I was in a Japanese festival. My mom and aunt saved a lot for this birthday present. Me and my aunt loved Japanese culture , and media. Japan was one of the few countries that had avoided been conquered by witches, making it very unique. Suddenly I lost sight of them. I knew no Japanese so I couldn't find help. Until I see a crimson redhead woman, she was probably a high school student. 

"Hey vampire, are you lost?" she asked 

Instead of looking for my family, the woman spoke with me. She never made eye contact , fidgeted constantly, and bit her nails  but spoke with me like I was her dear friend. 

"Melody, I felt lost but I decided to choose my own fate." Instead of finding my parents, she went on a philosophical rant about abandonment  that I didn't understood but she was an unique person. We spoke for 3 hours and played the keytar for me. She loved the keytar and taught me to play it. I was in awe looking at her playing. At the end, she gave me the keytar. "Here, it's all your to keep. Let's meet again when you mastered it." The sun was setting. Today a rare phenomenon occurred where the sun set with Venus on the side, the origin of this Japanese festival. It only occurs 10 days a year and was called "Eternal Afterglow". I loved when it happened because it was the only days of the year where I was calm. "Hey, it's the Eternal Afterglow, today is a lucky day." The woman also liked it.
