After returning from the Dungeon, Ryuu went back to Mia’s Pub.

“I’m back!” She said, entering from the back.

“Oh, welcome back Ryuu!” Syr said.

“Hello Syr. Is Mama Mia angry?” She said, tensing up a bit.

“Nope! Lunoire said Cirrus came by and gave her a lot of money!”

“W-what!? What do you mean gave her a ton of money!?” Ryuu said, a bit surprised and flustered.

“Well, Lunoire said it was ‘To make up for the work she missed out.’. Mama Mia didn’t complain! So you're off the hook!”

“Phew~,” Ryuu took a breath of relief. “I told him I can take care of myself, but I am thankful he helped me with this.”

“Hmm~ Is that so!” she said, noticing some changes with Ryuu. “Did something happen in the dungeon, Ryuu?”

“Huh? Nothing happened Syr.”

“Really?” Syr could tell. Her attention to detail was impeccable. A quick flicker of silver in her eyes and a bright smile, she pursued this a bit more. “Nothing with Bell?”

“No. He is a kind and respectable boy.”

‘Nothing with him, good. Now, what about the only other man in your life?’

“And nothing with say… Cirrus?”

“W-w-what are you saying, Syr!” Ryuu said a bit red. “N-nothing happened between him and me!”

“Ryuu, I know you're lying!” Syr quickly grabbed her hands. “So! Tell me! What happened?” Another flicker of silver.

“Hmmm…” Ryuu was getting more red. “H-he… held my hand.”

Seeing Ryuu like this brought up an image for Syr.

‘Artemis… She has a similar expression as her. Fufu. Do not worry Ryuu, as your friend I will make sure to help you along as best as I can. The first thing I need to do is see how to go about this. He is already taken, so I need to see if there is an angle for her to take.’

“Isn’t that wonderful, is it not?”

“It is, but um… I-I think I’ll go take a shower and head to bed, Syr. It’s been a long day.” She nods and walks past her.

‘Mmm… I should look into if Cirrus is interested in another wife. As her best friend, I can’t leave her out in the cold. Oh! Maybe we could have a double wedding!’

Syr smiles ear to ear.

“Fufu… That would be very nice!”
