Alex p.o.v 

"Old man can you teach my friend Carl too?" I ask little did I know i would come to regret this later on.

 the old man gets a thoughtful look before saying while laughing "the more the merrier they say haha" before getting serious and looking at my eyes then Carl's eyes before saying 

"I'll only teach Carl if he's able to pass my test after all i don't just teach anyone" wondering what the test is i decide to ask "and what's the test old man?" 

He says "why the test is..." he appeared thoughtful for a moment before continuing "about resolve" he says.

 while he says that Im thinking hopefully Carl passes while it would be a bummer if he didn't i would be nice if he did but before we continue I ask Carl

 "do you even want to learn the ancient Supernatural arts?" With a hopeful look but Carl immediately says resolutely 

"anything for you alex" while I found his choice of words weird i decided to put my focus back onto the old man i  hear him say

 "but I warn you it's not going to be easy so if you want to back out now i suggest you do it now " but I find this weird that the old man didn't test me so I ask him

 "old man why didn't you test me?" But I just hear a laugh in return before he says "well alex you already passed your test" confused I ask for clarification

 " what test?" And he says while laughing "why  just for showing up young man" as he says that Im more confused seemingly getting my body language he clears up the confusion

 " for showing up at school time heck even for listening to a stranger that shows bravery and resolve and ... maybe a little crazy" he mumbles at the end looking at him weirdly and I think. 

so he made me skip school for a reason huh then the old man looks at Carl again and repeats what he said earlier "again if you want to back out now you can" but Carl says with determination

 "I'll do it " he says while thinking MY ALEX wants me to do it so I will because I LOVE MY ALEX. I decide to ask

" when will Carl have the test old man?" He says "he'll have it today" 

3rd p.o.v 

As alex and Carl where skipping school alex sister aurora was getting worried because alex and Carl weren't eating at there usual place and she was starting 

to get suspicious of Carl she was thinking. that bitch Carl is probably up to no good with alex and decided once she gets home she'll pay more attention to alex 

and our goddess was busy watching alex while being amused by his actions while plotting for a amusing situation. the Goddess of dreams and foresight 

apostle was busy training his skills [master of few] which is level 8 that boost his main skills. [martial King]  and [sword King] along with 

[immortality] are at max level. and [Master of few] boostis 8 level + to put that into perspective it skills are at max level at level 10. right now jack is in a ex rank dungeon fighting the boss of the dungeon.

Jack p.o.v 

As the dragon charges up a [laser breath] i quickly appear infront of the dragon while slashing at the dragon throat

 with my sword [void sever] which is a katana that can sever all the dimensions easily as I do my sword easily ignores the dragon [unbreakable defense]

 skill while a cut appears on the dragon throat that makes the dragon skill [laser breath] malfunction immediately after the dragon gives 

a pain filled loud roar that was raspy like the dragon throat was burned from its skill "RAWWWR" but after the roar it swipes its massive claws

 at me as It does I hear a load bang as the dragon easily breaks the sound barrier and goes into hypersonic speeds after activating its [accelerate] skill 

it could have easily flatten me with its weight and speed but I just barely dodge .

 the shock wave and wind got me which ruptured my organs and made me fly but I immediately perform acrobatic feats and reorient myself while

 I was doing that I was back in top shape because of my [immortality] it's a passive skill that heals any injury i get no matter how bad and I come to a skidding halt as I stabbed my sword

 in the ground while that was happening the dragon was charging up a skill called [fire breath] but before it can do anything with the skill i rush at the dragon again this time 

activating one of my swords ability [3 dimensional slash] and a slice appears going all the way through the giant dragon neck the dragon head falls off its body but it's not

 dead yet i think while watching its [regenerate] skill at work it looks like tendrils slowly stitching themselves back together

 I immediately rush to the dragon and chop its body with so much precision  all thats left is cells and that seemed to kill it I think while looking at the 

notifications I've gotten [master of few (level up)] level 9 while normally that would make me happy yes normally but after my wife's death I felt so... numb

 like nothing matters besides revenge I think which immediately put me in a downward spiral of negative emotions mainly depression and  anger... anger 

at the evil goddess i think while a expression of righteous fury emerges on my face.
