The creature broke out of it's ice chamber and began attacking the group

Yuri plunged the knife into it's chest and Lev ran up and drove his knife into it's temple

After they got back to base they saw shattered glass and dead scientists all with their insides replaced with rocks, glass and other various items

The glass holding Macov back was completely shattered 

Vlad: Macov escaped 

Lev: shit shit shit we need to call Commander Ivan and let him know the situation
