Taking my light blue dress from the cabinet, I clean a little bit of dust using light gust magic and wear it on for the meeting with the City Lord. It isn't a revealing outfit that's usually worn by noble ladies,  which makes me even more comfortable wearing it,  as it meant fewer eyes from pervy men staring at me.

As for the perfume,  light lily perfume is my go-to perfume for almost any situation. I must say,  Farah has a knack for growing plants. Is it because our ancestors had ties to the Elves back then? Most likely. There's even speculation that one of our predecessors married an elf, as evidenced by an occasional child with a talent for flora and fauna magic pop-out

"Are you guys ready?" [Rean]

Rean shouted from outside my room

"Just give me a minute" [Yuna]

"Same here" [Elise]

"I'm done" [Farhah]

"So am I" [Charlotte]

One by one, we went to the living room. Rean with his red and black dress looks mature. Elise with her white and purple looks elegant, that I must say, as compared to her rough older sister. Farhah looks simple yet beautiful with her long green dress and finally Charlotte, having the same dress as I am, albeit she wore a darker shade of blue

"The carriage from the guild had arrived"

A shout came from outside. A middle-aged man with a nice trim beard who's steering the official guild carriage with two tame black thunder horses.

After making sure to lock the door, we went inside the carriage and headed to the guild first,  where Mira's awaited. She's, as usual, being surrounded by men trying to woo her, causing the other female adventures to feel inadequate.  We can tell that it isn't her attention to attract the eyes of many men, but somehow, she just had that natural charm to her. As a female protagonist of a love novel with a mysterious power to attract the male lead, that's what I sometimes describe her as

"Woo, as popular as ever" [Farhah]

"Woo woo" [Charlotte]

"Farhah! Charlotte! How rude" [Elise]

"Come on, Big Sis Yuna doesn't seem to mind that much" [Farhah]

"How disappointing, I wonder from whom they got this behaviour" [Mira]

The three, without missing a beat, start chatting the moment Mira enters the carriage. It's a wide and comfortable carriage, with a soft leather sofa and a small table in the centre. Not every guild has it, but since we are one of the big and profitable guilds, our grandmaster approves of the commissioning of making this carriage.

"My lady-ship, care to explain to me first about the incident?" [Mira]

"I plan to do just that. Listen here, all of you..." [Yuna]

It's a good thing that this carriage is soundproof as well. I do not doubt it since we occasionally talk about highly secretive matters in this very same carriage.

I began explaining to them, right from the moment I accept the devil investigation request that Mira's handed earlier, to what the giant elephant mentioned before it suddenly disappear. I leave no details behind. I trusted every single one of us here, and I want to hear their opinion on what to talk about and what to hide.

For me, it's obvious that the part where Charlotte is heavily involved should not be mentioned during the meeting. Also, anything regarding what the elephant said before it disappeared should not be included

"I agree. It's better to leave out regarding Charlotte and what the elephant said" [Rean]

"As for Charlotte, I think you should get yourself ready. They will try to question you instead of our lady-ship here." [Mira]

"Maybe a set of answers will be nice" [Farhah]

"Agree, that way I wouldn't slip out" [Charlotte]

"Then let us start" [Elise]

One by one, we started to think of an appropriate answer for Charlotte. She tried her best to memorize by speaking in front of us with a tone of confident
