After the nightmare, I had the last hunt I had to go after a new creature. This time the hunt isn't as peaceful as for the Bukavac.

"Wake up, wake up cutie"- Dewey was waking me up, he was holding me in his arms  he kissed my forehead

"I am awake, what now?"

"Well remember today is your birthday, so happy birthday my love!"- Dewey kissed me, he hid a gift behind his back, I opened the gift and he gifted me an opal necklace, I love opal, my favorite gem.

"Thank you, Dewey"- I hugged and kissed him

"I know this is your birthday, but you have a new mission, I will employ 2 hunters so you can be safe on the hunt, Leo you already know him and Aideen, he is from Australia"- 2 men entered the door, one of them tall with chestnut hair and with specific patterned eyes was Leo, a tall man with long hair in hairclips, the hair was white. He was skinny overall, his eyes were dark blue, I seem to observe a second pupil that seems to have a red color

"Nice to meet you Natasha!"- Aideen was cheerful to meet me, Leo looked straight at my father with disgust

"Well, well, well another one of Ishna's tricks, you won't fool me this time, be on your ass bastard, understood!"- Leo shouted at my father while holding him in the air and then dropping him on the ground

"Man, what the hell are you doing!?"- Aideen was surprised to see Leo behaving like this

"We are hunting a Zmaj, basically a humanoid bird"- Leo seemed very disturbing

"You are right about the hunt, not about Ishna, I encountered him, and he assumed my identity to someone else, he knocked me out when it happened, I barely manage to heal with the pill. So don't worry about this one, I understand your concern about Ishna since he is the only one that can open portals and become intangible and also manipulate repulsive and attractive forces at will, you don't have to worry now"- My father smiled to Leo

"Isn't Nimi coming?"- Leo suggested to all of us

"Well if she wants to"- Nimi was getting ready to go on the hunt with us

"I want you to have a safe travel"

We got out of the door, and we got in the car Leo knew the location of the hunt already. I looked at the landscape around me, it was beautiful. But I was thinking about the hunt I heard in the folklore Zmaj are dragons but they are just humanoid birds resembling a human

"And Aideen, are you a human?"- I asked Aideen, he looked very human aside from the eyes

"No, I am a demon, a Kakuha demon to be exact, Kakuha demons are also known as tentacle demons, we can form appendages that resemble tentacles that can be used to attack, also demons have faster regeneration than humans and vampires, Also demons can grow a finger back in minutes, a hand in 1 week, 3 weeks shorter from vampires and unlike vampire can reattach their head in 6 hours"- Aideen was so cheerful reciting the information

"And about other creatures that can regenerate faster than this?"- I asked curiously

"Well, we have Wendigo, Wechuge and skinwalkers. Skinwalkers are the fastest creature in regeneration ability in the whole world, they can regenerate in 0.01 of a second, head, limbs anything, the only weakness is Silver which is directly harmful to they're skin, Wolfsbane and white ash have to be in contact with they're blood to have any effects, these are the only 3 ways to kill a skinwalker"- Aideen was looking at Leo

"Well there is one skinwalker immune to silver, that is Ishna"

"So, about Ishna, what is the deal with him?"- I asked Leo, he was cautious with his words

"Well he is a rouge hunter, he is being controlled by someone, this is what I know"- Leo was looking at the road ahead of us

"And Aideen, about you, you seem to be very happy"

"Yes I am happy, I learned to live life despite all the loss I had faced. I was always this way, I try to find the best way to be happy"- Aideen smiled at me with the most joyful and sincere smile I could ever see

"We will have to wait for the Zmaj, we will fight it in the morning"- Aideen suggested

"That is a good idea"- I agreed with Aideen

"Ok"- Leo confirmed

"You 2 just sleep ok? We have a long road ahead"- Both me, Aideen, and Nimi fell asleep, Nimi was too quiet for this but she was already sleeping

"Wake up, we arrived"- Aideen was gently waking me and Nimi up, it was morning

"We camped here for 1 day and the next morning, the Zmaj should arrive, it will be weaker, I already set the trap, it will build up courage as it sizes us up"- Leo setting up tents, there were only 2 tents

"One for Aideen, and one for you and Nimi"

"Aren't you setting a tent for you?"- I asked Leo, somehow worried about him

"I am a skinwalker, remember, I am more durable than most of you, plus I will give you the when the Zmaj arrives"- Leo was setting up a campfire for the night that has to come.

"I will go and explore the north of the forest, Natasha and Nimi you go west and Aideen you go East, remember we came from the south"- Leo had gone in the north to explore the forest

Aideen's Perspective
I did as Leo suggested, I found some tracks of wild boar but nothing special, I saw some red berries that looked edible. I tried them and they were delicious. I saw out of the corner of my eyes a shape moving, I turned and saw a skinny human, I thought it was a Wendigo but this is Russia, not Canada, so it must be a crawler, I remember that it might be some sort of gnome but it was too tall, I readied my tentacles and rifle to shot at it if it ever becomes aggressive but it just fleed

Natasha's perspective:

"Why did he want us to do this in the first place?"- Nimi was dazed

"We need to know the forest a little, and see if the Zmaj is somewhere near, we can't be sure so it is the best choice"

"Ok Natasha"

I continue searching the forest with Nimi. We found a shack but nothing interesting was going on, Nimi looked concerned

I returned with Nimi at the camp

"Back already Aideen?"- I asked Aideen with surprise

"Yes, found nothing of note"

"Same here"

Leo was moving fast

"Good news, we can expect it from the north"

"Good find"- Aideen complimented Leo on the find

"Now you can rest"- I had gone with Nimi to sleep in the tent

I didn't dream at all

"Wake up it is here"- Leo woke me up, I saw a big human and bird hybrid, I got my rifle ready, it wanted to grab me, Leo was in front of me, he gor grabbed and torn in 2, his upper half fell, he somehow still move, he reattached his torso, he begun fighting again, he didn't use a rifle, I remember I don't have to use one either, I had a bottle of water in my pockets, so I used it to summon Sasha, she understood and turned into the Katana, I tried using my mark without breathing properly, I collapsed on the ground until I could breathe properly, I now know why you should breathe like this, it would stop you from suffocating, I took a deep breath and many more afterward, Aideen imobilised the Zmaj with his tentacles, Leo wa son the ground hypnotizing it with his eyes so I can strike it, I ran fast on a tree and jumped horizontaly at its head, I slashed it's head once, and it fell dead, but I was in the air. Aideen caught me with one of his tentacles

"That was so fast"- Nimi was surprised at my speed

I took a pill and healed the damage

"So what now?"- I asked the others

"Well we go back"- Leo grabbed Aideen into the car aggressively

Leo drove us home in an aggressive way. He was on edge about something.

At home:

I could feel the presence of something malevolent, something harmful. I wanted to think of what it could be but I only saw my father there, Dewey was gone

"Welcome back my girl!"- My dad gave Me and Nimi a hug

"I am glad it is over dad"- I replied to my dad with my warmest tone possible

"Well, Leo? Did you find a way?"

"Yes, I did find one way to revive dead people"- When I heard Leo saying this I smiled

"So what do we need?"

"Well, we need a part of her body, these pills can restore the body but I can't give it life with these purple pills, these yellow ones however can revive a dead person"- Leo was holding the 2 pills in his hand

"Well let's go to the grave then, her grave is nearby"- My father waved to Leo to follow him

"Don't try anything funny, I am respectful to you because of Preston, the only real reason Preston is there in the Circle with you is because of fear, Preston can kill all of you with one punch, unlike Preston you are a bastard, you have my warning"- Leo made a threatening voice

"We will see"- My father had a sinister tone this time

We walked to the grave of Bella. The atmosphere was getting colder, and the air thinner, I know this is one of the side effects of a certain skinwalker power. We arrived at the gravesite, we could all confirm and see that something was moving, but I can't see it

"I told you something!"- Aideen screamed at my father

"Well I wasn't expecting this"- My father seemed surprised by the circumstance

We tried to dig up Bella's bones

"I will be the first to dig"- Leo began to dig, he eventually found a wood-like structure, the wood structure was like a trapdoor, Leo almost fell but a significant time before Preston jumped in and saved him.

"You bastard!"- Preston looked at my father with hateful eyes

"This might be a mess up don't you think?"- I am confused about this. My father is an honorable man

"What is happening?"- I asked both of them while screaming

"This!"- Preston broke the trapdoor with his left foot, I forgot Preston and Leo are left-handed and footed, he uncovered a trap made out of silver, it will instantly kill a skinwalker

"That was meant for Ishna, I can explai...."- My father was grabbed by Preston

"Don't, ever, lie, to, me, like, this. I can read your mind. I am sick of you!"- Preston threw my father into a tree

"Stop!"- I got in front of my father, he was still standing, I don't know what will happen to him, I won't let anything happen to him

"Want to see"- Leo also looked Preston in the eyes

The memories

Both me and Leo were there

"Those are Hoga's true parents"- He screamed at 2 people, one tall woman, and a short man, both of them were Native American, the woman had big braids, and had muscles, the man was skinny and short.

"Well, what do you have here."- I wanted to scream when I saw my father there

"You won't do anything!"- The man tried to punch my father but he was burned, they couldn't get close

"I will get some enjoyment out of you 2"- My father wore a silver filled jacket, it kills skinwalkers slowly if worn by one, and they can't take it off either. I couldn't believe what he was doing. I tried to understand and rationalize

"Bastard"- The woman tried to hit him but again the jackets he wore stopped them.

My father smiled at them, he put the jackets on the 2 of them, both of them screamed in excruciating pain, only scream of horror, I could see in the memories, a child running in the distance. M father turned his head from the child and smiled while seeing the 2 skinwalkers screaming in pain

It shifts to another time, now in a dark room

"So you won't speak would you?"- My father had a syringe with a red solution, that was blood lily poison meant for vampire

"I don't know anything I told you!"- The vampire kid was scared, fear running in his bones, he was injected with this lethal poison, he was in great pain as the other ones, my father seemed to kill for pleasure

The scene shifts again he was now having a conversation with Ishna, wait how?

"Well you did good work"- Ishna congratulated my father

"Well don't kill my daughter and you will be fine"- My father seemed to be serious about this one

"Isn't it like you already did that with the other one. You could do that with this one."

"You are right here"

I got out of the memory realm back into real life

"You know they can manipulate your memory"- My dad was pleading with me

"Natasha, don't"- Nimi dragged me out to her side. She handed me a gun

"Stop there, you betrayed The Hunters"- Nimi aimed a gun at him, he seemed to drop his gun

I wanted to be faster but no, he shot Nimi in the head, I reacted on mere impulse, I shot my father in the head, he regenerated, he had healing pills on him

"160 remaining"- Preston looked at Leo

"I swear it was a firearm discharge"- My father looked shocked at the gun

"It wasn't"- Leo now had a gun pointed at his head

"Leo, please, don't. Don't kill him, you can still revive Nimi, maybe it is was a misfire and this is a misunderstanding"- Leo looked at me with a facial expression that seemed to agree with me

"Ok I will not kill him with a gun"- Leo lowered his gun

"Good"- My father was relieved

Leo was facing my father, Preston came near me

"Here"- He revived Nimi, I was so happy to see her alive

Leo started stabbing my father's heart 161 times, the last stab he died instantly. He was my most loved person. I remember what Aireen told me about people.

I could never see a thing like this coming. I could never imagine my father being the man that he was in his memories, I am in denial of anything that happened here. I want to scream

Preston in the rush found Bella's corpse, she was intact, but before we could revive her

"Well, he failed"- Ishna popped out the surrounding woods. He was charging at Leo, he was making itself intangible for most of the time

"You won't get away with ease this time"- Preston distracted Ishna as Leo rushed to Bella.

After a few hours of waiting I was still in shock due to the trauma, I can only replay it in my head, Leo, his face looked so disturbed when he was stabbing him. I wanted to make it stop.

Leo in the meantime revived Bella. Preston and Ishna were still battling, Ishna opened a portal typical to his powers, Arvo popped out of the portal, I didn't know how

"Here you are, and you come here too, attract"- Ishna pulled Leo closer to him

"Repulse"- Leo punched Ishna and he needed to use repulsion

"Reversal"- Leo used an ability of his to reverse repulsion and put Ishna to sleep with the nail, we couldn't do anything that he teleported in his dimension before the poison could take full effect

"It's great to be alive"- Bella looked around and saw me

"Where the heck?"- Arvo was questioning where he was

"Natasha, I am happy to see ya"- Bella hugged me, she was my sister, she was dead, she revived but at what cost, I lost my father

"Bella?"- Arvo walked slowly to Bella, he could not believe that he saw her there. Arvo kissed Bella when he got close enough

"Why?"- I could only mutter a single word. I was still in shock

"I don't know either"- Arvo looked at me with a surprised face

"Well our father killed me, that is it. I don't blame Leo for doing it, you are still in denial about this"- Bella had a warm and soothing tone

"Well, even if my father was like that, couldn't you save him from this? I want to just live a happy life, would you kill your father if he did the same things?"- I screamed as loud as I could at Leo

"I would kill anyone who would do this and can't be saved, and yes I already killed him a long time ago"- Leo put a smug smile on his face

"You are nothing more than a monster"

"Well it takes a monster to kill a monster, and hunters kill monsters, even those who are human"

Leo left the scene, leaving only me, Bella, and Arvo, they all gathered around me in a circle and hugged me, I was crying, I could not do anything I just cried myself to sleep, I couldn't do anything else. What first was supposed to be a good and happy life turned into a nightmare...
