Finding Job and encountrung the Shaddy Guy

Merlin POV 

'Haah, I got kicked out finally and now I have to find a job first otherwise I might starve to death'

I want to become strong too so that I can get my revenge too 

What do i do ?

hmm 

I should find some clerical work in an organisation since I know maths 

Ok but which organisation should I join 

I want to join an organisation which can save me in times of need if possible 

Hmm I should go and check first 

I got up from the bench I was sitting and went to office of organisations for registrations 

I saw the office of many organisations in the business street of the territory

By the way I am in the next to next territory to mine , it was smooth travel and this city is governed by Viscountess Martha Lumber, I don't know much about her . Just that she is a kind person 

I reach the business street and entered the office of organisation called Wakbuk , it is an organisation which fight monsters and also works in field of medicine too 

I walked to a receptionist and asked 

"Hello, I want to join here, can you tell me the process "

"Yes, you may jon the organisation but which field are you looking for ?"

"If possible I would like to join the clerical field "

The receptionist looked at me and said 

"Sorry we are full for clerical posts"

"Oh it's okay"

I left and started going from one organisation to other but sadly I didn't get any job 

it was evening and I had to search for an inn so I left the business street 

As I was going out I was called out 

"Hey , you do you want a job"

I look towards the source of voice only to find a man in black robes with covered face 

One thought appeard in my mind as I saw him 

'Shady'

"Yes, but how do you know ?" I ask 

"Just guessed "

Lie, he must be seeing me from some time to deduce this, I wanted to reject but I really wanted a job now 

"Ok let's go then " I said and we left as I followed him to alleyway

"Umm, so what is your name?" 

"You can call me David"

He spoke in nonchalant voice 

"Why are we going in the alleyway?".

"We are going to the organisation and once we reach there , you will be assigned with the job of sweeping.One more thing once you enter the organisation, you cannot leave without permission and you will stay in the room provided by us and if you cannot you can turn back and leave now "

What!? I cannot leave without permission then how will I be able to interact with outside , they are just saying you will be locked in a place and cannot leave 

Should I go back now? Maybe I can find another job

But what if I can't 

Ahh, I will leave this to future me I am going there 

We arrive to what seemed to be a bar and I am quite surprised that there is a bar in this old alleyway

We enter bar and there are only two three people doing their own business and a bartender

David came to bartender with me behind , and he said some incoherent words to him which I couldn't make sense of , maybe magic words 

The bartender looked at me and I felt chills down my spine with his gaze like he was scanning something

After gazing for sometime the bartender nodded and asked us to follow him 

We arrive backside of shop near a garbage bin, the bartender slid the bin and an entrance formed in the front wall of backside with stairs leading downstate

David called me to follow him and I did we reached downstairs and David said 

"Sun Grass Time" 

After he said that the door opened and we entered and I was surprised how big it was inside it was like the whole city above can come inside it and there were many buildings in here whose names were written with Mana words so I could not read 

There were many people inside in different clothes, some had one circle on their bodies , some had 2 circles , Some had 3 circles on their arms 

I followed David and we came to desk where a young man in 20s was sitting and signing documents and he had 2 Circles one inside other 

David said respectfully

"Sir Leon, he is the new cleaner I found" 

"Hmm, did you check his details correctly"

"Yes sir he is a fallen noble with 0 talent and has nowhere to go so he is no threat and Sir Louis have appraised him himself so he is just a normal person" 

At the name of Louis he widened his eyes but soon nodded and said to me  

"David must have already told you important points of here but let me tell you the main rules here" 

"Each person will recieve a circle and the number of circles on you will determine your position, if you meet a person with higher circles than yourself you will have to be respectful towards him

If you break a rule and your position is not worthy enough, you will be executed 

If you want to leave organisation you must sign a life death contract to not spell out anything to others or you must have your memory erased 

You will be given one circle by me anywhere on your body 

Only people with orders from above or with authority can grant circles 

As for your job you will be assigned to clean the library

Do you understand? "

What a bizzare thing , so many rules and execution, life death contract and so much more, just where am I 

"Yes I understand but what is the name of Organisation ?"

David and Leon looked at me and said 

"You must have 2 Circles to know its name as at 1Circle you are not allowed to access any info ".

Shitty Circles 

"Alright...* 

I said calmly 

I got one circle drawn above my palm by a strange magical pen , it must be work of mystic arts 

I got a room which was decent , it contained one bed , One cupboard, one table and chair , 1 bathroom and a small window at corner of room for ventilation

I got ready for work as my work starts in morning and ends evening

I went to library next morning and started my work of cleaning , library was very quite like if I drop a pin it will echo in whole library 

Maybe it is because of the noise cancellation devices made by dwarfs that uses Mana as source to cancel voice of outside entering inside 

The library was a huge place and had millions of books and there were many cleaners also 

it looked vast and I looked like a child lost but I quickly started cleaning library 

It continued for few days and I came to know mny things in this time that I can read books in library after my shift but only books which are for 1 Circle people like me and other sweepers 

I decided that I would start reading from tomorrow and try to find a way to help me use Mana or Ki 

I can forget about Mystic Arts as they are rare people even more than Wizards 

They uses their Arts to do impossible

impossible means by normal standards 

it does not mean that Mystics are most powerful as Wizards as well as Sword Masters are equally powerful 

The second thing I came to know that even if you were to die somewhere here or got lost in this area, no one will care as new people will replace you so it is advised not to go to different paths you are not sure of 

I came as usual today and finished my shift then I did not go bak instead I went to find books I can read 

I came across a book titled 

'Power System if the World ' 

I knew how rare book it was that even our hose did not have one and this here is for 1 Circle people 

Maybe there had been a secret Library in our house unknown to me 

Well nothing I can do about it 

I found desk and started reading it 

In this world Mages or Wizards are divided into levels according to their power 

And those levels are 

Apprentice Mage/Wizard :

Here the person opens magic channel inside his body so that Mana can flow through him and be utilised , the stringer the better 

Rank 1 Mage/Wizard :

In this rank the person makes Mana flow in themselves and start filling veins in body to full with Mana 

Rank 2 Mage/Wizard : 

In this rank they make the Mana flow in their skeleton system to make their bodies adapt for upcoming Mana which will be acting as a container or vessel and the outer surface of vessel should not be weak 

Rank 3 Mage/Wizard:

In this rank they fill their internal organs and main organs like heart with Mana to strengthen them as it will be part of their vessel which will store mana in them

Rank 4 Mage/Wizard:

In this rank the person will fill his entire body with Mana including arteries with Mana to brim and endure it 

Rank 5 Mage/Wizard :

Inthis rank after mana in body stabilise, they will start making a void region at their solar plexus 

Rank 6 Mage/Wizard:

From here it will be extremely difficult to progress as they will have to stary forming Mana core in their solar plexus which will start absorbing mana from from surrounding the denser the core the better 

Rank 7 Mage/Wizard:

In this rank the entire mana of body will be sucked dry by core so they have to maintain Mana to be present in their body so as not get crippled

Rank 8 Mage/Wizard:

In this rank the Mana Core will start to stabilize and become a permanent mana supplier to body

There are a total of 11 ranks in the world responding to 11 dimensions of universe 

But there is a legend saying a 12th dimension also exist and and so there is a 12th Rank but it is currently too far for me 

I must activate my network somehow 

It says Mana network is present in everybody but due to low talent not everybody can open this network 

But my gut is telling me that I can activate it but I must find how ? 

As I was leaving for my room I heard some sweepers talking to themselves

"Hey, are you sure that is a secret enterence"

"Yes I am sure no one has visited it Judging by how dusty it was, there must be many treasure there "

"What if someone finds it"

"Dont worry it has entrance at the very back if library where only history books are kept for 1 Circles so no will find "

"Ok we will visit tomorrow"
