Hugo rinsed his face before breakfast to wake up. He looked tired in the mirror, with puffy red-rimmed eyes. He broke the serious mood by making a silly expression to himself in the mirror.

Hugo made it to the set early and was quickly rushed to makeup and then sat for about an hour and a half waiting for the photographer. Hugo hoped the magazine he was doing a shoot for had found someone decent for him to work with. He was relieved when he saw someone he recognizes bustling around on the set.
Hugo had never met Xavier personally, but he wasn’t an unknown. In fact, he was a little infamous for insisting on being called by his initial and for his fake over-the-top personality. Fortunately, he was also known for being personable and his solid record of results. This type of infamy wasn’t bad to associate with. Hugo made his way over to introduce himself and ask ‘X’ if he had any advice for today’s shoot.
X complimented him in what was probably the photographer's idea of a fashionable accent, while framing some shots. "Yuv got this really niuce figuuer. Very naatural and niuce looking development of ze fat and mooscles. Vat ve will do here is have you pose, wiv very ahhhh naatural lines. Ve want to highlight dis feature of you, yes?"1You've got this really nice figure. Very natural and nice looking development of the fat and muscles. "Whatever you say boss!" Hugo replied cheekily with a big smile. He worked very hard to maintain his body shape without getting too extravagant of muscles while showing off some nice ab definition. Hugo’s muscles were still a little sore and continuously reminded him of that fact as he tried out some poses to stretch and relax.
Hugo’s motions also showed off what was admittedly a very nice looking body. However, his 'ideal fat distribution' was more due to not being able to eat until he is full due to financial restraints. However, there was no need to contradict the photographer on this. Hugo was just happy X was happy with him.
It wasn't Hugo's first time doing a job like this, and an unhappy photographer could make things really difficult for the model. A popular enough unhappy person in the industry could make finding new gigs almost impossible. Luckily for Hugo, his only truly negative experience was with a female photographer new to the industry, who Hugo refused to spend some time in the backroom with. He was here to sell his face, not his body.
Luckily, X was a happy photographer. The shoot went really well. None of the poses were difficult and X seemed more than pleased with the results. Everyone around the set relaxed with a laugh when things wrapped up quicker than expected. Hugo made sure to collect business cards and share his own, since he wasn’t part of a modeling agency.
One of the younger Male assistants even asked him if he was ElitePhantom. It was Hugo’s first chance to hand out his signature. The assistant was scolded for almost making Hugo cry, but they secretly shared a sheepish smile after the supervisor’s rant.
This was probably Hugo’s best working experience, and he was excited to see the results later. Hugo asked if he could stick around and quietly watch some of the other models work for experience. He decided to fool around on his phone in the meantime.
