"While it's is nice that my HP and MP is increasing a lot but my strength, stamina, agility, dexterity are all mostly that of a level 1 player. I wonder if there are potions for these stats too somewhere. Well no point thinking too hard on that for now. "

And so I continued heading deeper and deeper in the dungeon as I had no idea where should I go.

And I soon arrived at a dead end. 

"Huh..... This is a dead end? Should I had gone the other way? "

As I was thinking all this, a message from system appears. 

"Through the skill *Enhanced Senses, you have sensed a huge number of monsters are quickly approaching you. "

"Wha... Was this a trap? Activate skill *Search. Target - Monsters within a radius of 50m"

"Through the skill *Search, you have detected a total of 45 monsters - black rats approaching you. "

"Black rats, huh. I see. 

Hahahaha..... 

Want to trap me here? So bad there is only one route that leads to here. Now, you brainless monsters let me teach you how to setup an ambush. "

"Activate skill  *Magic arrows. Mana consumption 15 per arrow. Element - Fire. Quantity - 40. 40 arrows × 15 mana, I am using 600 MP on this attack. 

Magic arrows, pierce through. No black rat shall leave from here alive. "

As there is only 1 route that leads to here, there is nothing for black rats to hide behind. Now let's start some black rat massacre. 

As all of them were approaching me from the path, I had just came from, I just rain down 40 magical arrows on them from where I am standing. I had already anticipated that I will not be able to kill 40 black rats with 40 magical arrows as their ability stat is so high that they should be able to dodge some of my attacks. 

I intended to cull down on their numbers. 

Surprisingly very few of them were able to dodge my attacks. 35 black rats were completely obliterated and only 5 black rats remained. 

But it won't be easy to kill the remaining five given their high agility stat. 

My remaining MP after that large scale attack is 420. And running out of mana in a dungeon is almost equivalent to suicide.

"Oh, I didn't knew there would be additional rewards for large scale monster hunting.  But this is good for me. I can't ask for a better reward right now. And it's a low intermediate rank MP potion too. I am not really sure but it seems a tier higher than the low rank MP potion. "

"Hahahah..... now it's time for these remaining black rats to go meet their dead friends. "

And then, to make sure I kill all 5 of these uselessly agile black rats in one go, I prepared 4 magic arrows of mana consumption 10 for each five rats. 

It will cost me 200 MP for just 5 black rats but it can be trouble some if one of them survives as my agility is less than them, I can't defeat them if they closed the distance between us. 

"Activate skill *Magic arrows. Mana consumption 10 per arrow. Element - Fire. Quantity - 20. Pierce through. "

And so, I successfully survive this trap thanks to my level up and item drop. 

Just as I was feeling relieved, ground started to shake once again. I though those black rats were coming again but something was off. These tremors are somewhat different from what I felt on the surface when a horde of black rats charged at me.

"What the hell is with this monster? Is this dungeon trying to kill me? Which level 4 monster's HP is greater than a level 9 player who has even consumed 3 low rank HP potions. Aside from his agility, almost all of it's stats is double than that of me. Surely, it's a boss monster. "
