Two days later.

“Hello!” Cirrus said, entering the Dian Cecht Familia clinic.

“Ah sir!” said the once dirty-looking silver-haired child. Now she was all cleaned up with good clothes, cleaning up the clinic. “Thank you! Lord Dian took me in!”

“That’s good! Say, can you call him for me?”

“Hm!” she nods, leaving to get her god.

A while later, Dian Cecht came out. An old gray-haired man with the face of a greedy businessman, his clothes laced with gold and jeweled rings adorning his fingers.

“Ah, Mr. Sora!!” said Dian Cecht.

“Hello, Lord Dian. Could we talk in private?”

“Of course! Airmid goes and cleans up the other rooms.”

“Hm! Yes, Lord Dian! Goodbye sir!” she said, leaving the room.

“Thank you for sending— “

“I need to tell you this. I didn’t send her here because I like you. I need to make that clear, Lord Dian. I sent her here because Miach’s Familia is too busy working to nurture her.”

“Tch! So I’m what!? Second fiddle to that poor god!”

“Yes, this place is far safer than with Miach given how…” Cirrus looks around to see how empty it is. “Expensive it is to use your service.”

“It wouldn’t be if a certain golden-horned animal didn’t— "

Cirrus’s eyes sharpened.

“I hope you aren’t going to bring up the fact that I! in my good gracious looked the other way when you were supplying--“ Cirrus walked in close to him and said quietly. “Evilus with potions. I was surprised to learn that they weren’t, in fact, actually 'stealing' from you.”

Cirrus would have dealt with Dian like any other person of Evilus, but Dian was a god of medicine, a very, very greedy god at that. Cirrus knew he and the city would get more out of him under his thumb than in heaven. Even if he was expensive, he was still a healer.

“You little shit, how long are you going to--“

“Until I feel like it. Owing me is the least you can do. If any of the other gods found out, they would have lumped you in with them.”

“Grr!!” he clenched his fists tightly. His own greed lead him to supplying Evilus, they simply offered him money he couldn’t refuse. “… You better not let one of those fanatics come here, got it?”

“Of course. Take care of Airmid and stay away from sketchy individuals.”

“Then why are you doing here, brat?”

“Hm. See ya. Tell Airmid she does well.” Cirrus takes his leave, leaving the clinic.

“…” Dian watched as he left and took a deep breath. “… Airmid!! Come here!! I’m going to teach you medicine!!”
