"Is it truly necessary man? I mean Axel is a lovable guy even if he seems a bit dangerous."(Matthew)

Matthew asked his brother William who was sitting in the backseat with a strained expression, for which William sighed while he replied,

"It's not a matter of whether Axel is a good guy or not, but more about Young miss's interest in his case."(William)

"Yeah it is really weird, miss has never done something like this before. Boss must be quite jealous~"(Matthew)

Matthew tried to joke but William wasn't in the mood. He just furrowed his brows and looked out of the window; staring distantly,

"Can't call it jealousy-"(William)

William paused for a moment to look at the sleeping Axel and smiled helplessly, then he shifted his gaze towards Matthew and said,

"Jealousy is the relative of greed, we seem to focus more on our desires and lose sight of what we truly need."(William)

"..."(Matthew)

Matthew became silent after listening to William's words, then he heard William say again,

"It is more of an obsession than jealousy. Jealousy is a feeling but obsession is a disease which will devour him soon, his days are numbered."(William)

Matthew listened quietly; he suddenly smiled and said,

"You sound like a scholar bro."(Matthew)

"*laugh* I at least wanted to be one."(William)

"Bro but you know that we are in the same boat, don't you? If his days are numbered then, so are ours."(Matthew)

For Matthew's query, William just let out a laugh and patted on Matthew's shoulder, and said,

"Then we just have to increase his days or find a bigger boat."(William)

They chatted for a while and soon arrived at their destination,

*Creak*

Matthew and William looked at each other, William checked if Axel was still asleep. Matthew slowly muttered,

"Brother."(Matthew)

Hearing Matthew's tensed cry, William faintly smiled and said,

"Brother go out and get a shovel or something, I don't want to burn him, we will at least give him a proper burial."(William)

Matthew nodded solemnly and got out,

William looked at sleeping Axel and thought,

(What I want to be, and what I have become..)

He reminisced about the happy days and innocent life of the past and,

Tears started welling down in his eyes and his fragile eyelids couldn't contain them,

(Where have I gone wrong...)

He slowly took out a knife and held it while looking at Axel. His hand, his entire body was trembling,

(Han - Gyeol, you said that I can find light in your darkness-)

His mind was racing as he slowly moved the knife towards Axel's throat,

(But it has only pierced my heart with tragedy and pain.)

He wiped his tears with his left hand and put on a determined expression,

"Sorry Axel I never wanted to do this, but please die for me."(William)

Then Axel suddenly opened his eyes and grinned!

William got panicked and tried to attack him, but Axel grabbed his hand and burst a balloon like thing in William's eyes,

"Aaaaaaahhhhh..."(William)

William screamed in agony and twisted his body, Axel took the knife from his hands and stabbed him in the stomach, while Matthew who heard William's voice ran towards the car anxiously and opened the door,

*Vooooosh**drip**Cut*

Axel advanced quickly and cut Matthew's right eye when he opened the door, Axel kicked him but Matthew didn't budge because of his huge frame, Axel just cursed,

"Fuck!!!"(Axel)

Axel pushed Matthew with all his might and got out of the car, he punched and kicked at Matthew's face and crotch because he can hardly inflict any damage at the remaining places,

"Aw..Aaaahh stop it"(Matthew)

"You motherfuckers!!! you first act chummy with me and try to kill me later, you may a reason behind it but I don't give a shit, 'cause my life is my priority ."(Axel)

*kick*

"Pl..e..as.e.st..op"(Matthew)

Axel moved a huge rock and put it on Matthew's belly, he also cut the tendons of his legs and stabbed him in multiple places of his body, Matthew screamed in pain and begged for mercy but it didn't move Axel one bit.

"Aaaahhhhhh"

"Arghhhhhhh"

*boom*

The door opened and William slowly came out groaning and crying,

*punch*

Axel ruthlessly punched him in the face and kicked him, William was somewhat weaker than Matthew so Axel easily overpowered him. After making sure that they can't move anything else in their other than their mouths, Axel just slumped down and looked at his surroundings and noticed that he was in an abandoned warehouse or something of the sort, he laughed and exclaimed aloud,

"What a purple street! there is nothing purple here."(Axel)

Axel laughed, while he heard William's groans and curses,

"What did you put in my eyes you psycho bastard! it pains more than stab wounds."(William)

Axel then sat upright and said with a sarcastic smile,

"I had a hunch that you bastards were surely up to something, luckily I found two brats fucking in the washroom, they were just middle schoolers so there is no way they will do it raw."(Axel)

Axel stopped midway and saw that the expression of William worsened and continued,

"I took a condom from them, and put whatever trash I found in the washroom in it, including my piss*laugh*"(Axel)

"You son of a bitch!!!!*cough**drip*"(William)

William got enraged by Axel's ways and cursed him, which made him cough blood, on the other hand, Matthew grew silent after a while and he turned his grotesque face towards Axel and asked him,

"You are a student right? Why are you so strong? "(Matthew)

Facing Matthew's question Axel just smiled and said,

"My old man was a great businessman, he had many enemies in his prime who wanted us dead. Once I got kidnapped where I learned a hard but useful rule for my survival."(Axel)

Axel got up and moved towards Matthew; he crouched down near him and said this while looking into his eyes,

"Destroy what destroys you."(Axel)

Matthew stares at him blankly then averted his eyes towards his brother and said,

"But we didn't destroy you"(Matthew)

for which he replied,

"I am a bit different, I will even destroy what tries to destroy me too."(Axel)

"You sound a like a scholar"(Matthew)

Axel heard it and replied as he smiled,

"You said the same thing to your brother too."(Axel)

"Yeah, you were awake all the way didn't you?"(Matthew)

"Of course"(Axel)

Matthew sighed and stopped talking because he was in pain. Then he heard William say,

"Rather than that why don't you ask why we wanted to kill you."(William)

For that Axel looked at William and said,

"It is not that difficult to guess, you know? That Han-Gyeol must be your boss, he has something you desire and you guys became his henchmen for it. That guy must have high status in the Blaze. It is your first time killing someone, you didn't even drug me or tie me up; you guys are just novices. There seems to be more than one faction in the Blaze, Derek must belong to another faction from you guys, so your boss didn't pull any moves in the presence of Derek. He tried to kill me silently through you, I reckon that he has already sent someone as back up."(Axel)

William got astonished by Axel's analysis, he noticed that Axel shifted his gaze towards Matthew as he spoke,

"You get devoured by your desire if you get obsessed with it-"(Axel)

Axel stopped midway and tried to intimidate him,

"You get it now, right? little old Matt *grin*"(Axel)

Axel let out chilly laughter which froze Matthew right to his bone.
