too far down for me to see his facial expression but I could hear him trying to tell us something.

"What?!" I yelled back but my voice was wiped away by the rushing wind.

I screamed before I could cover my mouth. Suddenly we stopped moving and we hovered in mid-air. A small screen appeared in front of each of us. With different things on them. On mine it said,

'Thomas Grandlin. The Leader. Bundle 78: Map, dagger, access to screens, command watch, and ear cuffs'

I glanced around. Next to me Liam was looking at his screen, which read,

'Liam Winternackle. Problem Solver. Bundle 23: Paper and pencil, bow and arrow, electro lense and ear cuff'

A twinge of surprise filled me when I read Liam's last name. Winternackle? I felt as though I had heard that before.

The screens blinked away and we fell a short way into water. I felt as though I was drowning when all the water disappeared and we were on solid ground. I took a deep breath in. I glanced around. Mason was already on his feet, Elijah was laying face down and Liam had sat up with his legs sprawled out in front of him. Mason was attempting to walk but fell as though his legs were made of jello.

I pushed myself up and tried to stand and found out that my legs did feel like jello. I fell backwards and landed hard on my feet. My skin stung from the impact of hitting the water before. I assumed my legs were like jello because of rushing wind of the fall. Part of my skin was already turned red when the screen popped up in front of me,

'Bundle 78 being sent. Please stand by.'

I sat up and stared up. What bundle was it talking about? Then I remembered before when we were falling. My contents . . . what were they again? Command watch? Bow and arrow? No . . . that was Liam's. I shook my head and laid back down. A small bundle fell on my chest and I sat up again, taking the bundle in my hand. I opened it. Each item was labeled with a sticky note that said what it did and what it was called. There were no instructions on how to use them. I took out the first item,

'Map'

I unfolded the piece of paper and was showed a large building. I couldn't tell exactly what it was but four red dots blinked into existence. I assumed that was where we were. The area was labeled,

'Courtyard'

I looked at the next item,

'Dagger'

Just a regular, metal dagger with a leather handle. I traced my hand on the flat side of the blade before setting it down. Next item,

'Access to screens'

A small laptop was labeled with this. I turned it on and the screen turned blue.

'One moment'

The words filled the screen and three dots came and went away constantly.

I waited and the screen turned black with four sections. They were all labeled with names,

'Liam'

'Elijah'

'Mason'

'Thomas'

Another item,

'Command Watch'

I had no clue what it did.

Out of wonder I clicked on my own. I saw myself from behind. I looked back and couldn't see anything. So I could see anyone no matter where they were? Weird. I put the laptop down and grabbed another item,

'Command Watch'

I had no clue what it did.

Last item,

'Ear Cuff'

I assumed everyone had one so I put it in my ear. I pressed on it. I couldn't tell if it was working. A beeping noise came and a soft buzz then silence. I shrugged. I felt the bag. Something else was in it. I pulled out a belt. It was labeled,

'Belt for holding items'

I put it on. I slid the dagger in it and put the rest of the stuff back in the bundle and attached it to the belt. I pushed myself to my feet. I wobbled but stood. I glanced around. Mason looked bored, staring down at his feet. Liam and Elijah were talking. Mason glanced up and walked over to me,

"Hey."

"Hi."

Silence.

"What's in your bag?" Mason asked.

"Um, a map, dagger, command watch . . ." I thought about the Access to screens, "And a ear cuff." I smiled.

I didn't want him to know. I wanted to know if he was hiding something. He wouldn't do it anymore if he knew I could see it.

"Hm, alright." Mason nodded.

"You?"

"Oh . . . a sword, a tracker, shield, and a ear cuff." He shrugged, "Nothin much."

"You got all the fighting stuff."

"Well I am the protector." Mason sighed and rolled his eyes.

"I'd think you would like that. Don't you?"

Mason shook his head, "I don't want to have to take care of everyone. I don't like this job."

"Not like I like mine."

"What do you mean? You're the leader!"

"Exactly!" Frustration filled me.

"That's so easy though!"

"EASY?!" I yelled, "IT IS NOT EASY! I HAVE TO MAKE ALL THE DECISIONS!"

Mason took a deep breath in then groaned angrily.

Liam glanced up at us. He motioned towards us to Elijah then walked over.

"You guys alright?"

I looked down at my shoes, "Yeah."

Liam raised his eyebrows, "Anyways, so leader . . . " He smirked, "What are we going to do next?"

I glanced up at him, "Whatever you want to."

"You said you have a map. What about that?" Mason asked.

I pulled it out and tossed it to Mason.

He caught it and unfolded it. Elijah and Liam surrounded him and I was left alone.

"Well, let's go into the building." Mason directed.

We all listened and were brought into a long hallway with no doors. A loud clicking sound came and the door behind us disappeared.

I sighed and slid against the wall, falling into a sitting position.

"Can we rest?" I asked.

"Yeah." Mason sat down and so did Elijah and Liam.

Liam came over and hugged me, "It will be alright." He whispered and soon fell asleep.

Everyone else did as well and I was left the only person awake. I pressed my head against the wall.

And here is where I am now. In a hallway. Only one awake.

I felt like sleeping. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted off.
