The goblins weren't understanding what their boss was doing but they still stood silently across him.

After checking his urja and power levels, Ben wanted to try creating his own skills and abilities because he wanted to test how much urja it took to create them, and to also see whether his spent urja would recover on its own with time.

He turned his head to look at the goblins and thought 'Can I make them my subordinates?'

He saw that the system could only acknowledge one subordinate for now and felt some pity.

'If I could take in a large number of subordinates through the system, then won't I quickly increase in strength? With the system limiting this function, it almost seems like I am being nerfed!'

Ding!

The moment he thought of this the system interface appeared in front of his face with some white text paragraphs.

[The system is directly connected to your body and is as vulnerable as the owner.

Subordinates' limit would increase with the increase in the owner's strength.

The system isn't some powerful or omnipotent being, it has many limits right now due to the owner's weak strength.

It won't be able to share its abilities with multiple people at the same time. It also can't control or affect many subordinates due to the owner's weak mind and spirit.]

'Oh….so it is because of me? As I am too weak right now…..and this system is connected to my lion body? Wait… First of all, how did I even become a lion?'

All this thinking made his head hurt which prompted him to stop thinking about this.

'I should first make the system acknowledge one of these goblins as my subordinate.'

He raises his head and chooses a random goblin from the three, before ordering him/her to come closer.

The chosen goblin hurriedly reached Ben, and bowed down like some inferior being.

Seeing his/her attitude, Ben felt a bit weird but also felt satisfied due to his/her sincerity.

'Is this goblin eligible to become my subordinate?'

Ding!

[ Yes, this goblin is eligible. Accept/Decline?]

Seeing the option beside the text, Ben tapped on the accept button and waited for the system to finish its work.

[Please touch the goblin with your hand/Paw.]

Seeing the prompt Ben moved forward and touched the goblin.

The chosen goblin was just wondering why his boss was touching his head when suddenly! he felt some weird power invading his body!

Ki! ki! Ka!

The goblin felt suffocated for a while, only after a few minutes later was he able to calm down and breathe properly.

After making sure that the goblin was fine, Ben asked whether he felt something different from before, and got replied with a 'no' from the goblin.

'Hm...I wonder what kind of power or talent he got…'

Ding!

[The goblin was given 'Mana blast' skill. Do you want to name your subordinate?]

'Mana blast?...sounds cool, is it like Kamesameha? Or ratengan or Chidoriiii?. Oh right...I should also name my nameless subordinates….'

He looked at the goblin with the Mana blast skill "From now on you will be called 'Bob'. "

After naming his system acknowledged Subordinate, he turned to see the other two goblins expectantly staring at him. It seems like they also wanted a pie of what their partner was being given.

"You left one will be called Pop, and the right one will be called Job. Don't worry about what I have done to your partner here, just know that it is beneficial to you, and I will do that to you two as well but not now."

Hearing their boss' words, the two goblins became silent, they were a bit sad and jealous.

They didn't understand what the boss did to their partner but they were sure that it must be something incredible!.

Ding!

[ Does the owner want to infuse his urja while naming them?]

'Huh, what happens if I Infuse my urja while naming them?'

[Their physical and inner Abilities will be enhanced permanently. The system doesn't advise using urja for naming them as the owner is very weak and has a low amount of urja.]

'Ok, don't use my urja then.'

He felt that this naming thing was very similar to a certain anime he used to watch back on earth.

After naming the other two goblins, Ben carefully read Bob's given skill.

[Mana blast: Gathering a large amount of mana and releasing it to create a blast.

Currently unusable by Bob because of the very low amount of mana inside his body.]

'As expected, it is that type of attack...and there is mana in this world? Why do I not have it?'

A text appeared to explain.

[ Your body and spirit aren't compatible with this world's mana energy, and Owner isn't able to absorb mana in his body. Owner can create an attack using urja energy through the system.]

'So this body isn't suitable for mana? But I am able to use Urja? What is mana and urja anyway? Can you tell me?'

The system again responded to his question with white text appearing on the system screen.

[ Mana is an energy, urja is also an energy but they have different forms. Urja can be converted to Mana. Not only mana, the system can also convert urja to any kind of energy, but can't convert other energies into Urja. In this way owner can create various types of energy based ability or skill using urja through the creation function of the system.]

After reading the long paragraph, Ben felt excited for about a minute before he calmed down. After calming down he asked about Bob's ability.

'How would Bob be able to use his ability if he doesn't have mana right now? How does the power system even work here? Does everyone here use mana? Or do they have some evolutionary methods that increase their physical abilities? Like hobgoblin, Goblin mage etc etc.'

To his question the system replied with,

[If Bob ever kills someone or something, the system would absorb it's urja and convert it into mana before storing a considerable amount of it for Bob to use his Mana blast ability, most of the converted mana will be used to increase the physical qualities of Bob, and a small amount of unconverted urja would be transferred to the owner.

As for the specific knowledge of this world, the system also has no knowledge of it. Owner would have to find out for himself.]

'Sigh….quite complicated but still very convenient, guess I will have to find out for myself….but first I should try creating an ability or a skill.'

Ben left all the complicated things for now and looked excited to create an ability or skill for himself.

'System, tell me which takes more urja to create? A skill? or an ability?'

[Abilities take more urja as after creating them the owner would require very less Urja to use them. Skills on the other hand take a low amount of urja to create, but to use them you would have to keep spending your urja.]

'Ok, one more question, would my urja recover on its own after spending them to create something?'

[Yes, the owner just has to eat lots of food to recover from the urja loss. If the owner wants to expand his urja or power quantity then you just have to kill and absorb other's urja from their bodies. Owner can also absorb urja from some special equipment or materials.]

After reading all this information from the system screen/Interface, Ben fell deep in thoughts for a while.

'Hm..let me first check how much it takes to create a limited ability, if it takes too much urja..then I will simply create a skill of that ability.'

After deciding what he would create, Ben tapped on the create option and a screen with blank space pooped up.

[Think of what type of ability you want to create. The description should be detailed with no baseless ideas.]

He wanted to create a fire type ability for now as there are many dead bodies of animals in front of him. If they didn't do anything then some other wild animals may come over and start feasting on them.

Ben wanted to eat some of these dead animals to recover his urja energy after creating his first ability or skill. Since he could roast them with fire, Ben decided to create a fire type ability or skill. This would be useful for his current situation.

'How should I describe my ability?....maybe I could try imagining some fire based abilities from anime?'

He closed his eyes and thought of a certain anime character.

Ping!

The system made a sound, it seems like it was carefully analysing Ben's consciousness.

Slowly the blank screen began filling up with white texts.

[ Extracting data…]

[ Fire ability...flame thrower… not specified….extracting more data from the owner…]

[ Extraction complete...creating fire attribute…..Transfer it to owner's body with 40 urja? Yes/No]

Ben opened his eyes and saw the sentences on the screen.

'Just 40 urja? It is way less than I expected'

The system explained why it is like that [The ability isn't something complicated to create, and its force won't be too strong with the current quantity of urja and power levels of the owner.]

Ben was enlightened after reading this 'So it is because of this…'

Now, without further ado he tapped on the yes option on the screen.

The moment he did that, something happened.

In some dark space inside Ben's consciousness, two sparks appeared before colliding, and creating a small fire. This fire disappeared from Ben's consciousness and reappeared before being forcefully mixed within Ben's body.

Roar!

Ben felt some heat and pain inside his body, he felt suffocated and couldn't control himself before roaring loudly to his side!

BrrrrrOooooh!

The moment he roared, a beam of fire was thrown out of his mouth like a flame thrower!

"Ki ki! Ku!"

"Kak! Ku!"

"Boss can create fire!"

Ben wasn't paying attention for now so he didn't notice that somehow he was able to understand the words of one of the goblins.

His attention was fully focused on his newly created ability 'Flame thrower' that he derived from an anime called P*kemon.

He was shocked just now 'I can't believe that I can throw out flame thrower just like charmander.....this system….is amazing as hell bruh!'

He disregarded the weird feeling in his throat, and kept spewing out fire for a while.
