The meeting of the representatives of the UGP ended upon the completion of Benjamin’s interrogation of the spy that Bison’s and his subordinates captured. It had taken five minutes of paranoia-induced torture for the man to spill everything he knew about the extremist’s intelligence network in Seward.

According to the Spy, their operatives had managed to rope in thirty Tamers for the Extremist cause. Most of their intelligence operatives had already returned to the main army. The few who remained had all been captured by the new Tamer Police Force. He shared the evacuation points that these people were supposed to use before the surprise attack.

Benjamin knew how important this information was, so he only communicated it to Bison, Admiral Radford, and the other representatives in the room. Admiral Radford ordered Ben to report his discoveries to Admiral Selvaria since she had become one of their main targets. Benjamin activated his combat style and camouflage skill before leaving the hall.

Admiral Radford then orders Bison to have his people lay ambushes at the evacuation points meant for the traitors. Once they were sure the spy had nothing left to spill, Bison dragged the poor shrieking man out of the meeting hall.

Indian Representative. “Will the Spy be receiving the death penalty for his crimes?”

Admiral Radford. “What makes you think we do that sort of thing here?”

Indian Representative. “Didn’t the last spy die horribly?”

Admiral Radford. “Ah! That was Admiral Selvaria’s initiative… I don’t feel the need to twist the man’s neck since we already confiscated his phone. He won’t be able to use any monster skills, which means he is just a regular human. Being locked up in a high-security cell inside the Tamer Police force should be enough for now.”

Russian Representative. “I did not bring this up before, but I admire Benjamin’s mind-reading and paranoia torture ability. They seem to be highly effective in retrieving valuable information from those resistant to conventional torture. Would you mind lending his talent to me for a few days?”

Admiral Radford. “Until the threat from the extremists has passed, I am afraid that he will have to remain in Seward.”

Russian Representative. “Is that a yes?”

Admiral Radford. “I personally believe that we should not drag our Tamers into matters that do not involve the Monster App or the Monster invasion.”

Chinese Representative. “The other countries will not be placing such restrictions on unique skills that the average tamer does not possess. Therefore, we need to adapt to these powers to serve our needs if we wish to have an advantage over everyone else.”

Admiral Radford. “That is true, but we should give the tamers the right to accept these assignments.”

Russian Representative. “Of course, we should make it worth their time and energy. Why do we not introduce a contract system for the Tamers to be incentivized to accept them?”

Admiral Radford and the rest of the Representatives thought about it for a few minutes before agreeing to the proposal. This system would allow them to hire the services of Tamers of other nations without crossing any lines.

EUF Representative. “If there is nothing left to discuss, I wish to meet with Admiral Selvaria and inspect her Vector Class Warship project.”

Indian Representative. “I am sure all of us wish to do the same. Is that alright, Admiral Radford?”

Admiral Radford. “I will arrange the transportation and security to her facility.”

Within an hour, the Representatives of the UGP arrived at Seward’s old Dock Yard, which had a massive new structure built around the remains of the aircraft carrier to block anyone from seeing the progress of the construction. It looks like a giant hangar one uses to store their planes.

Rin Miyo and Selvaria’s two genetically enhanced bunnies came to receive the guests. She now wore a new uniform that sported a White Seal Badge to mark her out as a direct subordinate of Selvaria. In addition, she used a new speech translator device that looked like a face mask to speak in English. It was created by Selvaria to make it easier for Rin to communicate with everyone.

Rin Miyo. “Welcome! Admiral Selvaria is currently busy, so she asked me to receive you all.”

Chinese Representative. “This work is more important than our visit. Therefore, you will find no complaints from us on that issue.”

Russian Representative. “From what I heard so far, your Admiral has been working non-stop since she arrived here in Seward. Does she not sleep or take a break?”

Rin Miyo. “I haven’t seen her sleep, but she does take breaks to play with these Bunnies, her monster partner, and the infant Ice bug Queen.”

EUF Representative. “Are Combat Mechs really necessary for security? Have you had any issues with spies since the last incident?”

Rin Miyo. “Admiral Selvaria wants to make this site the most secure place in Seward. The eight Combat Mechs are not the only defenses we have here. If you look more closely at the roof, you will see sensors linked to twenty automatic turrets. They are capable of intercepting incoming missiles or aircraft. In addition, over a hundred soldiers from the Knight core are stationed inside the facility, just in case.”

Chinese Representative. “This security is impressive, but what if the extremists have a Tamer like our Lang Chi who can turn into a ghost? None of these weapons or soldiers will be able to notice them.”

Rin Miyo. “Yesterday, a Tamer with a unique detection skill had sworn allegiance to Selvaria. He is searching for any Tamers who might be trying to sneak into the facility with their monster skills.”

The representatives spotted a humanoid Owl with a twelve-foot wingspan circling in the sky above. As it flapped its massive wings, the space around it lit up until only a ball of light surrounded it. Multi-colored beams of light shot out at every Tamer and Non-Tamer around the facility, including the representatives. It didn’t harm those it struck, but it followed them everywhere they moved. The sky was dark enough to make this display of colors attract everyone’s attention and admire the skill.

Rin Miyo. “His Laser-targeting skill can mark out every human or monster regardless of stealth skills. Even Benjamin’s invisibility was no match for it when he tried to sneak in here before you all arrived. Unfortunately, we haven’t tested his skill on the other tamers with special stealth skills like Lang Chi has.

Indian Representative. “When you mentioned that he swore allegiance to her. Does that mean he is not part of our Tamer Battalion?”

Rin Miyo. “Everyone willing to serve her directly has officially become part of Vector, including me.”

Russian Representative. “Hmm… Are you not worried about Vector being technically our enemy.”

Rin Miyo. “Admiral Selvaria holds a high ranking position in their leadership. If Vector sent her here to harm us, she has done a terrible job of giving technological assistance.”

Russian Representative. “That does not mean that she has no intention of exploiting us later on. Are you sure you can trust her enough to join Vector?”

Rin Miyo. “I am sorry, but why I serve her is a private matter. Now, let us begin the tour of the facility.”

Rin and the bunnies then guided the Representatives into the facility and took on the role of a tour guide. Their eyes were drawn towards several large cranes lifting up brand new main gun quad turrets into the six different ship sections that have yet to be welded together by the Neo Atlas construction Mechs.

Rin explained that the Industrial 3D printers that made Combat Mechs and Knight armor had been relocated to this facility to concentrate on the Vector Warship project. Rin then listed out the features of the ships, the new weapons such as mini rail guns, and the type of enemies they could take on. But throughout all of this, Rin avoids mentioning that the ship would be capable of flight.

Rin Miyo. “According to Admiral Selvaria, she wanted to add more weapons on it, but we are running low on rare earth metals. I had given your aides the list of resources needed to complete this project, but they informed me that it was impossible without their leadership getting the go ahead.”

This grabbed the attention of all the representatives who inspected the list Rin presented them. Their eyes slowly bulged after reading each item and the quantity required. The index had over fifteen items in total, and the last one almost made them feel uneasy.

Chinese Representative. “Thorium, Plutonium, and Uranium? Of course, we can’t hand those over without permission!”

Rin Miyo. “According to her, those resources are essential if she has to turn this scrap heap into a Vector Grade Warship.”

EUF Representative. “But, she already created so many amazing weapons of war out of junk. Can’t she make do with-”

Rin Miyo. “Consider the technology she used to create Generation One Combat Mechs and Knight Core Armor suits as gifts from her side. If you want to get access to higher tier armaments, you should not be hesitant to hand over a few things.”

Indian Representative. “India has enough Thorium, Russia has Uranium, and the EUF has Plutonium. Our leaders will give permission if we receive some kind of benefit from this transfer. Do you have anything in mind?”

Rin Miyo. “Of course, nothing is free in this world. Admiral Selvaria will offer each country that contributes these resources a unique piece of Vector grade technology that will be exclusive to them.”

Chinese Representative. “Isn’t land what your Admiral desires the most for her people? China can offer land in return-”

Rin Miyo. “Admiral Selvaria will decide when lands can be used for barter, not you.”

The Chinese Representative was taken aback by the rude reply.

Rin Miyo. “Don’t take it personally. Admiral Selvaria has the same condition for all the countries in the UGP. After she has worked with you all and judged for herself who she can trust, then only the issue of the land will be discussed. So for now, we will only focus on the resources she needs for her projects and build a base for Vector in Seward.”

It seemed reasonable to be cautious of who wished to lay in bed with. The Representatives all agreed that resources should be prioritized and proceeded to arrange the delivery of those precious supplies to Seward within a day. After this was done, the rest of the tour of the facility continued. The scale of the weapons produced by a handful of printers and worker mechs left the Representatives awestruck. At the end of the tour, they found some of their aides in deep discussion with the Tamer Battalion’s Engineering, Logistics, Scientific Research, and Development wings.

There were blueprints scattered around the floor and tables. The head of each department allocated work to each team and reassigned members according to their specialties. Selvaria was at the center of this group. She was giving instructions on how to build a bunker under the facility. One of the bunnies jumped onto her shoulder to grab her attention and then pointed her paw toward Rin and the representatives.
