Finishing the bath, I changed into some comfy pajamas...

I realized when I was taking off my clothes that I left my handkerchief with Aya-chan, I tied it around her leg since it wouldn't stop bleeding...well it doesn't matter since I have many...

I went back to the kitchen while rolling my sleeves up to my elbows.

Setting up the fire in the stove, I placed a cast iron pan and let it heat up.

I looked for the bowl with the chicken wings and stirred it again...once the pan heated up, I poured a lot of oil and let it heat up again...

Once it did I placed the marinated chicken, deep frying it...

After it was done, the rice finished cooking just in time, I took a plate and scooped some rice.

I brought the food to the dining table and ate...

I wonder if I should join Makoto's cooking club, maybe I'd learn some new recipes...hmm...

I glanced at the clock.

It was already passed 8 pm..grandfather must be enjoying his dramas by now...

Before..my mom used to watch those along with grandfather...both of them seemed to like dramas.

Next morning.

I woke up and did the same thing as yesterday morning, it would be my routine from now on...

I ate a simple ham sandwich for breakfast and left with Uncle Chen.

When we got of the elevator, I saw a familiar little back sitting on the steps outside the entrance.

I smiled and gestured for Uncle Chen to ready the car...

I quietly walked behind her

"Who are you waiting for, Aya-chan?"

"Ahh!!"

The little girl quickly turned around, when she saw me she pouted.

Cute, I pinched her cheek

"Mouu~ onii-chan...I was waiting for you..."

I chuckled, "Oh yeah? what can onii-chan do for this cute baby?"

"I wanted to thank you..."

She said, her mouth still pouting.

"Thank me? there's no need.."

I smiled when I heard her saying..

"But mommy said I should thank you.."

"Really? then, your welcome"

I looked at her leg, looks like the wound was covered with a patch...

"Does you wound still hurt?"

I asked as I sat on the steps beside her

"..hmmm, sometimes..."

"Aya-chan should be careful not to get hurt next time, okay?"

"hai~"

I rummaged my bag, I brought the two small bags of gummy bears with me before I left,

"Here, Aya-chan can have this"

"wah, onii-chan! thank you!"

I gave her one pack and told her, "Don't eat too much okay? it's bad for your teeth"

"hmm"

She smiled and nodded

"Ahh onii-chan, look, look!"

As if suddenly remembering, Aya-chan pointed and showed me her pink shoes

"mommy bought it for me when she came home last night!"

"wow, so pretty, it suits Aya-chan well!"

"right? Look, it lights up too!"

I laughed as I listened to her bragging, patting her head.

"Uhuh, it makes onii-chan jealous"

I tapped my foot,

"ahh, too bad, onii-chan's shoes doesn't light up"

"right? so Aya-chan..."

"hmm?"

Aya-chan looked at me as I made a serious face,

"Let onii-chan borrow your shoes"

"ehhh??"

"Poor onii-chan, his shoes doesn't light up, so let onii-chan borrow Aya-chan's shoes so he can brag to his classmates too"

"ehh, but this is Aya-chan's...it won't fit.."

I laughed out loud seeing her lips pout even more,  it's really fun teasing Aya-chan.
