The man licked Bai Xing's chest, "You smell delicious."

"U-Uwaa!!!"

Bai Xing kicked the man away in reflex and anxiously covered his body with his blanket. The man rolled off the bed.

W-W-What was wrong with this man??? Was his head broken? Was he not sober enough from losing too much blood?? Or…Or maybe he was a cannibal?? Was there a cannibal in this world!? Dwarves existed here, so why wouldn't a cannibal? Was he trying to eat him?? Raw? He wasn't going to get grilled alive, was he!?

Seeing the man getting up, Bai Xing jumped off the bed in panic. Unfortunately, the door was blocked by the man, so he could only plaster himself to the wall.

The man's menacing eyes stared at Bai Xing, making the latter shuddered. Not to mention, his black hair that was as wild as a lion's mane and stubble on his chin made him look even fiercer.

They were stuck in a stalemate when Bai Xing noticed the blood seeping into the gauze on the man's abdomen, where he kicked earlier. The man saw where Bai Xing was looking and lowered his gaze to check.

"T-T-That…" Bai Xing braved himself to speak though his body was still trembling, "T-Treat…first." He pointed at the cabinet where he kept the medical kit from last night.

"…"

The man turned to look at where Bai Xing was pointing. He left the bedroom and sat down on the couch.

Bai Xing nervously stood at the doorframe. Seeing the man sitting there silently, he finally went to take out the medical kit and fixed the man's wound. It was a harder challenge for him now that the man was awake and was staring at him.

With willpower, Bai Xing quickly finished redressing the wound. He stood up to wash his hands, but the man caught his wrist and pulled him down. Bai Xing bumped into his chest and fell onto his lap.

"!?"

The man locked Bai Xing in place with his arms. He breathed in the crook of Bai Xing's neck before resuming his licking from before, "Tell me your name."

Although the situation was very different, Bai Xing felt an inexplicable sense of Deja vu. Not to mention his voice…

Unlike the first time, he immediately answered and tried to free himself, "W-White…"

He thought that after getting his name the man would let him go, but he didn't. Instead, the man dropped him to the couch and loomed over him. Bai Xing's back and forehead sweated cold, not knowing what the man wanted to do.

"I-I-I need to g-go…" Bai Xing whimpered pitifully, "P-Please don't e-eat me…"

The man slipped his hand into Bai Xing's shirt and felt up his shivering skin, "You are indeed enticing me to do so."

Bai Xing, "!!!"

"Why did you help me if you're so scared of me? Moreover, bringing me, a stranger, into your home. Have your parents never taught you to not trust strangers?" the man stared at Bai Xing hungrily, "I want to do many bad things to you right now."

Bai Xing flinched as the man's thumb pressed against the perk on his left chest. He grabbed the man's wrist, wanting to pull it away, "D-Don't touch…th-there…"

The man squinted and rubbed against it again with controlled pressure. Bai Xing's throat bobbed as the friction gave a tingling sensation to his body. When the man flicked his hardened bud, he twitched from the shock coursing through his body as his toes curled.

Bai Xing inwardly scolded himself for playing with that part of his body every time he relieved his sexual urge. Now they became more sensitive than average.

The man watched in fascination as Bai Xing writhed under him.

"I want to do many bad things to you…" the man bit down at the perk through Bai Xing's shirt and nibbled on it briefly, making the other gasp. He then backed away and retrieved back his sinful hand, "But more than that, I want to repay you for your help."

In the end, it was decided that the man would follow Bai Xing to the goddess statue. Bai Xing didn't really have any say in it. The man sat down behind Bai Xing on the horse and held him firmly.

Once they set out, the man finally introduced himself.

"Call me Grey. I'm an experienced hunter. You can trust your safety on me."

"…"

Bai Xing turned to look at Grey. Grey's hair was now pulled back into a tight bun, exposing his face. Bai Xing couldn't see any resemblance this Grey has with the previous Grey except for his height and his menacingly sharp eyes. But even that, although the original Grey has sharp eyes, they weren't this fierce.

Oh, and also their perverseness…

Though this Grey could be worse than the original Grey.

Grey noticed Bai Xing was staring and looked back, "What is it?"

Bai Xing shifted his gaze away and shook his head.

Grey's hold tightened and fixed Bai Xing's shrinking back, "When riding a horse, you must have proper posture. If not, you'll be prone to fall off from your horse. Not to mention, your horse is not wearing a saddle. It's important to balance your body."

Along their way, Grey taught him the correct way to ride a horse as well as maintained Bai Xing's posture. Their pace was faster than yesterday when he rode by himself thanks to Grey.

They arrived at the dwarves' cottage less than 2 hours later. Seeing their arrival, a dwarf with bushy eyebrows opened the door. Grey jumped off the horse and helped Bai Xing down.

"Young lad, you've come," the dwarf looked at Grey suspiciously, "Ain't this that famous hunter from town? Whatcha doin' here?"

"I'm his bodyguard." Grey placed his hand on Bai Xing's shoulder.

"…If you say so," the dwarf beckoned them to follow him, "Let's go."

Grey took Bai Xing's hand into his and walked as if nothing happened. Bai Xing couldn't free himself and resigned, lamenting his lack of muscles.

They followed the dwarf through the forest. After a while, Bai Xing could see an area in front of them where sunlight poured in brighter than the rest of the forest.

Once they reached that area, he found that it was because the place wasn't covered by the trees' canopy. There were no trees there. As the dwarves mentioned yesterday, it was a clearing. Only one lone statue stood in the midst of it.

"That's the goddess statue." the dwarf pointed at it.

The marble statue was of a woman wearing a gown, stunningly flowing down her body. Her beauty was gorgeously carved, and her veil gleamed under the sunlight. People wouldn't question her title as a goddess.

Bai Xing studied it from afar before carefully approaching it. Last time, he never visited Cinderella's home in daylight, so he didn't know what could occur. If the mist only happened at night, the statue was probably safe by day, but it was best to stay alert.

His tense back relaxed when nothing happened once he stood right in front of it. He reached out and touched the platform. So far, it didn't have any sign of corruption like the tree. Could a statue even be corrupted?

Or was it because it was still daylight?

Bai Xing, "…"

Looking around, there really was nothing else there except for the statue. Nothing was out of the ordinary either.

"So? Whatcha think?" the dwarf asked.

Bai Xing shook his head, "I'm not sure. Not when I don't know its form at night."

"…" Grey frowned.

The dwarf knocked on the statue, "Why don't we just smash this and see what happens? Ma pickaxe can do the job. Easy-peasy."

"No, we can't," Bai Xing hurriedly stopped the dwarf, "If it has an owner, they'll come after you."

"Well, ya have a point," the dwarf backed away, "I ain't gonna stop you if you wanna stay the night here, but I ain't comin' along, young lad. Then, I'm leavin' first."

Bai Xing nodded, "Thank you for guiding us here."

"No sweat." The dwarf left.

"We're not staying the night here," Grey rejected the idea before it even came out of Bai Xing's mouth, "Too dangerous. There is witchcraft in the mist. If you didn't save me last night, I would already be dead by now because of it."

Grey pulled his hand to leave, but Bai Xing stood his ground. He touched the marble platform and fidgeted to say something. He really needed to confirm it, but if Grey didn't want to he wouldn't be able to fight him when he got dragged away. Not to mention, his hand was still being held hostage.

"…" Grey looked at Bai Xing for a few seconds before he grunted in defeat, "Fine, we can stay."

Bai Xing let out a small sigh in relief.

"But!" Grey emphasized and raised their connected hands, "Don't let go of my hand. Don't do or touch anything without my permission. Stay within my range of vision. Most importantly, answer when I call you. Do you understand?"

Bai Xing quickly nodded his head.

Grey tapped on his own lips, "Payment."

Bai Xing, "…"

Do you take lifetime credit?
