After a couple of seconds in the awkwardness, Natasha flew down the Quinn jet to land close to the destructive area
"You boys had fun?" She asked as the the back of the jet opened with everyone getting in
"It was annoying" Mercury said
"It was awesome" Tony said
"Let's just get out of here" Steve said
Thor and Loki went in with the latter being tied up, the jet took off into the sky as Tony and Steve took off their helmets while Mercury wiped off the dust on his clothes
"So what's your name?"
"I am Thor son of Odin and this here is my little brother Loki" Thor said as Mercury sat next to him
"Mercury"
"Ah the outsider" Mercury replied "Why do you call me that?"
"Because you're power is definitely not from this world" Mercury just chuckled
"I'm Tony stark maybe you heard of me" Tony said as Thor just shaked his head "I do not know of you metal man" Tony just scoffed and was about to say something else when "I'm Captain America, Steve rogers" he said as he stuck out his hand in which Thor shook it with a strong firm grip
"And that over there is our deadly Assassin/spy/grudge holder, Natasha" Mercury said which earned him a bullet to his clothes
"Oh come on! My clothes are ruined" Natasha just smiled and waved at Thor who was quite scared at her attitude

The jet landed on the helicarrier as 6 people got off it with one person chained, They were met with agents ready to take him to his cell
"He's all yours" Mercury said as he grinned at the yellling Loki
"Get your filthy hands off the future ruler of Asgard!" He said which no one paid attention and that's when fury walked up to the 6
"Nice going" fury said to them in which fury approached Mercury and gave a good strong hug
"Nice to see you again"
"Look at you fury, old age didn't do good to you" In which fury just chuckled "No it didn't, this is what happens when you trust the wrong person"
Natasha and Steve were shocked by their interactions
"Wow never knew you had this side fury" Tony said as Natasha nodded her head
"Mercury is an old friend who saved my life once" Mercury just nodded
"Color me surprise, fury can die?" Tony said which earned a 'ha ha' from fury
"Meet me in the bridge" fury said as he walked off and followed Loki

The team was meeting up in a room that had 7 seats, Bruce and Thor exchange pleasantries, as they watched the security footage of Fury talking to Loki
"Ant" Fury then pointed to the propeller "Boot"
The two of them talked while threatening each other, once fury walked out the team started to talk
"He really grows on you doesn't he" Bruce said as he took his yes off the feed
"Loki is gonna drag this out. So Thor, what's his game plan?"
"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard nor any world known. He means to lead the against your people. They will win him theEarth, in return, I suspect, for the Tesseract." Thor said as he turned around to the team
"An army From outer space?" Steve said as his eyes went wide
"Hey I'm from space" Mercury said as he put a hand over his imaginary hart and pretended to act hurt, in which he turned to Natasha and saw her smirking
"So, he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for." Bruce said
"Selvig?"
"He's an astrophysicist."
"He's a friend." Thor shot back
"Loki has them under some kind of spell- along with one of ours." She said as she thought about Barton
"I wanna know why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here."
"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you can small crazy on him." Bruce said as thor looked at him
"Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason but he is of Asgard, and he is my brother."
"He killed eighty people in two days." Natasha said as The room got quiet
"He's adopted" thor said as Mercury just coughed
"I think it's about the mechanics.Iridium, what do they need the Iridium for?" Bruce asked as Tony and Coulson come walking in.
"It's a stabilizing agent." Tony said as he whisper something to Phil as he walked off
"Means the portal won't collapse on itself like it did at SHIELD." Tony then looks to Thor "No hard feelings point break, you got a mean swing." Thor gives Tony a look as he walks to the control panels.
"Also, means the portal can open as wide and stay open as long as Loki wants."
Standing now at the command area of the ship, Tony covers one eye. "How does Fury even see these?"
"He turns!" A women with short brown hair said as she answers tony question
"Sounds exhausting!" Tony said as He begins messing with the screens, sticking something to
the underside of a desk.
"The rest of the raw materials,Agent Barton can get his hands on pretty easily. Only major component he still needs is a power source-of high energy density. Something to- kick start the Cube."
"When did you become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics?" Maria hill questioned tony
"Last night. The packet, Selvig's notes, the extraction theory papers- am I the only one who did the reading?"
"Does Loki need any particular kind of power source?"
"He's have to heat the Cube to a hundred and twenty million kelvin just to break through the Coulomb barrier."tony answered Steve question
"Unless, Selvig has figured out how to stabilize the Quantum Tunneling effect."
"Well, if he could do that he could achieve heavy-ion fusion at any reactor on the planet." Bruce answered with his scientific knowledge
"Finally. Someone who speaks English." Tony said as he shook Bruce hand
"Is that what just happened? " Steve asked to the other people in the room
"It's good to meet you, DoctorBanner. Your work on anti-electronic collisions is unparalleled. And I'm a huge fan of the way you- lose control and turn into an enormous green rage monster."
"...Thanks." Bruce said as he looked weirdly at stark
as Fury enters.
"Doctor Banner is only here to track the Cube. I was hoping you might join him."
"I'd start with that stick of his. It may be magical but it works an awful lot like a HYDRA weapon." Steve said
"I don't know about that, but it is powered by the Cube. And I like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I know into his personal flying monkeys." Fury said as Thor made a confused face
"Monkeys? I do not understand-" Thor got caught off by Steve
"I do!" Steve said as The entire room goes instantly silent, staring at Steve."I...I understood that reference."
"Shall we play doctor?" Tony said as he made his way to the exit when Bruce went in front of him "This way, sir" and they left leaving the 5 members in the room
"Well I'm gonna be here and keep an eye on Loki" Mercury said as Thor nodded
Hours went by as the sky turned dark with Loki still not talking and the scientist working on the scepter

"Loki means to unleash the hulk, keep banner in the lab. I'm on the way, also send Mercury and Thor as well " Natasha said to her earpiece as she made way to the room
The crept up as the hellcarrier saw the view, which should've been wonderful but it wasn't because The avengers, the team that should've been United were currently arguing
Thor and Mercury were making their way when they heard the teams voices starting to raise
"I would like to know why shield is building weapons of mass destruction" Thor and Mercury heard it as they stopped and looked at each other
"Well that's not pretty" Mercury said as Thor nodded and they both enter to see them all there
"Because of them" fury points to Thor and Mercury
"Me?"
"Me?"
"Don't get me wrong Mercury your my best friend but not your entire race, Last year earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town. We learned that not only are we not alone, but we are hopelessly-hilariously, out-gunned." Fury explained to them
"My people want nothing but peace"
"And my people are spread throughout the whole universe saving people while also killing the planets..." Mercury added and the others looked at him shocked
"Yes but your not the only ones out there and your not the only threat. The world is filling up with people who can't be controlled and matched" fury said as Steve shot back "Like you control the cube!"
Suddenly everyone starts to argue over each other, threats were being made as well as constant replies with meaning while all of this was happening they didn't notice the scepter emitting a faint noise while glowing
Because of their constant arguing they didn't notice a certain jet coming towards them
"Put on the suit"
"I don't like to hit the elderly"

But before tony could answer an explosion occurred throwing the team and fury into different directions Natasha, Mercury and Bruce down below a level, Thor and fury fall to the ground behind a table
Tony and Steve are lunged to the entry way
The explosion took out a fan of the hellcarrier as it started to fall with debris's falling to the ground
"Well this is something right?" Mercury said to himself as he got up and noticed Natasha under something while Bruce started to shake
"Looks like the green guy is coming out" Mercury said as Natasha face was full of fear
"Don't worry Widow, I got you" Mercury lifted the object that was on top of her leg effortlessly and carried her bridal style and started to levitate
"You know this won't ever work out right?" Mercury asked Natasha "Oh I know" replied. "Good don't get your hopes up" and with that Mercury chuckled and started to get away from the shaking Bruce
...
"I got this thor go check on your Brother" Thor just nodded and ran off to see his brother tricks
"Okay I think thi-" but before Mercury could finish his sentence he was punched and got thrown to the side
"Big guy remember me?" Mercury said as he got out of the crater

Mercury kept shooting his eye beams as he got the hulk attention
"Eye. Men" the hulk said before running off to him and leaving Natasha behind, groaning and on the floor catching her breath,
Hulk tackles Mercury as the two roll into a docking area with planes and personnel run from the room. The two circle one another, then the Hulk strikes, throwing wild punches as Mercury ducks and weaves. Hulk brings down a fist and Mercury holds it above him, on his knees.
"Fight it Bruce!...because this time I think you can hold my leg before I fly up!" Mercury said as the hulk grunted
BZZZZ
Mercury shoots his eye beams at the hulks eyes causing him to stumble and back away while rubbing his eyes
Mercury taking this opportunity tackles him and starts to upper cut him, the hulk recovers his eye sight and throws a hard right but Mercury goes under his arm and punches his side causing the hulk to fall on one knee
The eternal than kicks his another knee making the hulk fall on both knee and was about to shoot his eye beam but got head butted, Mercury stumbling back, the hulk then grabs his leg and starts to slam him like a rag doll
'Thank god for my healing factor' Mercury thought as he used his eye beams with full power this time
BZZZ
Hulk raising his arm to block it stumbled backwards on to a place and inspects his wrist to see a small drop of blood on it
The hulk grunts and yells as he charges at Mercury crashing through many walls and barriers, finally ending and crashing through one more floor they end up in the wishbone lab
The hulk than grabs his leg
"Oh shit not ag-" but before he could finish that sentence he was being thrown around
Mean while fury and hill and some shield agents were on the bridge
"Sir we have the hulk and Mercury fighting on Research Level 4. They completely destroyed level 2 and 3" Fury heard the report through his ear piece
"Sir they are gonna tare this place apart especially Mercury with his eye beams that can cut through almost anything"
"Then let's get there attention" fury said as one of the agents nodded
"Escort 6-Oh, proceed to Wishbone and you may open fire to get their attention"
"Sir"
"Don't worry agent Hill, Mercury can heal from almost anything in a second"
...
The jet flies to where Hulk and Mercury are fighting
"Target acquired. Target engaged." The pilot said As He fires his guns toward Hulk. The barrage of bullets bounce off of Hulk. He roars, running at the window.
Hulk crashes through it, leaping at the jet.
"Target angry. Target angry."
Hulk lands on the nose of the jet and tears at the metal as it swerves in the air. The pilot tries to eject himself but the Hulk tried to grab him as he was suddenly tackled by Mercury.
Mercury could see Thor in a glass container falling
"Heh" Mercury just chuckled as the hulk tried to grab him and rip him off but the eternal kept his steady grip around the hulk torso and free falling plummeting to the earth.
