Gladius flew all night, leaving the country of Klystopia but eventually had to stop at the borderlands of Aragonia after Aurora's skin started burning from the sunlight as the sun rose

He immediately dove into the dark forest below and covered her under his black wings as they hid in the most shaded part of the forest they could find

He didn't tell Aurora, but he wanted to bring her home to Elvenhelm

They found a wooden cabin in the woods, and knocked on the door

They found that it was empty, even though it was well furnished and looked recently used

But they had no choice to hide Aurora from the sunlight and entered it. Gladius immediately boarded up the windows to block out all sunlight as Aurora rested in the only bed there

She was shivering as her body sweat, reacting to the vampire bite

Normally, a vampire's bite would work quite fast, turning a human into a vampire

But Aurora wasn't a human, but instead a high elf. Her body naturally tried to fight the vampirism

Furthermore, the bite effects also travelled through the body and entered her womb, affecting the baby within

"We... we need to abort the baby. It will become a vampire! I know it!" Aurora said in panic as she felt the change in the baby

"No my love. The baby is our first love child. So what if he or she becomes a vampire. The next baby will also be a vampire, because you are one now. And I will love him or her all the same as he or she is my flesh and blood" Gladius said seriously at Aurora, holding her hands to comfort her

She nodded and calmed down. She was with her lover now, and he would do anything for her.

Over the following months, the owner of the house still hasn't returned and the couple started using it like it was their own

They would leave after Aurora gives birth, but for now, she was kept hidden in the deep forest to stay safe

They didn't know if anyone is after them, although they were pretty sure at least Sevalle was dead

Gladius hunted for food in the day and Aurora joined him at night

She had full use of her elven powers again, so she was showing off to her lover that she was quite handy too

She also found that she was more powerful too because of the vampire bite

They hunted mostly creatures like bears and wolves, drinking it's blood and eating it's flesh

Some animals, Gladius absorbed their lifeforce directly, just to keep himself recharged and continue growing more powerful

Gladius was already more powerful than a normal incubus due to training and fighting in the arena for over 60 years, like a normal man would be if he was fighting and training all his life. 

Over the months, Aurora's body grew bigger and bigger, making her look fully pregnant now

She was wearing clothes she found in the house, while Gladius had made loincloth clothes from the animals they hunted

Today, in the middle of the afternoon, Aurora's contractions started and she lay in bed painfully

"What do I do? Do you need anything?" Gladius asked anxiously as he was completely clueless of what to do. While he had hundreds of lovers in his harem, perhaps even getting some of them pregnant, he never had to bother with the follow up as Sevalle's servants took care of everything for him

"Just get me some water for the delivery" Aurora said, pulling her dress up, revealing her naked bottom half of her body

As the Elven princess, she has at least witnessed a delivery in her village. As elves do not breed very often, her mother the Queen had brought her to witness an elven birth before, so she at least tried to emulate what she saw and knew she needed a basin of water

Gladius rushed out of the house to get water from the nearby river

"How dare you break into my house, thief?" a voice that sounded like bells suddenly sounded, shocking Gladius and Aurora from within

Gladius looked and saw a beautiful blonde woman dressed in white, riding on a unicorn!

This was the first time Gladius had seen a woman arguably as beautiful as his lover Aurora and was stunned

"W...wait. We were only..." he started, his body automatically using his seductive charm to try to calm the blonde down and gain a favorable response

"How dare you use charm 0n me?" the blonde said as she put up her hand and a light exploded, knocking Gladius back

Gladius' turned into his full Incubus form, his wings wrapping around him to cushion his fall

"An Incubus!" the blonde yelled in anger as feathered wings opened up behind her back as she charged with a glowing sword drawn

The attacked him with such ferocity that Gladius, even with all his experience fighting in the arena could not withstand

She grabbed him by a horn and plunged her sword ferociously through his armored arm, straight into his heart!

"Die demon!" she said, twisting her sword in his chest, and the sword seemed to shoot a beam of light into him causing more severe damage in his body. 

"Gladius!" Aorora screamed, standing painfully at the door

The blonde was looking at Aurora in shock, expecting a succubus or some other demon, but instead seeing a beautiful blonde elf who was heavily pregnant

Gladius wasn't even looking at the blonde standing above him, but at Aurora as he tried to say something, but his mouth could only spurt blood

He grabbed the sword stuck in his chest, holding it tightly so that the blonde could not retrieve it and attack Aurora

But the blonde didn't plan to attack her as she was too shocked at what was happening

The elf stumbled towards them painfully, as it was clear she was in labour, but she wasn't aiming to attack her but was heading towards the demonic looking being under her foot

Aurora walked, step by step as her body started to smoke and crumble under the bright sunlight

Gladius' eyes were already dim as he had died from the sword destroying his heart

But the burning elf continued to walk towards her, even though her face and body now looked like a crumbling ashen statue, without any features as she collapsed to the ground in a puff of ash!

To the blonde's surprise a baby remained on the ground, complete and whole as it wriggled around blindly, it's eyes yet to be open

"What the..." the blonde said, releasing her sword which was held up by Gladius' body and hands, and quickly picked the baby up

It immediately started crying as she cradled it in her arms

It was a baby boy, and was the most beautiful baby she has ever seen

She looked at the baby, then at the dead man under her feet at woman that had crumbled to ash next to her, realizing that perhaps she was too hasty and had made a serious mistake!

What was an incubus doing with an elf? She looked like a high elf too! And why did she crumble in the sun? Was she a vampire?

There were so many questions in her mind, but now the priority was this baby. How was she going to feed it?

The baby opened his eyes and seemed to be reaching for her

Before she knew it, somehow she was letting the baby suckle on her left breast!

"What are you doing? There is no milk in there, you cute boy" she said

But to her surprise, she felt the baby suckle something from her left breast, and she found that her right breast was also lactating, wetting her dress!

In over 1200 years, Margera the veela had never been with a man, never gotten pregnant and have a baby. But now, she seemed to be lactating for it

Was the baby using it's incubus charms on her? Was it somehow controlling her? No... it simply was a bond forming between the veela and the baby boy

She looked again at the dead incubus and the pile of ash and sighed. This was her fault, and she will take responsibility for it by raising their child. It was the only thing she could do for them in apology to destroying their family
