Infodump warning about some aspects of the system.

____________________________________________________

With a start, I found myself waking up in an unfamiliar place. Again. Sitting up, I stretched my arms over my head and grumbled. "At least it's not another bedroom..." Looking around, I could see trees for as far as I could see, with their width being a good size of over two of me wide. Standing up, I heard a soft plop on the ground, and found 3 small gift wrapped boxes there. I picked them up as I kept an eye on my surroundings, and looked at the labels. "Open me? What, am I in Wonderland?" I let out a soft snort as I pulled the tab, and the box burst into a small cloud of dust as I felt it disappear, replaced by a larger and much heavier weight.

The smoke cleared away as I coughed, revealing a medium sized book with a large belt pouch on top of it. I flipped open the book and read it's title. "'Big Book for Builders'? Uh huh, so what is it good for?" I jumped as an electronic voice sounded out in my head, nearly fumbling the book and bag.

[The 'Big Book for Builders is a tome from another world, one that was formed from the dreams of a pries of a demon god. The contents are capable of being added to. It has several sections, including a Status Page, Beastiary, a Recipe Index, a Quest Log, Blueprint Library, and a Spell Grimoire. As of now, it is soulbound to one Jacqueline Brynn. It is able to project magical illusions of blueprints stored within, and is able to summon a paired workbench with all related tools, which it pairs with by placing on the workbench for 4 hours.]

I just stared off into space at that information, slightly stunned. "...ok, Great Sage. Then what is the bag?"

[The bag is a storage unit, able to spacially fold some items into 'stacks' of similar items, with it being able to hold up to 600 such stacks and items. Anything that can be stored becomes weightless, and is shrunk to be able to fit within.]

"Huh, thats handy." I grinned as I pulled the bag over to me. "How do i know whats in it?"

[You may insert your magicules into the bags structure, and will learn of the contents in that way.]

I nod in acceptance, and try to do so, only to realize... "I don't know how to manipulate my magic... F*ck..." I groaned as I palmed my face, before looking at the two other boxes. "Might as well see what else I'll get." I quickly pulled the tab on both boxes while closing my eyes and holding my breath, and waited for the smoke to clear. In my hands there were two card packs, as well as what looked like a deck box. "What the hell? Great Sage, some info please?"

[Aqua Action Command Set: this pack includes 3 cards, each of which give one of Aqua's starting Action commands to the user. Contains- Barrier, Cartwheel, and Shotlock: Bubble Barrage.]
[Command Deck Box: this deck box is able to materialize a card based on any spell or ability the user owns, which can then be used as a material in alchemy, Command Melding, and more. This can also be used to grant 1-use copies of spells and abilities to others, or to collect more uses of a spell.]
[Creature Type Affinity card- a card that, when used, allows the user to choose a creature type to become proficient at summoning.]
[Spell Grant Card- a card that randomly grants the user one spell, aura, or enchantment that falls under one of the users mana affinities.]

I whistled again over what I held in my hand, and quickly flipped open the deck box, finding it to have a collection of blank cards that had some filling in with detail as I watched. "Glad I don't have to do anything like bleed on the box to start the process." I set the deck box aside as i ripped open the card packs and pulled out the 5 cards in total. "So, do I add the Command Cards by putting them in the D. Box?"

[Yes. You must slip them into the deck box. According to the ibformation packet i have recieved from your 'system', this will be how you add any skill rewards to your repertoire in the future. Any Common, extra, or Development skills you unlock will be directly inscribed onto blank cards with-in the 'D. Box', as you put it.]

I smiled as I slipped the Command Cards in, and shuddered as it felt like my self was added onto. "Sweet~! Now... how do i use the Affinity and Spell Grant cards?"

[The Spell Grant must be ripped apart, at which point it will spawn a card pack with all related cards that are applicable to the spell you recieve. For example, you may only get a single spell card, or you can recieve many nore if you recieve an Enchantment, which sometimes grants permanent and semi-permanent abilities. Meanwhile, you must think of the creature type you want as you add the Affinity Card to the D. Box, and it will morph to show that affinity.]

I nod in understanding. "And how do affinities work?"

[Affinities come in several types. You have Creature, Spell, and Mana Affinities. Creature Affinities lessens the cost of any summoning spells that call on that creature type, Mana Affinities lets you more easily learn spells of that affinity as well as lessens mana costs for them, and Spell Affinities works the same as the others, except for that type of spell. There are Enchantments, which have long-term effects on a creature, and include strengthening, class bestowal, and curses; Aura, which projects effects onto nearby entities, and include healing, befuddlement, and others; Creature spells, which are used to summon a particular type of creature; Instant Spells, which as mostly minor spells and abilities that can be cast at a moments notice; and Sorceries, which take a bit of time to cast. By default, most of the spell types besides Instants' fall under the Sorcery category.]

I rubbed my forehead at the info dump. "Alright then." I then ripped open the Spell grant card, and a thick card pack appeared in it's place. "Uh... jackpot?" I opened the new pack up and slid the cards out to look over them.

"Lets see... Class Enchantment- Druid? Nice! That must be from the Forgotten Realms section of the Blind Eternities. Lets see now... Feat Selection card x4? Ooh, i must have gotten quite lucky there. Background Feature Card, I already know which I'll get. Cantrip Selection Card x2, understandable. Spell Selection Card x4 is nice. Wild Shape should be good at some point. Druidic Language Card? Could possibly come in handy, but I'm not sure. Common? Again, possibly handy. Race Equivalency card? I should check that more later. Druid skill x2? Great Sage, how do these skills work?"

[Skills, in this case, will be function similar to their Common/Extra Skill equivalent, granting a boost in your parameters for the associated abilities, and possibly even enhancing your body to an extent by changing your musculature structure, organ efficiency,  durability, immune system, and more. You will also gain basic or advanced knowledge of a particular  skill, depending on if you have 'Expertise' in the skill.]

I groaned at that, as i realized my whole power set just became even more complicated with that. "And theres no chance of being able to reroll my Spell Grant Card? ...No...? Alright, i'll just make do." I sighed as I dragged a hand over my face. "Do i get a list of feats and spells?" At my question, a pair of small books dropped onto my lap, and i checked the cover. "'D&D- A Spell List Guide for Beginners' and "D&D- Dummies Guide to Feats'? Very... nice... titles, if a bit passive agressive." I smiled as my eyes rolled, and I flipped open the book to look through the feats first. "Lets see... Ooh! I can choose certain feats multiple times? Nice! That should be useful, depending on the feats i choose! Now what else is there?"

I spent the next few minutes browsing the Feat book, already sorta knowing which ones I'd pick, before I set the book down.

[Are you done choosing your feats?]

I nodded with a grin. "That I am. I wish to pick Skill Expert 2 times, along with Prodigy, and Skilled."

[And how would you like your options distributed?]

"Well, i'll start off with my Druid Skill Cards, by getting Arcana and Nature. For the Skill Expert feats, I think I'll add proficency for Acrobatics andAthletics, with Expertise for Athletics. And Nature, and a boost to Strength and Intelligence. For Skilled, I'll pick Carpenter's Tool, Chef Utensil, and Survival proficiency. For Prodigy, I will pick Medicine and Herbalism Kit proficiency, Sylvan language, and Survival Expertise." As I talked about each choice, I added the Feat Cards and Druid Skill cards to my Command Deck, sliding in the Race Equivalency Card, both language Cards, and the Wild Shape card as well while I was at it.

I let out an excited growl as my tail lashed, and I felt a swell of power and knowledge, before grabbing my head at a sudden pain that hit me. "W-What...?" Feeling something wet, I reached up and touched my nose, only to find it bleeding as I felt darkness fold over me as my body dropped to the floor.
____________________________________________________________

I slowly sat up from where I had fallen, and looked around. Almost immediately, I could feel a difference, as my mind automatically flicked forth the names of many of the plants I could see and simple medicines i could make with them, identified animal and possible monster tracks in my sight, game trails that would most definitely lead me to water, the names of the trees surrounding me and the best place to chop to bring them down quickly, and much more. Holding one of the trees, I pulled myself to my feet and held my hand, vaugely realizing i was taller and more muscular and lithe, like a runner. Looking around a bit more, I noticed that I could see much more clearly, as well as having my hearing being much more sensitive, the sounds of birds twittering in a tree about 40 feet away being quite clear.

"Great Sage, what happened?" I lightly touched my nose again, finding dried blood, and looking above, from what the new knowledge I had was saying, I was out for almost 3 hours, with it now being close to noon.

[The near instantaneous influx of knowledge and bodily improvements proved too much, and caused a mental overload, making you pass out. The only reason you're awake, if at all, is your draconic natures healing factor, and your Mental Resistance skill.]

I stared, wide-eyed, into nothingness for several moments, coming to terms with the fact I almost died with that little 'stunt'. "That was stupid of me... Wasn't it...?"

[Yes, it was. Please refrain from adding multiple knowledge skills at once from now on.]

I nodded at that. "I'll do my best..." I then looked down at the spell cards in my hand. "Think it's safe to use these at the moment?"

[Negative. I would say to wait till tomorrow, to be safe.]

I nodded in acknowledgement as my eyes flash. "Wait! I gained knowledge on the Arcana Skill! So i should be able to manipulate my mana, and then access my Item Bag!" I excitedly went to pull it to me, only to pause. "On second thought, i should wait... don't know what manipulating my magic would do after what just happened..." I patted the bag and tied it to my belt, and pulled the deck box over to me instead. "Lets see what all i have now." I pulled out the Stat Card.

I stared at the 2 Stat cards, which are all front and back with words describing me, going over the information in my mind. "Why do I have double the amount of feats as I should? How do I have such stats? And why did my Dragon race switch to Dragonoid?"

[Once you gain Expertise in a skill proficiency, you gain a feat corresponding to it. Your stats were based off of your natural affinities to each, with some Intristic skills doubling your total, and other skills adding to it. And in this world, any being that is the scion of a True Dragon and a Humanoid race will be a Dragonoid. You are only the second to exist.]

"Fascinating. Makes me wonder what would have happened if i had chosen D&D as my main system." I let out a light giggle. "Now, lets check out the rest of my cards!" With that, I emptied the filled cards out into my hand, and started shuffling through them.

I looked over the 40 command cards in my hands, thinking over what exactly each meant for me. Each had a stylized name plate and picture associated with the content on the front, and a description on the back. My mouth curled up in a grin at the sight of all of them, and i slid them back into the deck box, before standing up. "Now, where should i go?" Looking around, i couldn't really decide, even with my new knowledge of nature and survival. I was in the middle of a loosely packed forested area, with no signs of civilizations or habitation, or even a water source! So, i decided to go to the tried and true method of deciding where to go: I stood a stick up on one end, and let gravity decide.
