The event was started with a grand opening, welcoming the Prime Minister of Japan to witness the event

Jamie was paraded together with the other champions of various martial arts

He actually knew several of them, if not personally, but also by reputation

He had just met Ronaldo Boost, the Dutch Muay Thai/Kickboxing champion from the Netherlands

Besides that, there was Judo Olympic and World Heavyweight Champion Toko Tanaka whom he trained with and trashed in the Kodokan

He recognized the Sambo World Heavyweight Champion too, Igor Romanov, whom he had trashed in training in Russia. He had trained with him without knowing who he was

Both Toko and Igor smiled when they met Jamie, but eyed him warily, knowing that they had slim to no chance if they met him in the competition.

Then there was former world light heavyweight champion Ray Lewis, who was world famous as he was a monster boxer in his prime

There was former MMA Champion Ronny Jackson, who only lost his MMA title when he was caught taking steroids. But this tournament didn't bother about steroid use, and the prize money was good, so he joined. His body clearly showed that he was still on the juice

But then again, Jamie's body also looked like he was on the juice. In actuality, his body produced an incredible amount of growth hormones by itself, and it was unclear if in a US sanctioned event, if he would pass the growth hormone test since his body produced so much of it.

There was also the "fake" wrestling champion of Japan, Rayden. Jamie didn't know how he'll do, but he hoped that there would not be any fake fights in this event

America also sent their "fake" wrestling Champion, Maximus "the Madman" Maniac, who was famous for taking "extreme" matches with barb wires and thumbtacks on the mat. He was famous for taking an inordinate amount of punishment.

Then there was the "real' wrestling Olympic champion Fedor Kerelin, the undisputed and undefeated wrestling champion, both in Greco and Freestyle. He is a legend that has gone undefeated for 5 Olympics and 6 World Championships, having won everything in wrestling for 22 years, or since he was 18 years old!

Then, there was the "Garcia Killer" Sanja Nobunaga , a Japanese"fake" wrestling champion that defeated Jamie's coach's Rero's family members, after they were undefeated for 80 years in MMA matches from the time they were in Brazil. He became a national champion in MMA, winning many underdog fights, but never being able to win the very top championships

Then, there was his first opponent, the legendary Sumo Yokozuna, Horuku

Besides Jamie, there were 5 other contestants that he had never met, nor had he heard off and only knew them by name

Japan was also represented by World Karate Champion Akira Shoji, who was a muscular heavyweight

There was Desmond Le Pen, the Savate World Champion from France.

Arnold Bornson was the World Strongest Man for the last 5 years and was invited as well

They also invited Olympic Heavyweight Champion of Tae Kwon Do, Park Joo Hoo, who had a growing reputation after being undefeated in MMA in Korea

Lastly, there was Captain Mark Manham, the world military unarmed combat champion, who was a marine and also a world fitness champion

Jamie thought that it was an eclectic group of contestants, but he was here only for fun and money. While he didn't underestimate anyone, he sensed that nobody here could defeat him, even in his sleep

After being paraded, they were led back to the back room as the first two contestants were announced into the ring

The show was opened with Japan's "fake" wrestling champion Rayden, who was matched against TKD champion Park Joo Hoo

Unsurprisingly, Park Joo Hoo won the fight in the second round, putting Rayden in a triangle, which was a submission hold, choking out Rayden with his legs in the guard

The second bout was Jamie vs the Yokozuna Horuku, who weighed over 500 pounds!

The match started as Horuku did a high split with one leg pointed straight at the sky before stomping to the floor, which shook the whole ring, causing the referee to comedically fall to the floor

Jamie stood calmly, watching Horuku try to intimidate him

The referee got back up and waved for the bell to ring, starting the match

Horuku suddenly charge forwards, trying to push Jamie powerfully out of the ring

Jamie stood his ground and incredibly halted Horuku's charge, completely stopping the momentum of Horuku's 500 plus pound charge

Suddenly, he grabbed Horuku's belt and lifted him high in the sky, slamming him onto the ground in a belly to belly suplex!

Jamie was a bit careful not to hurt his opponent after accidentally breaking Cheebai's arm from a punch in Bangkok for the Muay Thai Title

This time, he would use the "gentle art" of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Horuku was stunned on the floor, but unharmed as Jamie didn't slam him too hard

In a smooth movement, Jamie turned Horuku to face downwards and choked him out with a rear naked choke

As Horuku tapped, Jamie won his first fight in less than 20 seconds!

With him lifting the 500 pound Sumo Yokozuna in the air effortlessly, this time nobody doubted Jamie's victory!

"Are you ok?" he asked Horuku who was shocked that he lost so easily as he offered his hand to the Sumo wrestler

Horuku took his hand and was surprised that Jamie pulled him to his feet easily as thousands of cameras took another incredible picture that matched the one where Jamie held Horuku in mid air.

Jamie smiled, holding Horuku's hand up with him as they walked backstage together.

The remaining opening matches were impressive, but none as impressive as when Jamie manhandled the gigantic Horuku!

After Park Joo Hoo defeated Rayden and Jamie defeated Horuku, the following matches were quickly concluded

Judoka Toko Tanaka defeated US "fake" wrestling champion Maximus Maniac after slamming him hard to the ground multiple times

Kickboxer Ronaldo Boost defeated Savate Champion Desmond Le Pen in a pure kickboxing match, after Desmond broke his big toe toe hitting Ronaldo's shin while trying to use one of Savate's special kicks using the big toe

"Real" wrestling champion Fedor Kerelin defeated Captain Mark Manham from the military games champion after he manhandled him and took him down and accidentally breaking his ribs

The Sambo Champion Igor Romanov struggled, but eventually defeated World Strongest Man Arnold Bornson. Arnold overpowered him several times, but Igor managed to win using superior martial techniques

Former MMA Champion Ronny Jackson overpowered Karateka Akira Shoji, and Ronny was clearly jacked and raged on Akira, injuring him badly

Former Boxing World Champion Ray Lewis, who was arguably the most famous fighter in the tournament and fought last, was taken down several times by "Garcia Killer" Sanja Nobunaga, but he somehow managed to knock him out, even on the ground

And thus, the first round was over and Jamie checked out the draw to see his next opponent.

He would be fighting Fedor Kerelin in the next round, which is scheduled tomorrow!
