A blue-painted carriage, being pulled by two Horses and had the Insignia of house Saxonwold, a Baron of the Elderon kingdom.

The Insignia is a Sword and shield with the sword pointing upward, when a sword is pointed upward it means that one is ready for an attack and the shield represented the Saxonwold family’s oath to protect the north.

The Carriage had stopped at the gate of the Baron's mansion which was a two-story Victorian Style mansion, it was quite large and was located at the center of the Territory.

The mansion had a stone-paved driveway for when a carriage entered, it also had a walkway paved in stone for when people are walking to the front door. There was a house side garden with various flowers for viewing if one has an interest in flowers, Behind the mansion, in the backyard was the training ground for the knights, The backyard was large enough to include Barracks for the knights to sleep in, including a training ground for sparring matches.

The knights opened the gate to let the carriage enter and the coachman guided the horses inside before having them stop. The Door of the carriage slowly opened to reveal Baron Saxonwold with his red slick back hair, and a well-groomed short beard, in the past five years he let it grow out, the Baroness seem to like it quite a bit.

He was wearing a Red coat with a straight collar and golden trimmings, The buttons were lined parallel to each other, and there were epaulets on his shoulder that showed his rank of Baron.

Getting out of the carriage, he was immediately jumped by his wife.

"Daaaarliiiiiing"

The baroness who had been informed by her servants of his arrival had come out of the house to welcome him almost as if he had been gone for months when it was only 2 hands full of days.

The sudden tackle by his lovely wife jostled him a bit but quickly regained his composure and responded to her.

"Hello honey I and my beard are back"

He reciprocated the hug, hugging his wife after a long time felt quite therapeutic for him, having spent more than a week away from her. Not only that dealing with arrogant nobles in the capital was a tiring experience.

"oh have I been forgotten already, how cruel of you MiLady to think a week is all it took"

The calm and cool voice of Adam was heard, the good doctor exaggerated an expression of sadness, To think the women he has served for five years would forget him, how cruel.

"Hoh, you want my wife to welcome you before welcoming me?"

"I didn't say that but It would be nice"

"How insolent of you, perhaps I ought to have you flogged"

"Have mercy your grace if I were to be crippled I'd never  work as a doctor again, to lose someone of my skill would be the unfortunate thing for you"

"Perhaps a minor flogging on the legs, being a doctor doesn't require legs"

The two exchanged banter as they talked and walked, in the past 5 years Adam and Harold have gotten along quite swimmingly.

Adam has raised the reputation of the Baron while the Baron gave Adam something incomprehensible though he doesn't know it yet.

"So Darling did you miss me much as I did"

The Baroness curiously asked her husband whilst stroking his beard,  they were nearing the door before Harold stopped as he didn't know how to answer a simple question like that.

"A little"

Harold blushed a bit but was unnoticeable, Though he said a little it was the opposite.

"A Little? Ha, Surely You jest sir Saxonwold, I recall it being more than just a little"

Adam raised his voice objecting to the statement of the Baron.

"In but a single day my lord had already been homesick missing his darling wife"

Adam joked, earning a giggle from the baroness and a small now noticeable blush on the baron, it was embarrassing having his true feelings exposed like that.

"Aww how cute, did you miss me that much"

"*ahem* anyway where are my darling children." 

Trying to change the subject Harold asked about the whereabouts of his children.

As if on cue Elia the Eldest and Emil the youngest opened the door and greeted their father.

"Welcome back father"

While Elia simply greeted her father, Emil jumped at him in an attempt at a hug.

This caused Harold to catch his son and lift him In the air and did a turn before lowering him holding him in his arms.

"How's my little warrior?" 

"Father, did you bring souvenirs?"

One could tell from his eyes that Emil was excitedly expecting something from his father, after all, it would be a crime on his part not to bring any gifts for his children from the capital.

"Of course let's go into the house and I'll show you "

He walked in as he carried his son, his precious Heir in his arms. The baroness followed him into the house with a smile on her face.

 Elia was wearing a deep blue dress with cobalt shoes, her hair was white and her skin showed signs of looking pale, her hair reached down to her waist, She stood there and she placed her hands on her waist and stared at her magic teacher.

"Welcome back sensei" 

"Have you been keeping up with your training?"

He asked, He once asked her why she called him that word  "sensei"  he didn't recognize the word to be part of any language he was aware of and didn't seem to be an anagram of any word he know so he asked and she simply told him she made it up.

"As if you could call that training"

"Hoh big talk from someone who couldn't picture a simple fireball spell"

"Perhaps your way of teaching just sucks"

"Oh really or perhaps as a student you suck"

"A student can't suck at learning if the teacher is good enough"

"Fair enough"

Adam conceded, Elia wasn't a bad student and was quite exceptional, the only problem she had was picturing the spells and the produce the spell in reality but once she got that down it was smooth sailings, of course, he wasn't gonna teach her any advanced magic.

"Anyway, sensei last you talked about origin and Derived magic so how about we step up the difficulty?"

So far she has learned simple spells that are much easier to execute but nothing special.

"No not yet you're still a child your magic circuits haven't formed properly though it was quite unprecedented that you had already formed your circuits at age 3 that doesn't mean they are ready for high tier spells so for now we'll stick to low tier spell, plus I'm kinda tired and need sleep so I'll see you tomorrow"

He explained and immediately went in the house without letting the girl in front of him respond, he didn't want her to learn advanced Magics and ruin his plans best to keep her weak.

"Well now that was rude and odd"

It was almost as if he was avoiding the topic of her learning Advanced magic spells. While Elia hasn't been insistent on learning more powerful spells afterall she has only been a couple of weeks since she officially started learning so maybe Her sensei wants to keep things safe.

"Understandable"

She said before she went back to the house herself to see the Souvenirs her father was talking about.

Adam entered his room and closed the door behind him, he took a whiff and the smell of medicine came into his nostrils, he walked to the table located at the side of his room that had multiple pieces of equipment on top of it.

He took off his Long white jacket leaving only the red striped shirt, he undid his ascot and rolled up his sleeves. And sat down on his chair.

"I've been here long enough" 

He said while staring at the red powder that was inside what look like a metal container. 

This was a type of medicine he had been working on for a while but he had to leave It unfinished for 10 days, initially, it was supposed to be a week but those damn nobles kept asking the Baron if Adam could treat some of their illnesses and Harold wanting to build a reputation obliged them.

Adam cursed being such a good doctor and cursed having become a family doctor, when he had his clinic in the capital he could just close it and focus on his research but now he has to comply with whatever medical or magic-related issue Harold asked of him.

"Why aren't there any good doctors in the capital? Whatever Time I finished this and leave"
