After getting the halberd, Luis goes to the dungeon every day. He wants to get familiar with the sensation of a halberd before he goes exploring the dungeon with Evan and Erika. In the end, Evan and Erika decided to go on Saturday.

Thursday, 3 September. The twelfth floor of Goldensand Dungeon

In front of Luis are a group of four goblins. Luis moves first by stabbing the goblin on the rightmost. As usual, it is easily dodged. Luis then swings his halberd from right to left.

"Hit!"

The axe blade hit the leftmost goblin on the neck, it died instantly. Following that Luis tried to pull the spear back, he tried to hit the second goblin from the left with the hook.

Missing his attack, Luis jumps a little to the back.

"Let's stop for today, I think this is enough training. Hitting with the hook is still hard but the other movement like stabbing and swinging is not that different from when using the spear." Luis murmured. He picked up all the mana stones that the goblins dropped before going toward the surface of the dungeon.

Again, Luis is waiting alone in front of the dungeon. This time, he is the one that comes too early. Having nothing to do he played with his phone.

"Hey Luis, long time no see," a woman voice is heard calling Luis.

Luis knows this voice, coupled with her habit of talking fast, there is only one person, "Yo Erika, long time no see. Hmm? You come here alone? Where is Evan?"

"He will be a little late, so I come here first."

This woman is Erika. She is Evan's girlfriend since who knows when. Different from Evan that has a big and tall body, Erika has a short body so when she stands beside Evan it looks interesting. The good thing is both of them don't really care about that height difference.

"Today is a little hot right?" Erika said while tidying her short black hair.

"Is it really? I don't really know." Luis puts his phone in the sling bag he brings. He glanced at the weapon that Erika brings, "So you still use the bow huh…"

"Yup, it is the only weapon I can do. And your weapon is…" Erika looked at the pole that Luis brought. The head of the pole is wrapped in cloth so that it can't injure other people when being carried.

"Oh~ So this is the halberd… I heard about it from Evan. Last week you changed your weapon from spear right? He also said that he got a good sword for free, is that true? If possible I also want some good weapon for free." Erika said all of this with her fast-style speech. Luis always smiled whenever he hears Erika speak like this, which is most of the time, so Luis smiled most of the time when Erika is nearby.

"Erika!" Zea's shout is heard by both Luis and Erika. Not having any patience to meet Erika, Zea runs toward Erika with her arms open. Every time her leg landed on the ground her ponytail jumped from left to right. *hug* Zea hugged Erika when she reached the place Luis is sitting. The height difference between Zea and Erika makes them looks like a sibling. The taller Zea can be seen as the older sister, while Erika is the younger sister.

"Zea, if I am not wrong, you are younger than Erika right?" asked Luis.

"Yup, I am the same age as Erin. Ah, Erin is Erika's little sister, she is my friend in high school."

After a few seconds of hugging, Zea released the hug and sit down nearby. "So we will wait for Erika's boyfriend?"

Erika answered, "Yes, he said he will be late. But I don't know when he will come."

"Then, let's chat for a bit," said Zea with a big smile on her face.

Both of them chatted while Luis can only play with his smartphone, trying to not listen to the conversation. It is 30 minutes after that Evan comes to this place.

Peaceful floor, the 13th floor of the Goldensand Dungeon.

"So last week, we found the cabin around this area," Zea said to Erika and Evan. "But today there are no traces of the cabin at all. Is this the famous thing called dungeon magic?"

"Are you sure that you found a cabin here? You sure that is not imagination?" Erika teases Zea a little.

"I am pretty sure we come here last week. Right Luis? Or… it is just a dream of mine and the thing really didn't happen?"

"It obviously is not a dream," said Luis. "[Glowing Orb]"

A little orb is hovering around Luis, emitting light around the surrounding.

"This is the skill that we got… And it is true that the cabin should be located around here."

The group has arrived on the thirteenth floor. They found no problem navigating the first twelve floors. Most monsters that they found along the way got killed by Evan using his new sword.

"Should we look around this place more?" suggest Luis.

"No need. Let's go further," said Evan.

Evan once again moves toward the next floor. The fourteenth floor is a dry land that houses many kinds of lizards. The dry land itself is not huge, someone can walk from one side to the other in 30 minutes. Many kinds of lizards live here from the normal animal of desert lizards to monster lizards like fire lizards or rock lizards.

"As expected, there are many people here. Looks like they are all searching for the Fire Lizard." Erika commented when she sees that many people are wandering around on this floor.

"What is fire lizard?" Zea asked, this is the first time she come here so she didn't know about the fire lizard.

"Fire Lizard is one kind of lizard that spawn here. They are famous as they commonly dropped fire essences, an item that is used in many alchemical recipes." Erika answered Zea's question.

Luis added, "This fire essence is also used in enchantment, your dagger is enchanted with it. Remember?"

"Hmm… Is that so? I don't really remember." Putting her right hand on her chin, she tried to remember. "Well… it doesn't matter, so that fire essence comes from the fire lizard?"

Luis wanted to make Zea remember when Evan suddenly stopped, "There is a fire lizard there, want to try battling?"

The lone fire lizard has a length of around 30 cm, a normal size for this kind of lizard. The bigger one can reach a length of 2 meters.

Zea runs toward the lizard before the lizard can notice, she uses the [Hot Blade] and slices its neck.

"Is the fire lizard weak?" Zea comes to a conclusion.

"Yes, they are weak, but they can escape very fast. It is easy as long as we can kill them before they noticed. Also when a fire lizard noticed a danger, their head will burn," said Erika moving her fingers around her head demonstrating the burning.

"Burn? Head?"

Seeing that Zea is confused, Luis steps in to explain. "To be precise not the head but the frill around the head."

He then moves toward the lizard corpse that has not been dematerialized. "Look, there is a frill here right? Fire will come from these frills in order to scare their opponent."

The fire lizard then turned into particles, leaving only a few mana stones.

"Unlucky~ There is no fire essence dropped," said Erika. She then asked Zea, "Want to look for another fire lizard?"

"I think it is okay—"

"Nice. Then let's go to the next floor." Evan cut Zea and said this in a loud voice. "I can't wait to see how this sword really fares. Goblin is not a good way to test this sword."
