They arrived through the main gates of the Starrock Academy and the carriage stopped right at the entrance to the main building at the Academy

The guards were wounded and tired as they had to keep alert the whole journey for fear of more attacks

"We've arrived your Princess" the guard announced

The door opened and Princess Adora walked out, dressed in the Academy uniform and pulled Lucas out after her

The guards stood in attention, wondered if they had not protected her well enough because she seemed to be walking with a slight limp or something

Perhaps she injured her leg during the battle, as she was walking funny

She thanked them and instructed them to rest before returning to Elvenhelm and walked into the main building with Lucas

Even the guards wondered, when did she change her clothes to her uniform? Wasn't there a strange male human with her in the carraige?

But that was not their concern as they only had to follow her orders, so they headed to the nearby inn, used for visitors of the Academy.

She brought Lucas straight to the principal's office to get him enrolled immediately.

"Princess Adora! How can I help you?" a wise looking old man said as he greeted the princess and the incredibly handsome teen beside her

"Principal Deldomain, this is my.. friend Lucas. He wants to enroll in the Academy!" Adora announced

"Yes... well you see, the entrance exams will be held in two months. You have to understand, if he does not have a recommendation, there are procedures to follow" Principal Deldomain said

Princess Adora frowned and walked to the Principal, whispering something in his ear

His eyes opened wider immediately, but before he could say anything to Lucas, Adora made a hushing gesture, indicating that it should be kept a secret

He still looked at Lucas, half disbelieving what he heard. He was the squire of the Lady of the Forest?

Principal Deldomain was a 6th Circle mage, which was quite powerful by normal standards

But the Lady of the Forest has been a legend even when his ancestors were alive, and he came from a long line of long lived mages!

There was always speculation on how powerful the Lady of the Forest was, but noone could know for sure, only that she has never failed in her mission to overcome incredible odds in battle.

He then looked at Lucas, and found that he could not sense any magic about him at all! Was he unable to use magic? Or was he so good at hiding his mana that he didn't reveal any mana on his body?

"Pleased to meet you. My name is Principal Deldomain" the old mage said

"Hello. My name is Lucas" he smiled, shaking the Principal's hand

"Ahem... I may be able to help with your entrance. But to show that we are impartial, you will still have to take an aptitude test. Are you a warrior or mage?" he asked

"Both" Lucas said

"Oh? Then follow me" he said

This was normal, as many students here were either pure warriors with no magical abilities, pure mages, or a mixture of both.

They went to the teacher's lounge to look for a few instructors to give the test

--

An instructor wearing glasses frowned when he looked at the handsome youth

He must have come from a powerful family to demand a special test just for him

As an instructor, he hated students like that, who cut in line and was riding on his family's coat tails.

He would put him through the rounds, to show this teen that he would have to work hard to make it here

"So... your magic. Do you do elemental magic?" he asked, without introducing himself

"Yes" Lucas replied as Principal Deldomain and Princess Adora stood by the side, curious about his abilities

They were at the firing range, facing many magical targets which looked like stone statues resembling humans standing in a row

"Well then. Use your elemental magic, whatever you are good at, at the target. They are quire resistant to elemental magic, and your goal is to cause damage on the target. If you manage to do so, you pass my exam!" he said

"You mean like this?" Lucas asked, without even looking

Simultaneously one of the statues instantly disappeared in a flash of flame, another didn't only turn to ice but became ice, another turned to stone and another disappeared in a gust of wind, yet another dispersed into the ground in sparks of electricity. The last one literally transformed to become a tree, still looking humanoid, but grew leaves!

"Wh,,,what?" the instructor stumbled backwards

He expected the teen to shoot a fireball, or lightning bolt. But this teen literally transmuted the statues into different elements? That showed elemental magic at a much higher level. How would an opponent defend against something like that?

And he didn't even gesture or even look at the targets! He was in full control of his surroundings!

"So, do I pass the test?" Lucas asked

"Er... yes. Welcome to Starrock" Principal Deldomain said as the instructor still couldn't talk

"Do I have to do a physical test too?" Lucas asked

"Uhhh" the Principal said as he looked at the battle instructor he brought along

"Might as well. I am Granel" the battle instructor said, unsheathing his sword

"Pleasure to meet you. I am Lucas" Lucas smiled as he conjured two daggers in his hands, coating it with lightning!

Granel stared at him and suddenly sheathed his sword and bowed

"I didn't recognize you! Forgive me" Granel suddenly said

"You... you know me?" Lucas asked

"Of course. I was there in Rendovir against the insect monster swarm! I was there when the Lady of the Forest and her squire turned the tide and brought us the victory. Nobody else uses the wind lightning daggers the way you do" he said with reverence.

"So he has passed!" Principal Deldomain announced, seeing how Granel was clearly not going to test him and had implicitly given him a pass.

Adora happily grabbed his arm, pressing her breasts against it

"He might as passed, but I still want to test his mettle!" a female voice suddenly said from behind

A streak of red suddenly charged at him as he used wind to push Adora to safety

Deldomain conjured a shield, covering himself, Adora, Granel and the magic instructor as the shield actually cracked at the powerful attack

The dust cleared as a woman with red hair appeared, dressed in white and red, with a sadistic smile on her face

Lucas stood several feet away, avoiding her attack with a smile

"Xalezia!" Deldomain exclaimed in shock

She continued attacking as Lucas dodged all her attacks, even when each attack was blazing with fire

Lucas looked confused, having never met anyone like her before

She continuously attacked, each attack destroying the ground or the walls and Deldomain looked like he was pulling out his thin hair

Lucas didn't attack, instead trying to figure out why she felt so strange to him

"You...you're a dragon?" Lucas suddenly asked

"You can tell?" Xalezia said, getting frustrated trying to catch him, destroying more of the area

Suddenly Lucas stepped in, catching her in his arms and kissed her on the lips!

Deldomain, the instructors and especially Adora's mouths dropped

Xalezia was about to struggle when her body suddenly relaxed, hugging him and kissing him back

"Lucas!" Adora yelled jealously, running towards them

Lucas moved in a flash, suddenly catching Adora with his other arm and kissing her in turn as Xalezia looked weakly at them

"I think I've passed already. So, where do I live?" Lucas said, releasing his lips from Adora who also had a dreamy look on her face

"In my room!" Adora said

"No! Mine!" Xalezia refuted

"Uh... I think the males have their own rooms. You should live in the male dorm" Deldomain said

"I think that's a good idea. Lead me there" Lucas said as both Adora and Xalezia was pulled along

Deldomain watched the 3 walk off, wondering if there was a catastrophe waiting to happen

Adora was the Elf princess was widely admired all around campus and was one of the 7 beauties of the Academy

Xalezia was a dragon and was very beautiful but was not considered one of the beauties since everyone was afraid of her. She was in the Academy for years and she was a troublesome existance

She was a loner and didn't really need instruction. But she stayed in the Academy because after a few centuries, she grew bored and decided to stay in the Academy where she could gain knowledge of these mortal beings

Now both seemed to be swooning over this strange Lucas, the squire of the Lady of the Forest? His hair was already dropping, but he feared he would turn completely bald by the time Lucas graduated in 6 years!
