"Great! Maybe we can quiz each other afterward ?" he told me

It's the first test ,and it's probably not a big deal .On the other hand ,even if it was a big deal .Nicholes probably want to use magic more practically rather than studying all day .

The room is slightly too small for all the anxious freshmen clustering to it .From the whispers I overhear ,it seems that no one knows what the test is going to cover ,only that it takes place tomorrow .

Soon Professor Gabriel enters the room with swinging the door loudly and follows the noblewoman ettique and walking with a grace and yet making a scornful face in her face .

It seems like she hates her profession very much .

"open your notebooks ,if you have them .This is not a quiz .This is for your own benefit .If you do not know the answer ,look it up or ask someone "She said smirking

What kind of logic is that but who cares .

I Think she hates her more than me . Of course I spoiled her reputation But Professor Gabriel is spoiling her even more

"Mr arias.If I wished to cast a spell to make a beast's fur fall out ,what colour of magic would I use " She said pointing out to a nekomata .

So arias is a nekomata huh .Good to know . But I prefer animalistic version of cats over humanised version .

I keep forgetting that .

She continues in the vein ,putting individual students on the spot to answer questions about the applications of each colour of magic .

While she was asking .She has asked some difficult questions which can't be answered and humiliating Layla in front of the whole class.

Who needs bullies when you have professors like that . But anyway even if she did answer correctly she took some merits away from layla for responding fast or not considering fast .

I think no matter how she answers ,Professor Gabriel will take some points from her .

Suddenly,her voice cuts off in the middle of sentences .

"Miss Layla jones "Professor Gabriel targeted layla once again

"Y-Yes madam ?"She replied in fear

"As you do not appear to have need of these revisions ,you are excused .You may find more challenging material to occupy you this Saturday on detention " She said scowling

"Yes madam "She said

She leaves the room .What was that about ?.I didn't see her do anything but it's too crowded in here to be sure .

I hope all the revision is worth it .It's wearing me out .

<Saturday morning-dorm room >

I awoke by a knock on my dorm .

Looking around the room , I noticed that Nicholes hasn't stirred at al .Eric's awake ,but he shakes his head frantically when i meet his eyes . I guess it's up to me to answer that .

I pull on to my robe to see who it is ,

The door opened revealing professor pom Standing at the door greeting me .

"Joyous morning to you , Akira " She said with energy.

"Hello " I replied with a yawn

"I came to deliver your exam schedules .This is a solo exam ,so each student has a separate timeslot .Report to the listed room at the indicated to receive further instructions ."Professor pom said

Further instructions at separate times ?This exam process is very unusual .

"I am afraid there is one thing "She said

"Due to Some students not being able to broaden their magical palette they will receive detention "She said

"How they are supposed to broaden their strengths .If they don't realise all their magical strengths .Only by attending the classes at least once ,they can't know that "She told to me

"I am afraid your friends were one of them "She said

I wouldn't call them friends ,you know

"Then I am afraid I have no choice to give them 10 demerits or place them in detention "She said with a sad smile

So this is the thing Emily was talking about .The whole school wasn't fair .They still do many things like giving out false information and asking the questions we are not supposed to know .

"You also may receive some depending on your exam performance "She said .

"Please consider your choices carefully .I can't protect you from the consequences of your actions ."she said with a weakened smile

"Best of luck ,then .Remember focus on your strengths and make them shine "She told me

How hypocritical of her to say that

She waves and goes on her way .

<At the exam centre >

The instructions said to be at this room at this time .The door is closed and I can't see inside .Someone else be in there taking their test .

Well, too bad , I don't want to penalised for being late.

I rap quiety and firmly on the door ..

...and the world starts to go surreal ..

<Test-1>

And I was transported into a cave like dungeon .

The dungeon is a single room .Filled with dirty bricks and barely any light in them .Well it is visible to me but I can't see anything .

Let's use blue magic to light the surrounding .With blue magic I changed the surroundings to be more visible to my naked eye .

"What happened where am I " I said

There is no where to go .

I feel like I am trapped in a single room .The more I realised it the more this feels like a 'white room'

Although it's a cruel experience , I composed myself

No matter what a clasuterphobic and a timid person will commit suicide , not being able to stay in this room any longer .

It would really suck for me to stay here any longer .

"You are in dungeon level one , Layout five-B"A voice told me

"What?Who said that ?"I asked the voice .

"The exit from this dungeon lies beyond the wall in front of you .There are no doors in your room . You must use magic in order to escape.Good luck "The voice said

"You didn't specify which magic I should use " I asked the voice

...No one answers

This must be the mysterious test that no one would tell us about .

What happens if someone fails ?Are they stuck down here forever bricked up like cask of amontillado ?Surely even professor gabriel wouldn't be that cruel .

Strange it's tough to know who is saying that to me judging by the voice .

So what magic i have to use .Well i have only good choice .

Blue magic ..

I can use black magic or red magic but i am not yet strong in them plus

Black magic i need to rearrange the hexes .I don't know whether this place is hexed or not .

And about red magic .If i use that , it will give me brute image .

That's a no no .Akira is cute not a brute .

Plus i only destroy the things when i want to destroy .

The wall looks so cute to destroy it .

Well coming to the point

Blue magic changes and moves things .

That's probably how i ended in this room to begin with .Someone used magic on me to teleport me ,so it must be possible for me to do same thing backwards .

I have read that transporting themselves is more advanced and hard for first years .but who cares .

I will do it the hard and unique way.

Let's do it .

Here goes nothing ..

It's working like i though .Akira finally learned to teleport himself .

Soon i teleported myself .....

...Unfortunately i was in the air , and i can see my house and Mr pigeon is flying towards me

Suddenly i was falling on the ground at high speeds .

Quick .akria .think .

I somehow managed to reduce my body weight but it still did stop the acceleration but it didn't reduce the velocity .

I managed to increase the air resistance at the bottom to reduce the speed of my falling . I can only reduce my damage .Oww .

I fell on my butt .It hurt .Akira is now retired hurt .

Professor Gabriel appears out of nowhere .

"Mister Ashford ! are you alright "Professor Gabriel told me with concern

Strange .She is actually concerned about someone .

"I think so "I told her .

I climb to my feet and dust myself off .Everything still works .

"i had not expected you to be capable of a full-body teleport at this stage .I should have given you better safety instruction "She told me with sadness in her tone .

"My apologies , Mr ashford " She told me an apology for the first time 

"Is everything alright " I told her

"yesh indeed .You have succeed with distinction .Ten merits to you ." She told me with a warm smile

"In future exams the dungeons will be warded to prevent exams by teleportation ,so do not expect to replicate your success so easily "She told me with a stern tone

Aww , give me back the concerned professor gabriel once again .
