I had trained for these 2 years(Andre and Irwin were 12 years old), after that Kapre hunt, I didn't know that I have a limited time of use, Amy didn't have a limit for Blood Arts
"Wake up Aireen!"- Amy was near my bed, she had a smile on her face.
"What now?"- I asked her
"Time for a new hunt! You are prepared enough now I think"- She smiled at me again
I got out of bed, had a shower, brushed my teeth.
I looked at Amy, she was playing with Andre and Irwin, they seemed happy. I am ready to do anything to defend them, to offer them a great life. I am a Hunter all right but there is a drawback, I might die anytime.
"Why do you look so worried mom?"- Andre and Irwin asked me
"Well, I am just tired"
"Well, we will go back to your grandparents in the following days"- Amy smiled at them
I got ready, I didn't know where the hunt was taking place exactly but what I understood from her, it takes place in Manila again
"So, Amy, where exactly are we going?"- I whispered to her
"A village near Manila, it isn't marked on any maps, we had to deal with a Mannangal"
I knew that Mannangal were male or female that can detach their torso at night to feed on the blood of people
"How are we hunting it?"- I asked Amy with concern
"A Mannangal can detach and reattach its torso, they have a bonus structure that grants them this ability. They are not vulnerable to ash or salt, but red blood lily and silver, they work on all vampires"- Amy got a flower from her pocket, it was red, the petals seemed big and tall, even the stem was red
"Vampires, red blood lily?"- I was shocked when I heard it
"Yes, Mannangal, Aswang, Demonic Vampire, European Vampires, and American Vampires, all of these species of Vampires are weak to this, these are all the species of Vampire that exist. Mannangals are vampires also, like you and me, so we should handle the blood lily with care, the fluid from the petals is poisonous to vampires"
"So, I will be packing the bags now, and please be careful with the red blood lily Amy!"- I was packing the bags with the clothes that I and my children had. As I remember Amy told them that they will stay at my parents
Andre and Irwin were always asking me questions. They were tiring out eventually, I had them on a leave from school for this Hunt, maybe I will move to the Philippines again. We boarded the plane, the trip wasn't that different from the last one we had. I just looked at Andre and Irwin, they were restless as always
I fell asleep for the whole flight, Amy also carried me to a taxi this time too
"Yes, to Manila outskirts please"- Amy had a sweet voice
"We will take you there, don't worry"- The taxi driver was willing to take us there, but like before something was in the way
"I hear something in the trunk, and don't worry humans can't usually hear sounds this quiet as vampires can, can you also hear it?"- Amy whispered in the quietest tone possible
I hear a scream like someone was not able to speak due to a gag. Amy used the Transparent World Blood Art, I used it too, I took a look at the trunk of the car which look unusually huge for a small taxi. I saw a child tied, with her mother next to her.
"Don't tell anyone, we will play after him, he tries to do the same with us, he now will try it, that isn't the same street. Fake that you were looking at your phone or something"
"Sir, about the buildings here, they seem new and tidy for the outskirts"- Amy looked at him
"Well, yes in 2 years it had gotten modern, and one thing, there is a tire that popped just now, and I have to change some handlebars, please step out of the car when I tell you"- The man stopped the car
We had stepped out, he got out of the car too, he was about to open the trunk, he got back into the car
"Get ready"- Amy looked at me
He had a bottle of chloroform in his hands, hidden. He tried it on Amy, she had purposely got down to look at the tire with me, he had used the 2 tissues to put us to sleep, well that does not work on a vampire apparently
"This should be enough"- He mutters after me and Amy fake this, Amy was with her face looking at him
"It isn't"- Amy rose, now she was even taller, it seems that she can also shrink and grow
"What the hell!"- He was frightened
I opened the trunk and freed the woman and the kid
The man tried stabbing Amy in the throat, the blood splashed him, Amy's wound closed in 3 seconds
"Blood Arts: Majestic Flaming Blood!"- The man was on fire, it burned with intensity, he couldn't even scream, he turned into Ash in 30 seconds, the woman and the were still in shock. My kids were still in the car, they were scared
"Thanks, Amy, that was great"- The girl was happy when she saw Amy
"Well, Shannon, try not to get in a mess like this again, ok?"- Amy comforted the kid
"Yes, Aireen, Shannon here is a guide for Hunters, and by the way, I am also a Guide and an active Higher Hunter, you are of a rank of a lower Hunter currently, you will go up. Now we should get going until someone finds out"
"Don't worry Amy, I already have a hotel booked and money, take care Amy!"- Shannon had turned an alley corner with her kid.

"Well, come in then"- My mom was a bit weirded out
"Sorry, but we can't disclose much on this one, but for short, it is a humanitarian mission/assignment we got, we have a little village near here to help"-
"I think I know which village you are talking about, people are complaining that a Mannangal is attacking them, yesterday they saw a floating female outline in the sky, only the torso was visible"- My mom shivered while saying this, I was surprised my mom knew about this
"What is your name?"- Amy asked my mom
"Alisha, why?"- My mom asked Amy
"Alisha, that Alisha that is the best vampire biologist, a Watcher over Manila?"- Amy asked her
"I don't know you from anywhere"
"I am Amy, you don't remember me, it only had been 40 years!"- Amy seemed to be a little child when she heard that my mom does not remember her
"Wait, 40 years? You look as young as ever!"- My mom seemed confused
"I am a vampire you know! I remain young regardless"- Amy pouted
"Ohhh, so that makes you both Hunters I guess, take care of my daughter please"- My mom begged Amy
"Vampires can take care of themselves quite well"
"Well, Amy my daughter is not a vampire"- My mom looked at me with a grim
"I am an Aswang, still a vampire tho"
"Aswang?"- My mom was shocked to hear that
"And the fire had run out"- Amy pointed to the stove my mom used to cook
"Not again, I have no tinder to light it"- My mom was a little sad to see the food go cold
"Blood arts: Flaming Blood!"- I used my blood arts to light the remaining fire

"Yes mom, I had been on missions all this time"
"Well, if Andre and Irwin can stay at you we will be grateful"- Amy was looking at the still cooking food
"You must wait a little bit longer for the food."
"And Andre and Irwin are Lycans"- Amy told my mom
"Lycans?"- My mom seemed shocked to hear this
"Mom, aunt Amy"- Andre and Irwin hugged the both of us
"You 2 trouble makers, you keep wasting Preston's magic powders"- Amy scolded the 2 of them for apparently toying with Prestons magic powders
"Preston?"- My mom was surprised to hear his name
"Yes, he is the fight fighter in the whole organization"
"I wish to be a vampire now, you get to live forever"
"Well, you can't do anything about it now"- Andre and Irwin were taunting Amy
"I will come and get you!"- Amy was now playing with Andre and Irwin
"We will spend the night here mum, but dad?"- I could not find dad anywhere
"I am here in the room!"- He shouted like his usual self
My dad exited the room, he look at me and Amy
"Amy, it had been 40 years"
"You remember!"- Amy looked at my mom again
"Well, Hunter huh. Never thought you will be a Hunter."- Dad smiled
"Well I am a Hunter but now I will have to go tonight.to hunt the Mannangal"
"Well just be careful, rest here and we will take of Andre and Irwin"
"Thanks for the food mom"
"Very good food ma'am"- Amy was sitting near me eating
"I put them to sleep with Blood Arts: Sleeping Miasma. I can use it to put almost anything to sleep so we can rest for at least some hours. Don't worry it is child friendly"- Amy was smiling. My mom looked at her. She was eating everything so fast, she instantly fell asleep after eating, I carried her over to the bed
3 hours a later night was upon us
"Mom, we have to go"
"Ok, take care you 2"- Mom waved to the 2 of us
"Ok, now that we are outside, we have 10 km to run, so prepare, you have to keep up with me"- Amy began to run as fast as ever, I can now barely keep up with her.
We had reached the village in about 30 minutes
"Ok, now to search around the village"- Amy questioned some people
"Hello sir, can I ask you if it id safe here?"- Amy asked a tall blonde man
"No, I can't say but is better to get back to your home, and get some AAAA AAAA......"- The man gulped, he was pointing to something at the window of the house, we saw a black figure, a torso, that was the Mannangal
"Thank you, we will take care of it"- Amy smiled rushing with her claws at it
"Don't it is too dangerous!"- The man shouted after us
"Don't worry it is vampire vs vampire"- Amy shouted at him again
I also rushed into the battle
"Blood Arts: Transparent World!"- Both I and Amy use the transparent world: Blood Art
"Follow it to the torso, we will burn it there!"- Amy commanded me
"Will do, watch out for the ground, don't trip"- I warned Amy. We had reached its torso. The Mannangal was Male
"I just hate that I can't feast in peace, what did you say? Vampire vs Vampire?"- He was taunting us
"Maybe"- Amy lunged at his torso and sure enough his torso fell off and she needed to fly
"Blood Arts: Flaming blood!"- The torso light up, but my blood art wasn't strong enough
"Aireen, you take his flying body"- Amy was getting ready to burn his lower half but he reattached it while we were talking
"Dam it, he moves too fast"- Amy was moving after him
"Think Aireen think, something that can help me defeat him. Slow them down, motion, slow it down"- I accidentally poked my eyes
"Slow it, slow it, slow it, slow it, slow it, slow it, slow it!"-After 2 minutes I could perceive his attacks in slow motion
"Amy, you burn the lower half, I got this, I think I made or discovered new blood art, I can see him in slow motion!"- I shouted at Amy
"Blood Arts: Blood Clones!. Here is some help for you!"- Amy made 3 blood clones to help me fight
"Do you think those are enough?"- He disposed of the clones quickly
"Of course"- Amy smirked again
"Blood Arts: Crimson..."
"I got you!"- The Mannangal could not use any blood and because of me, I was blocking him from using them.
"Blood Arts: Crimson Diamonds!"- Amy's blood created sharp diamond with crimson color, she threw one at the Mannangal and she managed to pin him to a tree, I dropped him she threw it
"Blood Arts: Majestic Exploding Flame!"- his lower half was blown up and burned
"Blood Arts: Flaming blood!"- I tried burning its main body
"That does not work"- Amy got up to him
She removed the crystal from him, she had cut her head with the crystal. He was dead after a long last
I and Amy had run back to the Manila outskirts where I lived, we had been battling for 3 hours
"Mom we are back!"- I shouted while entering the house, I had gone straight to bed, I was tired, oh well, at least I didn't faint for a week this time
"Don't mind us, we will just sleep here"- Amy had also fallen asleep
"Ok make yourself comfortable you 2"- My mom smiled at us one more time
"One more thing mom, I am moving here!"- I can finally sleep for real, my dream had become true, at least some of it
"You are always welcomed here!"- My mom was gentle as always, like the time I was a kid. I have the best mom in the world
