In the forests of Seward, a large crowd of Tamers gathered to watch the fight between several Wolf Tamers who had spent the entire night battling each other without rest. The combatants savagely felled a few dozen trees during their battle. These served as seating areas for their audience members who were betting on which one would give up first or become the Alpha of all Wolf Tamers at Seward. Sevire Blase had arrived on the scene at around seven in the morning because Soma messaged him to find out what happened to Lang Chi since the man failed to report back to his apartment last night.

Sevire retraced his steps to the Tamer Arena, where Lang Chi challenged Viren to fight one-on-one in the forest nearby. He followed the path they took and eventually heard the sound of trees falling and the cheering of a few dozen people from within the forest. Sevire was shocked to see that Lang Chi evolved into the third form overnight by dueling his way through it. Moreover, his need to dominate Viren had caught the attention of three other Wolf Tamers who were intrigued by the challenge and joined the duels to claim that position.

Sevire messaged Rebecca to come over and see the fight. Sadly she declined. Apparently, Dale had roped her into a massive construction project that required her worker ants. He then tried calling up Dale, but he was already on a new mission to bomb Icebugs in the cities of California. Unfortunately, Commander Ethan and Travis weren't replying to his message, so Sevire decided to record the battle with his monster app and share it later.

When Sevire zoomed the camera on Lang Chi, he received a notification that asked if he would like to view the stat sheet. He quickly tapped the info icon at the top right of the screen that explained that the monster app will allow spectators to read the stat sheets and a Mana, Stamina, and Health Bar during a duel. Sevier's curiosity made him accept it, which caused the screen to be filled with Lang Chi's details.

Sevire let out a low whistle in amazement that Lang Chi upgraded all his skills to master grade before evolving into his third form like Dale did. In addition, Lang Chi managed to swap out the Lunatic Howl skill that only made everyone around him deaf and replaced it with a pretty sick ability that would make him a terror on the battlefield.

Once he finished analyzing Lang chi's stat sheet, Sevire moved the camera towards Viren and checked out her stat sheet.

Sevire. "Damn! She is almost as powerful as Lang chi. The abilities are kind of similar but still unique. I wonder what the other three wolf Tamers have on them."

There is a twin brother and sister that specializes in Ice and Poison. The last one has a weird type of Wood elemental ability that created numerous wolves out of plant life and earth.

A seven-foot-tall man wearing the uniform of the US Ranger Battalion that bears the rank of Major and a name tag that identified him as 'Nathan Jormun' came up to stand beside Sevire as he recorded the fight.

Sevire. "Can I help you, Major?"`

Nathan. "I couldn't help but notice that you got the Canadian flag on you. Mind telling me your thoughts about what's going on with the Tamers in the Great White North?"

Sevire. "I suspect they must be trying to save survivors and create safe zones from the Icebugs, the same as us."

Nathan. "So you are saying they aren't trying to make a new nation with Tamers on top of the food chain?"

Sevire. "I have no idea what you're talking about?"

Nathan. "Hmm... you really haven't heard? There was a coup, and your government has been overthrown by a group of extremist Tamers."

Sevire. "What the fuck, when?"

Nathan. "Stop recording the wolves and look at the videos coming out of Canada."

Sevire followed the instructions and then searched through the video messaging feature's public messages and found a bizarre video. It showed the flag of Canada being burnt and replaced with a dark red flag with a white skull of a Bull Moose on it. The footage redirects its focus towards a young man standing on a raised platform facing several hundred men and women in the Canadian Mounties uniform.

"Today marks the birth of a new nation! The first one of its kind but certainly not the last! Unlike the Tamers in the UGP, we do not submit ourselves to the old governments. For we do not debase ourselves to serve non-tamers, especially those blind to the potential we possess, and treat us as monsters. Those of you who stand before me have understood this simple truth and helped me overthrow those who sought to criminalize us for using our powers."

The army that stood before him roared in anger before quieting down to let him continue his speech.

"From this moment onwards, those who refuse to become Tamers will be the ones serving us. I don't care even if they say that they are physically or mentally unable to become one. To survive in this new world, one must adapt to the new powers that have been bestowed to humanity by Fluffals. Therefore, do not believe the lies of the Church of Asher that claim he is the Devil."

A roar of approval and the clapping of their hands before silence resumed.

"Though we have claimed our rightful place on top of the food chain, the UGP will not let this go unpunished. We symbolize the new wave that will replace the old in the coming months. Before that happens, they will seek to destroy us to warn others from following our example. Those who believe that Tamers must be kept on a short leash and look upon us as tools to be used in their war against the monsters will fear us, for we are unchained. Those who think we have no purpose will learn that our goal is to liberate Tamers who have been brainwashed into serving relics of the past. Those who refuse to see the truth will perish along with their masters in Seward, which will serve as our new Capitol. Therefore, on behalf of our people and our new nation, I declare war on the UGP!"

Before the video ended, it revealed five thousand Tamers who repeatedly chanted the words freedom.
