The Avengers aircraft lands at the Avengers tower in New York where Barton is taken by Dr. Cho to have his wounds tended to

Maria walks up to Stark as Mercury was levitating and talking to Tony 

“You better have Bacon cheeseburgers”

“Yeah yeah I just bought some when we’re coming our way so they should still be fresh” Tony waved his hand as Mercury excused himself and said goodbye to Maria 

Maria Hill waved at Mercury as he left “Lab's all set up, boss.”

Tony Stark points to Steve back “Uh, actually, he's the boss. I just pay for everything, and design everything and make everyone look cooler.”

Steve looks at Steve with a small smile “What's the word on Strucker?”

Maria Hill follows Steve as they got off the jet and started to head into a room “NATO's got him.”

“The two enhanced?”

“Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Twins. Orphaned at ten when a shell collapsed their apartment building. Sokovia's had a rough history. It's nowhere special but it's on the way to everywhere special.”

Steve Rogers hands her back the tablet “Their abilities?”

“He's got increased metabolism and improved thermal homeostasis. Her thing is neural electric interfacing, telekinesis, mental manipulation.” Steve looks at her funny, and she rephrases the statement so he can understand “He's fast and she's weird.”

“Well, they're going to show up again.”

“Agreed. File says they volunteered for Strucker's experiments. It's nuts.”

“Right. What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them to protect their country?” Steve says as he gets in an elevator “We're not at war, Captain.”

“They are.” It closes as Maria was left there in her thoughts 

In Banner's lab Bruce referring to Barton “How's he doing?”

“Oh, unfortunately, he's still Barton.” Tony said as walked past the room  and saw Clint lying on a metal bed 

“That's terrible.” Bruce jokes 

Natasha looking over her friend, Dr. Cho tends to Barton's wounds as a blue light was hovering over Clint wound “You sure he's going to be okay? Pretending to need this guy really brings the team together.”

“There's no possibility of deterioration. The nano-molecular functionality is instantaneous. His cells don't know they're bonding with simulacrum.”

Mercury enters the room with him having a half of a cheeseburger in both of his hands “Cool” he says with a mouthful as Dr.Cho was still fascinated by what she read about Mercury she wanted her cradle to make someone like mercury

“Yeah Sorry to burst your bubble Dr.Cho but Mercury doesn’t like to be dissected today or Forever” Bruce says as she let out a frown

Dr.Cho wanted to see what Mercury tick as he was a synthetic being but he was not at the same time. That's she thought. He could eat, sleep, get tired but most important of all he could heal himself while being immortal. That’s what she wanted her cradle to do

“She's creating tissue.” Mercury said as Natasha didn’t get it 

“If you brought him to my lab, the regeneration Cradle could do this in twenty minutes.” Dr.Cho said as she took her eye off of Mercury 

“Oh, he's flatlining. Call it. Time?” Tony came in with drinks

“No, no, no. I'm going to live forever. I'm gonna be made of plastic. Like this guy.” Clint points to Mercury, he just rolled his eyes  as takes a drink as tony looked at him with his hands spread out “Dude” 

“What? I’m thirsty” Mercury said as she sipped on it while walking over to Dr.Cho away from Tony 

Tony Stark hands Barton a drink as he glared at Mercury “Here’s  your beverage.”

“You'll be made of you, Mr. Barton. Your own girlfriend won't be able to tell the difference.”

The avengers looked at Clint as sipped on the drink “Well, I don't have a girlfriend.”

“That I can't fix. This is the next thing, Tony. Your clunky metal suits are going to be left in the dust.” Dr cho says as she turned her head to Mercury “My cradle could be more perfect if you?” 

Mercury shook his head as he didn’t want him or his powers to be replicated by humans. Only celestial May do that 

“Well, that is exactly the plan.Mercury here has us already beaten. And Helen, I expect to see you at the party on Saturday.”

Dr. Helen Cho Taps on her tablet “Unlike you, I don't have a lot of time for parties.” she hesitates a moment as she slowly looked at tony and stopped taping on her tablet before asking “Will Thor be there?” 

Mercury chuckled as Thor probably never had a girlfriend that he was aware of so Mercury was wondering if Helen could make Thor less dense 

“Of course That man is basically there every time if there’s alcohol” Mercury stated as he left the room

It was night time as the Avengers tower upper floor was lit and with many people being there wearing suits, and dress as everyone was wearing some type of expensive clothing 

Mercury was currently wearing a black suit with black pants and shoes, making his face and jawline stand out while his muscular outlines as well 

He was currently talking to 2 ladies in deep v neck dress as he was holding a glass of champagne and the 2 ladies as well 

Currently saying something funny as the two girls laughed while slightly brushing their hand on his arm 

Outta nowhere Rhodey comes in and laughed as well. The two girls stopped laughing and chuckled nervously as Rhodney introduced himself as war machine 

“Well, you know, the suit can take the weight, right? So I take the tank, fly it right up to the General's palace, drop it at his feet, I'm like, "Boom! You looking for this?" Rhodey was currently telling the girls a joke that he thought was funny. The two girls looked at him weirdly and while Mercury was making his hand into a punch from and covering his mouth while chuckling a bit 

He said it again as the girls looked at him weirdly and made an excuse to leave. They left a dumbfounded Rhodey and an amused Etenral 

“Don’t sweat it man there’s plenty of fish in the sea” Mercury patted his back as he walked away and toward Tony and Thor 

“Did he tell the joke?” Tony asked as Mercury nodded. Thor and Tony looked blankey at Rhodey from across the room as Rhodey shook his head and walked to another group of people 

Mercury, tony and Thor see him making hand gestures that were apart of his story and seeing the group of people laughing 

Rhodey had a smile on his face as Trio just shook their heads and looked away

Later, most of the guests have left and it's just the Avengers plus Dr. Cho and Maria Hill sitting around Thor's hammer sits on the table between them. 

Mercury walks in a very interesting show as he heard all the avengers complaining of not lifting a hammer 

“All deference to the man who wouldn't be king, but it's rigged.” Hill says 

“You bet your ass.” Clint points his drum sticks at her as Hill turned to Steve 

“Steve, he said a bad language word.”

Steve sighs as he turns to Stark “Did you tell everyone about that?”

“The handle's imprinted, right? Like a security code. "Whosoever is carrying Thor's fingerprints" is, I think, the literal translation?” Tony states as he was standing up with a glass in one of his hands 

“Yes,” everyone gets startled by the voice as they saw Mercury walking in and fixing his suit. They all snickered at him “Well that's, uh, that's a very, very interesting theory you guys have there but I think I have a simpler one.”

Mercury approaches the hammer and lifts it easily as all the avengers get shocked while the beer that Thor was holding shattered. 

Mouths were open as gaps were heard. He flips it “You're all not worthy.” there's a chorus of disagreement from the others as Thor gets up and takes the hammer from Mercury and chuckles awkwardly 

“Well in my eyes I see Mercury Worthy so that’s why he could lift it” Once again the avengers were shocked and were disagreeing 

But then There's a loud screeching noise, like microphone feedback, causing everyone to cover their ears. They let their hands down as it fades, and Tony pulls out his device. One of the Iron Legion suits, heavily damaged and housing Ultron's consciousness, stumbles into the room

“Worthy... No, how could you be worthy? You're all killers.”

“Stark.” Steve says as he Looked at him 

“JARVIS.”

“I'm sorry, I was asleep. Or... I was a-dream?” Ultron states as he runs his metallic hand over his head 

Tony Stark is tapping his device “Reboot, Legionnaire OS, we got a buggy suit.”

“There was a terrible noise... and I was tangled in... in... strings. I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy.”

“You killed someone?” Steve narrows his eyes at the robot 

“Wouldn't have been my first call. But, down in the real world we're faced with ugly choices.

“Who sent you?”

Ultron replays a recording of Tony's voice "I see a suit of armor around the world."

“Ultron!” Bruce shouts out as the avengers looked confused 

“In the flesh. Or, no, not yet. Not this... chrysalis. I just need you” Ultron looks toward Mercury “But other than that I'm ready. I'm on a mission”

“What mission?” Natasha said as Maria got her gun ready “Peace in our time.”

The walls explode, and several Iron Legion bots barge into the room. They begin attacking the team, who all go on the defensive and fight back. Rhodey gets knocked through a window.

“Rhodey!” Hill shouts as she shots at one of the robots 

Banner climbs over the bar to avoid fire from the bots. Natasha grabs him and drags him down, and he lands on top of her.

“Sorry!” Bruce says as he was honestly happy in this position 

Natasha Just shook her head “Don't turn green!”

“I won't!” Bruce gets up and peeks over the counter to see Mercury turning one of the robot to dust and cutting another one with his laser eyes. Instantly 5 more continued to gang on Mercury but he didn’t back down as Mercury made 5 clones of himself 

The Avengers continue fighting the bots. One of the Iron Legion bots steals the Scepter. But before he could leave Mercury shot his eye beam at the shell and it cracked 

Instantly a small yellow gem landed on the floor. Mercury was about to grab it when a robot tackled him. He broke the robot it half as he turned around he saw the yellow stone back on the scepter and aiming at him 

“Shit Not AgaIN!!!!” Mercury shouts as he was hit by the mind stone beam and was sent flying back and crashing through the windows 

Instead of the Mind stone dealing damage it was absorbed into his body 

“Werid…” Mercury said as he was stopping himself in mid air and going back to the avengers tower to see the scepter gone and all the avengers resting with the robots destroyed

“That was dramatic! I'm sorry, I know you mean well. You just didn't think it through. You want to protect the world, but you don't want it to change. How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to...evolve?“

Ultron then picks up one of the dismembered Iron Legion bots “With these? These puppets?” He crushes the head making the face helmet pop out “We need more like you Mercury after all we’re the same”Mercury shook his head 

Ultron fake sighs “Then only one path to peace: The Avengers' extinction.” Mercury eyes started to turn golden as a golden ray escaped from his eye and sliced Ultron in half 

After Mercury  destroys his body Ultron starts singing “I had strings, but now I'm free. There are no strings on me, no strings on me.” 

The robot eyes started to darken as We  see Ultron has uploaded his consciousness in the abandoned Sokovia base and many body’s were on metal beds

Some where near Sokovia when Mercury got hit by the mind stone he also asorbed it making Wanda connection to him be stronger 

“I…I feel you” she giggled at air as Pietro looked weirdly at his sister
