It's been three days after The Guild Master suggested I use the fire bear as a form of distraction to chase away all the investigators from the city lord. 

In the course of three days, I manage to track three adult fire bears, figure out the best way to lure them where I wanted, as well as figure out the schedule on which the investigator enter and leave the dungeon with the help of a friend of mine, who is a fellow adventure. 

Those investigators usually start their days at 0730H and leave the site around 2000H, and in between, they will rotate among themselves. There is, however, a point in time where all the staff will gather outside, together with their guards, and that's around 1300H, where they will change their rotation

It's 25 minutes away from the scheduled time, and after reminding those four to stay safe, I went ahead to the location of those three fire bears. Adult fire bears are usually solitary monsters, more so if they are alpha, but there had been documented cases where they form a group for better hunting or protection or both. This type of fire bear is usually an adolescent bear, just entering adulthood, and they are usually siblings, trying their best to survive after being left by their mother

"Chirp" 

A sparrow, which had been put under a spell by Farhah, guide me to the last seen location of those bears, and after around ten minutes of sprinting, they are within my sight. Judging by how there is blood in their claws and yet they are still drooling, meant that they failed their latest hunt. Convenient for me as I pick up high-quality lures for them. Some strong scents of cockatrice meats roasted together with honey. If I'm being honest, even I myself am tempted to eat these meats and the fact that I had eaten it together with my siblings and Mira just makes it worse. It mouth-watering delicious 

The bears, picking up the scent of their sweet sweet lure, drool even more, as they simultaneously look at me, or rather, looking at the meats in my hands, as I wave them around, spreading the aroma, tempting them further, and as expected from hungry monsters, they start chasing after me

They are bigger than typical bears, and yet they are still faster. Not only that, but since they are fire bears, they leave behind a trail of blazes. Some grasses and bushes start to catch on fire, prompting me to use water magic to prevent any wildfires from occurring

After some sprinting, the sight of those investigators discussing their latest finding prompted me to throw these meats toward them. Some of them are sitting, while some are standing, talking with the guards, and they are all conveniently located near each other. 

"What is that noise?"

"Hey, something big coming out from the bushes over there!"

"Shit! That is..." 

"Fire bear!"

"And there are three of them!"

"Run! Run now!"

They start to panic, as the bears started to attack them. I'm not sure why the bears attack them without even touching the meats, but most likely, the bears thought that those investigators are there to steal their treat

A bustling sound approaches me, as the bushes seem to open a path for me. Of course, it is 

"Big sis, let's go" [Charlotte]

"Right. Let us enter the dungeon once again" [Yuna]

With that, the five of us enter the underground dungeon of the ancient tomb
