"Pierson POV"
It had been a few days since Zenez had a rematch with Kogu
Pierson called Zenez And Zenez picked up
Pierson: hey... bud?
Zenez: we both know "bud" isn't your thing
Pierson: yeah. Anyways I have everything set up are you free?
Zenez: why not. I need to do something to get my mind off of everything that happened
Pierson: the media is gonna be all over you
Zenez: they already are
"Flashback to that day"
After Zenez had won against Kogu reporters surrounded him
Reporters overlapped each other with questions
Zenez jumped on one of the reporters shoulders and jumped over the others and ran as fast as he could
The reporters couldn't catch up to Zenez though
"Present"
Pierson: I'll be there in a bit bud
Pierson hung up
5 minutes later Pierson was honking his horn
Zenez headed out and got in
Pierson started the car and drove
Pierson: soooooooo
Zenez looked at him
Pierson: you kiss any cute girls lately?
Zenez: is that the best question you could think of?
Pierson: yeah
Zenez: asking how the weather is is a much better question
Pierson: how's the weather?
Zenez: Jesus Christ
Zenez pulled out his phone and started smiling
Pierson: who ya texting?
Zenez: Sora
Pierson: I thought you hated her?
Zenez: I wouldn't have gone on a date with her if I hated her
Pierson: you went on a date with her?
Zenez: don't you keep tabs on every single hunter like ever?
Pierson: well I figured I'd give you privacy
The car went silent
Pierson: so you have been kissing cute girls lately
Zenez: shut up
Pierson chucked in response
They got to the mini golf place and exited the car
As they were walking to the entry area Pierson said
Pierson: you ready to get your ass kicked?
Zenez: you wish old man
They both laughed as they walked in
After getting a ball and a Golf club they walked to the course
Zenez: your gonna lose
Pierson: I see I raised a cocky kid
When they got to the first hole Pierson said
Pierson: you go first cuz your so good
Zenez: gladly
Zenez put his ball on the small hole and hit it
It rolled right next to the hole
Pierson: HAHAHA looks like your not as good as you thought
Zenez glared at the ball and it fell in
Zenez: I think I am
He said with a grin
Pierson: smug bastard
He said with a chuckle
Hole after hole Zenez was demolishing Pierson
He didn't care though he was just happy to be with his son
As Zenez was moving to the final hole Pierson had the thought
Pierson: I can't believe I neglected this
By the end Zenez had beat Pierson by 50
Pierson: I didn't think you'd be that good
Zenez: I've always been good at golfing
Pierson: clearly
As they headed home Zenez said
Zenez: it's weird seeing you actually care about me
Pierson thought back to what Daniel said
Daniel: just apologize and pray
Pierson: listen... I'm really sorry
Zenez: I didn't think I'd say this but... I forgive you dad
Pierson: no... listen... I ruined your life. Even if your happy I still forced you into a life of murder. Everyday you risk your life because I was a selfish asshole. If I could go back in time and give you a normal life I would do it in a heartbeat.
Zenez: sometimes I wish the same thing
The car went quiet
Pierson: anyways... we're here
Zenez: right... I'll see you later dad. Love you
Pierson smiled and said
Pierson: I love you too bud
