I changed clothes and went to breakfast.

I watched her skip away before meeting her friends.

I heard from a friend of mine that Sara is scary and a different person when she's not with me. I can't believe that.

I turned around at the sound of his annoying voice and greeted him.

"Good morning Zack, did you sleep well?"

Zack was Malcolm's younger brother, apparently Zack was going to be the head of his house, but his older brother will take over.

We are friends since we met in the dungeon.

I found out he is a reincarnate like me.

"Wrong. I stayed up late playing cards and couldn't sleep well. I think I'll fall asleep in class."

We were from the same classroom so it was normal to walk in together.

Hurried footsteps we all heard and the door opened abruptly.

"Safe! I made it in time this time."

A girl not at all feminine entered the room.

It was Lucy, the daughter of the acting female chairman. The representative of the seven Aster families.

Lucy's mother and Randolf were to be engaged as children, but apparently Zack's house beat Lucy's house in seizing Randolf.

Lucy lifted her face and a smile of victory was plastered on it.

We pointed straight ahead and she turned her face to Professor Lutart who was pointing at the clock above.

"Lucy. You have one more late to your list, congratulations."

"I'll see you on the way out to give you your clean-up punishment."

"Not again!"

We all laughed at Lucy.

Morning classes were almost over.

Zack was chatting with some boys about yesterday's radio show that talked about a horror legend of a certain bloody knight.

As I finished writing, Lucy turned to look at me.

She was smiling at me in a very affectionate way.

"Hehe. I was late again."

"Do you think that's a compliment to you?"

I gave her a light karate chop to the head.

"It hurts!"

She exclaimed as if for real.

Lucy and I met when I accidentally years ago fell on her at a party hosted by the Vermillion Household.

I was invited by Sara.

I separated from her and ended up falling on Lucy after slipping.

I begged for forgiveness as they could kill me, but Lucy laughed. She told me that this place full of adults was very serious and the children were serious too.

So we went to the garden to play.

Years passed and we became childhood friends.

Also, last year when I found Zero, it was curious that I also found a sapling, that sapling shone and made me its guardian.

Of course, the guardian of the sapling is nothing since who matters is the guardian of the sacred tree.

Randolf-san and Lucy's mother got mad at me. But someone helped me so there is no problem.

She ignored me until the lunch bell rang.

The problem was that it was at an academy party and I don't quite remember how it happened.

I only know that before the beating, Jude was stalking Lucy, after that day he stopped.

I told him everything that could help him, I am not an expert on the subject. So I don't understand why ask me.

Before he left he said to me.

I walked to the garden to check if she was there.

The two stared at each other for a while.

Lucy turned her head as she answered her.

"It's none of your business what I want to do with him."

"I see. In that case, we're leaving."

Sara grabbed my arm and pulled me with her.

But she wasn't the only one.

"Wait! Where do you think you're taking Rudel?"

Lucy got angrier at Sara for saying that.

"It's not my fault. It's Lucy's fault, she's the one looking to get away from me."

Lucy instead touched her hair.

"Sara is the one who is annoying. I just wanted to spend time with you, but she decides to pick on me just because she doesn't want to leave you alone."

I sighed at that.

"If you both want to spend time with me."

"Just ask. I'll take you for walks or buy things if you want. But don't fight."

Saying that, their faces flushed and they avoided looking at me.

"That's not fair. Using those words..."

"W-well. I have no problem if you want to spoil me like that."

After we stood up, I thought it was all over.

But it got weirder.

With loving looks they grabbed my arms and both said.

"Rudel. Let's go sit somewhere far away to eat."

"I want you to feed me. It's your punishment for making us fight."

For some reason I wanted to ask them the reason for their actions, but I better kept quiet and just nodded.

"All right. Let's go eat."

We walked away from everyone to go eat.

Night fell and I went back to the Rosenberg mansion to sleep.

Sara asked me to take a bath with her, but I refused... Randolf-san was behind me so I couldn't even jokingly tell her I agreed.

After classes were over, Lucy kept hugging me before I got into the limousine, which Sara took the opportunity to hug me.

It was a tiring day, so it's time to sleep.

Zero who was next to me said.

"It was a good day, wasn't it Master?"

"Well, yesterday was so-so. But I have no complaints."

My days are calm and relaxing.

"Good night Zero."

"Good night Master Rudel."

Despite saying that, I couldn't close my eyes because of something I remembered.

Diana said that this country was the sequel to an annoying game.

The first part of that game is set in a country called Altfode Kingdom.

For some reason, I feel like I forget something important when I hear that name.
