The 24th floor.

After running for so long, Ryuu had to take a rest.

"Huff!! Huff!! Huff!!"

"Are you okay, miss!" said the Cat Person.

"I-I am okay. I need to catch my breath."

"That’s good to hear! I assume they got you in all that fighting."

"No, I am fine. What is your name?"

"My name? My name is Jura Halmer." He approached Ryuu. "Of the Rudra Familia."

"!?"

Ryuu noticed his hand moving. She immediately kicked him in his stomach, launching him into the dungeon walls.

"Gaah!?

"You dam—!?" Ryuu felt a sharp pain in her leg where she kicked him. She looked to see a deep cut.

"Heh-hehaha!!" He laughed out loud, with blood coughing out.

"You think this is funny!! Your whole group are all vile!! Disgusting monsters that make actual monsters look like rabbits!!"

"Thank you for the compliment! Hahaha!! They are all dead!! My Familia have already—Stab!!"

Ryuu threw her weapon, Lumina Ardi, into Jura’s left shoulder.

"You dam fucker!!" Ryuu’s eyes grew so cold and sharp that she ignored her injury.

"I like that look in your eyes!! I like the look those I kill—"

Ryuu grabbed her weapon and, with all of her strength, sliced off his right arm whole.

SPURT!!!!

"AHHHHH!!!!! AHHHH!!! MY FUCKING ARM!!!! AHHH!!! FUCK!!! FUCK!!! FUCK YOU!!! YOU ELF—Smash!!!"

Ryuu used the staff portion of her weapon and bashed his head in,

Bash!!!

Crack!! Spurt!!!

Bash!!!

Crack!! Spurt!!

Bash!!!

Crack!!! Spurt!

Until he no longer moved or made any noise.

"Huff!!! Huff!!! Huff!!! Huff!!!" Ryuu could feel every cell in her body consumed by anger. She grabbed a potion and poured it on her leg and quickly rushed back to the others.

 

27th floor.

"Huff!!! Huff!!! Huff!! Thud!"

"ROOOOOOAR-BLEAAAAAAAAAAT!~"

The monster bellowed once more, weakly, as its body turned to ash.

"Huff!!! Huff!!! Huff!!! Clang!" Alise drops her rapier and falls on her back.

Alise had dealt the final blow with the help of everyone in the room, but her body was in complete tatters, as was everyone else.

Alise looked to her side to see several of her Familia on the ground bleeding out from the monster’s slashes or from it cutting off a limb or two. The same could be said of the other Familia.

"Hic!! Hic!!" Alise began to cry. "I…I don’t wanna die…" Her eyes slowly began to lose their light. "Ry…u…u…"

Her tears stop, along with her strong heart.

           "…"

Only silence remained paired with the running water of the Dungeon when a snake-like vine slithered in.

It wrapped itself around the adventure and began to drag their bodies away.

A good long while later, Ryuu stumbles back.

"Please. Please. Please." She softly whispers to herself as no noise can be heard.

She entered the room with trepidation.

"Ah…" Before her eyes, she could only see stains and pools of blood. "Ah! AH! AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She falls to her knees as she breaks down into tears. "NO!!!! NO!!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!! ALISE!!! KAGUYA!!! LYRA!!! NEZE!!! ISKA!!! NOIN!!! NARYUU!!! RYANA!!! ASTA!!! CELTY!!!"

She'd keep calling out their names.

"ALISE!!! KAGUYA!!! LYRA!!! NEZE!!! ISKA!!! NOIN!!! NARYUU!!! RYANA!!! ASTA!!! CELTY!!!"

Over,

"ALISE!!! KAGUYA!!! LYRA!!! NEZE!!! ISKA!!! NOIN!!! NARYUU!!! RYANA!!! ASTA!!! CELTY!!!"

And over,

"ALISE!!! KAGUYA!!! LYRA!!! NEZE!!! ISKA!!! NOIN!!! NARYUU!!! RYANA!!! ASTA!!! CELTY!!!"

And over and over again, as she checks the whole room only to find and collect the weapons Cirrus made them. Yet despite only finding their weapons, she continued to call for them.

"ALISE!!! KAGUYA!!! LYRA!!! NEZE!!! ISKA!!! NOIN!!! NARYUU!!! RYANA!!! ASTA!!! CELTY!!!"

She kept going until her voice was hoarse and, eventually, exhaustion finally got to her.

And so only one star is left hanging over Orario, and that star is on the verge of going supernova.
