Hmm right now it looks like alex is the underdog I think while humming "but... I would find it amusing if he won the tournament he probably won't be my apostle willingly so I could promise him something in return

 " after thinking about the reward ill give him i decided on something amusing.

Alex p.o.v 

I watch as Carl is doing his test it's a sprinting and obstacle test Carl has to keep up with the old man it looks comical while Carl is sprinting as fast as he could in his dress 

the old man looks like he's just walking but is going fast (20 mph) while im in awe at the superhuman feat of the old man im worried Carl won't pass.

 Right now where in a wooden area around the neighborhood im surprised by Carl perseverance and agility while wearing his dress I can't imagine I'll be able to do as good as Carl

 if I where to wear a dress while I was watching Carl. Carl thoughts where hehe MY ALEX is watching i have to pass this test without fail! Especially because he wants me to pass after thinking such thoughts carl seemed

 to speed up but the old man abruptly stops and Carl ran into the old man while almost falling backwards after running for 10 minutes Carl looks like he was trying not to pant while sweating but he stills smells like flowers 

for some reason even while sweating. The old man says while laughing "you pass young Man" even while walking 20 mph he doesn't look winded as he says that carl beams and whispers 

"i did it MY ALEX hehe" while I didn't hear it the old man did and looks at Carl like he said something weird but afterwards resumed what he was going to say 

"you pass the test you can come to the old spot we met next week at 1 pm" confused by why he said next week
I ask

 "old man why next week and weren't you going to tell me about the Supernatural world?"but he just said "you'll find out later and the reason is because where running out of time haha"

 while he says so I immediately connect the dots and dread the future. I completely forgot about what my family will say about me skipping school 

while this is my first time im nervous what they'll do as I'm contemplating the future the old man disappeared while I wasn't noticing. Im slowly walking home nervous while I am I 

strike up a conservation with Carl "hey Carl im happy you passed the test we'll be able learn the ancient Supernatural arts " and Carl says

 "yeah!" Happily while his thoughts where I get to spend more time with MY ALEX hehe. confused why he's happy I ask "say... aren't you nervous of what your family will say about you skipping school?" 

But Carl says "no i get to spend more time with you!" While he says that I think it was because of use being friends and nothing else ... if only I could warn myself. 

As I get home I dread going inside but know I must while thinking so I sigh and enter inside as I do I hear a masculine voice say 

" uhhem Alex Miller come here Young man!" I quickly come over to my mother "so... I for some reason got a phone call from your school saying you weren't in attendance at school after lunch i will not tolerate the skipping of school young man!"

 While she says that I just sigh and lament how much I hate the accursed goddess for making me reincarnate and go through middle school again fuck you accursed goddess... .

 Then my mother continues giving me her infamous lecture "...and your grounded for a week ill let you off lightly this time because it's your first time but don't think it'll be this light next time"

 the old man knew this would happen huh while thinking such I say "yes mother" defeated .while she explains how I have early bed time with no electronics and such 

as I was about to walk away my mother says "and before I forget what where you doing while skipping school?" Knowing that she'll extend my punishment I quickly say 

"I was out with my friend Carl having fun around the woods" while I mix half truth and half lies with my acting skills while she's still suspicious she decided to trust me and says

 "just don't go skipping school okay?".and I say "yes mother" while this was happening my sister was watching this scene with a dangerous expression her 

thoughts that damn bitch so I was right that he was doing something with alex and he gotten alex in trouble while she was plotting on something to do to Carl. 

Carl was busy getting praise from his father.

Carl p.o.v 

As I got home I can't help but think score! I get to spend more time with MY ALEX  hehe and I excitedly tell my father what happened today and my father has a proud look 

while my mother is watching this scene with a tender smile while remembering Eric back when he was younger she remembers how Eric would threaten the other boys to leave her alone...

 such experience moved her heart she thinks while hoping for the ship to sale for her son.
