Down in Ouranos’s room of prayer.

“Lord Ouranos!!” said Royman, an elf, and the Guild Head as come down personally. “We have been receiving several hundreds of reports from the western kingdoms and countries of a monster that has been causing famine and droughts!”

“I have heard Royman,” Ouranos said. “But what do you expect me to do?”

“Can I request HIM to track and kill the monster Lord Ouranos?” Royman said, with sweat dripping off him.

“… You know he is busy keeping order in Orario.” His eyes narrow in on the guild's head.

“I know this, Lord Ouranos, but this monster… it’s not in guild records.”

“… Do you have a drawing of it?”

“Y-yes.” He fumbled a bit but showed Ouranos the picture.

“!!” his eyes widen a bit. “This is… Royman. He will take on the quest, send word to all kingdoms of this monster!”

“S-sir, you know of this monster?”

“Yes, it would seem someone has unsealed this Calamity.”

Down on the 18th floor.

Haa… You sure gave me a good run hiding out here,” Cirrus said, a few more inches taller, with several people tied up and beaten.

‘Hey, Fels is calling you Cirrus.’

“… Oi, you keep an eye on them and if they get away, I’ll be sure to make this place more legal.” He gave them a sharp glare, and they straightened up.

“Y-yes sir!!” said one of the sketchy-looking adventurers.

Cirrus goes into the forest for a bit for some privacy.

“So what does Fels want?”

‘It would seem you are requested to take on a quest.’

“I’m a bit busy for that Nox.”

‘Well, you can’t refuse it. It seems Ouranos asked you to do this. Apparently, it’s a highly dangerous quest that needs completion.’

“… I’ll be up as soon as I can tell Fels I’m bringing up some criminals from Evilus.”

‘Will do.’

Cirrus returns to the criminals to find them slightly more beat up. He grabs hold of the rope and now chains and nods to the people of Rivira as he quickly leaves with the criminals in tow.

“… Man, that kid is terrifying.” Said one resident.

“Well, so long as we don’t associate with Evilus, we should be good!”

Coming back onto the surface, Cirrus was met with some Guild Employees and a few members of the Freya Familia.

“We will handle it from here, White Beast.”

“Thanks.”

Quickly leaving the base of Babel, Cirrus used his cloak to go invisible and take the secret passage.

In the last two years, Cirrus has been working to keep Orario as orderly as he can, but Evilus has been one step ahead. In this time he soloed the next Monster Rex, the Udaeus, and gained its black sword, earning him a level up, but…

“I am sorry.” Said Ouranos. “I can’t level you up, Cirrus.”

“Is there a reason you can’t? Does it have to do with the dungeon?”

“It does. As you know, it is my Arcanum that holds the monsters of the dungeon from leaking out into the world, and being your god has finally affected this situation.”

“… Then I have to find another Familia?”

“I am sorry.” he lowers his head a bit.

‘Shit! I rather not be one of Hermes’s children. If I have to be with him, I can already see the conversation going to use me to get with women, both him and Lydia.’

“… Do you have any suggestions, Lord Ouranos?”

“I do, of the gods that will keep their word and be suited for you. I have only one I can put faith in, you may enter.”

Tap!

Tap!

Coming from the flight of stairs connected to the Guild, Cirrus sees a familiar goddess.

“L-Lady Astraea!?” Cirrus said, amazed and hesitant.

“Fufu, are you that surprised?” She comes and stands an arm or two away from Cirrus.

“Cirrus, of all the gods, she is one that will keep her word till the day her very existence is erased. You may not accept her and choose your own god to follow.”

Cirrus was on the fence about his recommendation, for one he has only gotten to know 5 gods. Lugh, Hermes, Poseidon, Hephaestus very briefly, and Astraea, who did not have a good first meeting.

Lugh was in Solingen, so he was out.

Poseidon and his Familia are more retired than anything else, but they were a solid pick if not for the people under their employment being not combative members of their Familia who could get involved because of the target on his back.

Hephaestus was a no; he barely even knew her, and he didn’t want her smiths to also get targeted, even if she is one of the biggest Familia in the city.

Then the Hermes and Astraea Familia, He vibes more with how Hermes and his Familia do things, but they couldn’t handle the heat that was Zephyr who brought too much more attention than Hermes would like. On the contrary, Astraea could handle it. After all, her children were very active in policing the city, so what a little more heat to them?

“… Lord Ouranos,” Cirrus said with a sad and painful tone of voice. He was not happy about this, but if Ouranos trusts her, then he can bite the bullet. “… Very well, but know this Lady Astraea. I will always serve Lord Ouranos. He has been with me since I was 7 years of age. He is like family to me.”

Both Astraea and Ouranos were a bit surprised by his words, but they both made a gentle smile.

“That is fine. You have been keeping people as safe as you can and besides, Ouranos needs help as well. Now shall we get this conversation on the way, my Little Lone Star!”

“I also will try to keep how I do things away from your children’s eyes.”

“… Very well, so long as the criminal is brought to justice intact.” She said, taking a short breath.

“I’ll try.”

Cirrus disengaged his armor and revealed his face to Astraea. He could see her carefully, remembering his face clearly.

'His face... why does it remind me of someone?' she thought while etching it in her mind.

‘Seems my face didn’t get a reaction.’

He takes off his shirt and kneels.

‘So many small scars… Ouranos, what kind of child did you raise?’

She pricks her finger with Cirrus’s spear and drops it on his back. The tattoo changed to Astraea’s Status Emblem.

As she updates his status, her eyes widen as she quickly looked at Ouranos as saw him nod.

‘This… he’s far stronger than what I could have imagined! I-I didn’t think these parameters can go this far! His skills alone!!’

“Lady Astraea, here,” Cirrus said, handing her a piece of paper.

“R-right.”

She puts the information on the paper and hands it to him.

“So, do you wish to level up? You have the development abilities of—“

“Crush.”

“V-very well!”

She pricks her other finger and opens up his status again. After a bit, she gets another piece of paper and hands it to him.

“I-it seems you got a new magic.”

Cirrus looks at the paper and smiles.

"I will inform the others."

"And I'll try not to be in their hair."

Cirrus nods as he gets his things and burns the paper, taking one of the secret passageways. Astraea watches as he leaves and looks at Ouranos.

“… Ouranos this child… he truly is this era’s new hero.”

“He is someone that only comes once in a lifetime.”

“Yes… a very lonely existence. I hope he would find others to shine alongside.”

Back to the present, Cirrus is kneeling before Ouranos while Nox is kneeling in the back behind Cirrus.

“So… what is the urgent quest, Lord Ouranos?”

“You have a monster to hunt and slay called… The Nuckelavee.”

So Cirrus converted between the two year time skip, he has worked with Astraea and her Familia after his conversion and before his hunt of the Nuckelavee. Just a bit of clarification.
