Jamie and Anong were welcomed back to the gym with great fanfare as their gym mates surrounded them to ask about what had happened

"You have a fight coming up. In Japan!" Taeko jumped in exitedly

"Who... what am I fighting in?" Jamie asked

"It's an MMA match, in RESPECT, the top promotion in Japan!" Rero said

"Respect? Don't they do fake fights?" Jamie asked

"Well, normally they do. But this time they are trying to get credibility and do real fights. The prize money is 5 million dollars!" Rero said

"5 million? Who are the fighters?" Jamie asked

"They managed to get the current Olympic wrestling champion Fedor Kerelin, the current Olympic judo champion Toko Tanaka, former World Boxing Light Heavyweight Champion Ray Lewis, the former MMA heavyweight champion Ronny Jackson and even their wresting champion Rayden! They were hesitant about you after you won the Mundials, but the international news from Mexico cemented your place! Especially after there were rumors of you fighting a tiger! Many people remembered you fighting the bear, so you were an instant entry!" Rero said

"You...you're fit and not injured, are you?" Frank interrupted  

"I'm completely fine" Jamie said, removing his shirt

The coaches were stunned. Somehow, over his trip in Mexico, Jamie's body became incredibly ripped!

Suddenly Anong interrupted and said "My.. my parents want me to go home for a visit"

"Careful... lets not open up your wound" Jamie said

"You... you're injured Anong?" Smart asked

"Yes... I got shot in our escape" she said, intentionally not telling of Jamie being shot multiple times with no signs of injury

"As long as you are ok" Smart said, looking concerned

"I already received treatment in Mexico. But I think I need to take 3 months off fighting" she said

"Oh! Then it's good you are going back to Thailand. We will postpone your fight that was supposed to be in a month" Rero said

"That will be best" Anong said

They returned to their shared apartment and their clothes flew off as they embraced each other, Jamie carrying her to the showers

"Jamie.... can you... tell me about yourself?" Anong suddenly asked

"You know all about me" Jamie smiled, acting ignorant to her tone of questioning

"I don't know. Maybe win as many things as I can before retiring. I don't know if I will age, so it's best to disappear after a few years" he said

"Then.. what about me?" Anong said, realizing that she will grow old while he possibly couldn't

"You'll be with me. We'll elope somewhere and disappear" he said

"Sure... after a while people will think you are my toyboy when I am old and wrinkly" she pouted

"Well, another goal is to find out what happened to me, and maybe be able to reproduce it" he said

"To keep me young, or to rescue... Melanie?" Anong suddenly asked

Jamie stared at her before answering "Maybe both" 

She sat up and hugged him, realizing that he was still affected by what had happened to Melanie. She was sensitive enough not to be jealous about it

The next few days, they would have to book a flight to Thailand for the two of them, and she was already glad that he had agreed to meet her parents

To her, that was enough to show how serious he was about her
