Cara was at the edge of hope. Her life depended on that very moment. She had to make the life changing decision to determine her fate. Time was of the essence. Approaching the decision, she paused. She kept her thoughts close to her heart. Realizing, that the only way she would be able to make the decision was through her heart and gut feeling. She hastily made her way-

"Dude your shift ended half an hour ago, go home."

"I will just.. Just give me a few minutes to save my documents."

"You gotta stop staying this late I have to get home. Not everybody lives a carefree life."

"I understand I'm sorry."

With a sigh of irritation, I gathered my items and left the building. Ignoring the unpleasant comments that escaped from my coworkers mouth. Although I was a journalist, what I really wanted to write, was fictional stories. I had much more freedom and less restrictions. It could be whatever my mind made it to be. For now, I am stuck in this same office writing the same old news stories. Perhaps one day. One significant day I will be able to break through the chains of reality and bring my stories to life.
