With great strength, he tries and lifts the tomb but a magic seal appeared on it illuminating the room. It filled the whole room with various magic runes, allowing Cirrus to see from its glow.

“Fucking magic!! RAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

His arms burst from the seams again, and his fingers broke to the bone, but he did not give in that easily. Cirrus could see the magic formula cracking from how hard he was lifting.

“Cirrus Zephyr!! Stop!! Thee will kill yourself!!”

“Don’t worry!! But you can at least help me out by pushing from inside!!”

“!?!?”

It shocked her that there was someone so foolhardy, willing to risk death to free her.

“So be it! But should thee die, I will never acquit you!”

More and more of the ground and magic around cracked and break apart until finally.

Crack!!!

BOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The seal was broken, and a beam of white pierced through the ceiling. It was like the earth on top was a wet piece of paper being punctured through.

“Holy shit….” Cirrus said as he lies on his back from the sudden blast sending him back with his armor disengaged.

As the beam gradually dissipates, the light of the moon drapes down into the tomb, and Cirrus's eyes widen at its contents.

Under the moonlight, a woman stood bathing in it. Her long hair was an inhuman white that gave off the glow of the moon. Her eyes were a glistening silver framed by her long eyelashes.

Cirrus, from just the sight of her, was utterly breathless. He didn’t even think the gods or nature could make such a person. If a god were to look at her, they would hesitate to speak or touch her for fear of tainting this purity and beauty.

She looks up at the night sky and smiles.

“So that is my name…” Her eyes widened, and a smile formed.

She turns her head towards Cirrus and then stepped down, leaving the light of the moon, and walked towards Cirrus. Her hair was still slightly glowing from the moonlight’s reflection, illuminating her slightly curvaceous naked form.

“Cirrus Zephyr.”

She stood fairly tall with a gentle smile.

“Will thee be my contractor?”

“Heh… hehahahaha!!” Cirrus gets up slowly and looks up at her. “Wasn't that the reward?”

Her smile grew even larger as she knelt at his eye level.

“Fufu… yes indeed, may I borrow thy sword?”

“Uhh, can you grab it?” He then swings his bloody broken arms.

“Ah… well, that makes this easier.” She draws the sword and clenches her hand on the blade. “My name is Candidus Nox, but you can refer to me simply as Nox, one of the first-born Spirits.” She then cuts her hand and holds Cirrus’s bloody hand. “I offer my mind, body, and soul to you, who has freed me from my tomb.”

As their blood mixed, Cirrus could feel his arms feeling far better as something hot was flowing through his arm.

Nox then leaned in and kissed Cirrus on his forehead.

“May I always look after my contractor through sickness and in health. Even in death, I shall follow you to the ends of heaven and space, earth, and time.”

Cirrus was being overloaded with stimulation as the last thing before they filled his eyes with a brilliant light. His body was as hot as a furnace as Nox smiles as her eyes turned a shining gold.

"Good night, my hero."

Sometime later.

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Cirrus could feel the warm desert winds as he gradually opens his eyes.

“Ugh…”

He could feel a layer of sweat on his skin.

“I need to take a shower or something.”

He slowly sits up and looks around to find himself in the temple, high on its highest point.

“… How the fuck did I get up here?”

‘It would seem you have awakened, Master.’

“That voice? Nox?”

He turned to see an owl of pure white with golden eyes and a crescent moon on its chest.

‘Yes, it is me. What? do you not like my form? I’m a bit surprised for a child to be interested in a woman so-‘

“No, it's 'cause you’re an owl and I’m on top of a fucking tower! And also maybe, yes…” Cirrus fidgeted a little as he gets up.

‘Fufu don’t worry. You’ll see me in my human form again. For now, I am simply regaining my magic after so long and my body is adjusting to the contract. Never did I think hunger would feel like this?’

“Ah, I see… well, that’s one thing now. Can you tell me HOW THE HELL AM I ON A TOWER!!!”

Nox then flapped her wings, flying near where Cirrus was.

‘I did this.’

She then grew into a large owl with razor-sharp talons and a beak.

“… Huh? That’s pretty cool.”

The bond between Cirrus and Nox are now forged. A spirit of old now after hundreds of years finally found a hero to serve. A bond that will change the world. Yes, the Hero of the White Night is just starting his long journey.

I based Nox off of Pandora from Re: Zero just more mature, looking around the physical appearance of a girl in her early 20s and a more white color pallet.
