The sun rose.

Kiara didn't sleep.

Her body didn't need sleep with the energy coming from the fruits.

Her body received another round of strengthening.

She cultivated her body all night, not stopping at the least.

She also solved most of the problems about her deaths coming up on the surface when she closes her eyes.

Now it will take a long time before the traumas surface, enough time for a complete recovery of mental power.

Phew.

Kiara opened her eyes.

She looked at the rising sun and derived that it's near six am.

She turned her head to look at the house.

The girl didn't go outside to check for me.

That confused Kiara.

She still must be a normal girl. Her body is just peculiar... Definitely something unknown to her.

Although trained at the knife, she doesn't know how to prevent enemies from coming back...

Kiara looked at the small pond near the house.

That pond is also weird.

She could feel a completely different kind of energy flowing underneath it.

She can't interact with it, only feel it.

And with the distance of her temporary residence to the pond, the source of energy seemed enough to cover more than enough distance.

It only released energy when the black haired girl came home.

She didn't notice it yesterday, but just an hour before she stopped training.

The mysteries surrounding the house deepened the longer she observed.

There's also the fact that she hadn't found any traces of life in the forest, but only outside.

With being the black haired girl being the only life she found from all of this.

Is she even human?

The thought passed though her mind, but she dismissed it as easily.

She didn't mind if she's not human.

As long she's not a threat to me and others. That's fine.

Kiara thought.

Enough contemplating. I should do what I needed to do.

Kiara checked her condition.

Healthy, no hidden injuries.

Muscle strength should be worth three adults now. Only a little more.

Kiara stretched her body.

Body energy is running low. I should eat soon.

I should also plan on doing bone regeneration soon, but that will need my mana core to awaken.

There are many layers of strengthening, but she could only do one aspect for now.

As for the plan in the next few days, that will be body strengthening and observation.

She looked at the distant house.

I will train my mental power once my mana core is awakened.

This should be all for now. The future doesn't need me right now.

Kiara smiled.

"Time to go to work."

...

Forest.

Only Kiara's footsteps echoed in the trees.

"Still, I wonder what happened here."

Kiara glanced at the peaceful scenery with doubt.

"Everyone just disappeared, and if I didn't have mental power to escape from that room, I would've died."

She jumped on a tree, plucking fruits from the branches.

Crunch.

"The fruits on all these trees are also similar. They all taste the same to me."

Kiara pouted.

She didn't have a choice. She can't eat meat since there's nothing to kill.

I should scout the whole forest slowly.

Kiara already have a plan after gazing at the countless trees.

...

Time passed.

Kiara went out of the forest, returning to her old spot.

She looked at the sun and estimated that it should be nearing noon.

I don't have lunch though.

Kiara sulked.

Besides these fruits, there's nothing else inside.

Kiara grabbed a bunch of fruits so she could store them.

She didn't have a container yet, so she could only dump them beside the tree.

I can't cut through trees yet. Not when I have no mana.

Although she could use her mental power to cut them, it would drain her completely.

They're mental, not physical.

It should be intangible, but only became tangible because of accumulation.

"I could do with a saw."

Kiara chuckled.

Bang——!

"What?"
