3rd Pov

Nicholes and co escorted Akira to the infirmary.

They are worried about Akira's well being but they could do nothing at the present moment.

All they could do is pray that he will be fine .

Nicholes gathered everyone who attended the party at the living quarters to discuss what they should do.

"So we haven't discussed what happened last night right " Nicholes raised a point to discuss the party

"Yes, how should we explain to the teachers " Eric wondered

"just say we are parting and someone poisoned our drinks. " Emily replied to him casually

"But it's not poison , it's alcohol "Eric replied

Nicholes POV

"Beta-boy it doesn't matter what it is, just say someone sabotaged the party "Emily replied with a hasty smile.

Great now she is targeting Eric . But she doesn't seem to hate him as she does with lotus.

"But we have to point someone who could be the culprit " Louis exclaimed.

"We all know who it might be . It's none other than Lotus " Emily said glaring at lotus.

Not this again. Can't girls in this world be friendly with each other . The last time I checked they are all fighting for simple conflicts which can be settled calmly.No offense but all girls in this world are behaving like that.I wish I am born in the novel worlds I have read about.

Well, it's not the time for that . I don't want to discuss any more about bullshit

"Why is it Lotus"Eric said wondering

"She is a succubus .She can easily seduce Akira and put in a daze . Draining his life up to the point of Akira falling sick due to lack of mana and life force . "Emily said with a smirk on her face

Is she really doing it because she is a succubus or does she hate her as a fellow girl?

"Why do you hate Lotus that much Emily ?"I asked her out of curiosity .

"She is a goddamm succubus and you ask me why I don't like her .Her kind specializes in hunting men . It's ironic a boy like you are defending a succubus " Emily countered my argument

"Is it because you have fallen for her? Oh my boy Nicholes fell for a goddamn slut.Do your pants are getting hot every time you see her ~ " Emily mocked me

Every word of her makes me hate her more. Where is her decency? Forget about lotus. She is a jerk to everyone. Why did Akira even invite her?

"I am not t-taking a-advantage of A-Akira's kindness. " Lotus argued back .

"Yeah, that is making a lot of sense now.Completely believable "Emily replied sarcastically

"Emily .That is uncalled for "Eric said with a disapproving expression

What a drama queen.She does love to create dramas.

I think Lotus is ready to break completely at any moment now .This is really bad

"ENOUGH EMILY " I said in a loud voice aging everyone's attention

"I have not argued with you since you are a senior and I expected you to be a mature and responsible person but " I said continuing

"You have been abusing her ever since she was invited to the party.Why are you abusing her that much even though she had done nothing wrong?.I know she is a succubus but she did wrong for you to insult her that much " I said losing at all.

She is not going to stop if I didn't say anything . Thankfully I have expressed with facts and logic without insulting anyone .I hope the abuse stops .

"  'Nothing wrong ' you say. Even if she means no harm , it doesn't change the fact who she is . There are some people who won't change their nature that easily ." Emily said with a strong resolve

"She might break soon and start sucking Akira like the other succubus . Even if she tried to resist her succubus urges, She can't stop her succubus powers which can cripple Akira .Her mind can easily be influenced by lust compared to normal people ."Emily countered back

She makes fine points .I almost lost to the argument.If it were any other boy except Akira , I wouldn't have any counter argument .But Akira has a special trait which no one has

"Emily did you know that Akira is resistant to succubus's charm . " I replied to her

"W-What that's impossible . No man can resist a succubus ." Emily said refusing to believe the fact .

"I can prove that Akira is indeed resistant to a succubus " Eric said with a smug smile

So he knows to be smug too .Every day I see a new side of Eric .

"If she can't seduce Akira that means she is out of the culprit list .I don't know why I am defending a succubus " Louis said with a deadpan expression

Louis is a tsundere.And him defending a succubus is really a mystery to me.I mean he hated them.

"All B-Bullshit . I am sure you all are in her control "Emily complained back .

Before I could argue with her.I was interrupted by Lotus who screamed in rage

"DO YOU REALLY *Sob* THINK I AM BORN AS SUCCUBUS BY CHOICE."She screamed back

"I never *Sob* ever choose to be a s-succubus.In fact *Hic* I h-hate the very fact of having m-multiple partners. Akira is the first friend I ever had. No one even a-approached me at all ."She said

"It was all fun hanging with Akira and talking with him. I-I have f-fallen with him slowly by his childish, cheerful, and positive nature. He made me believe in t-true l-love. He is the only one who is k-kind enough to talk to me "She said with tearful eyes

"How can I *sob* kill the only person *hic* who is kind to me and *hic* only source of joy "She said letting it all out

"What are you ran-" Emily tried to interject Lotus

"Don't say like you are a nun and purist.You have taken advantage of many innocent young freshmen boys. You are not anything better than me "Lotus argued back

"WHAT DID YOU SAY BITCH "Emily said with an angry expression

"What I am saying that is you are as much of a slut I am. Maybe I am without any choice and my freewill but you have a choice and freedom of your own actions "Lotus defended herself

What I am seeing. Lotus is finally defending herself.

Akira you did wonders . You have completely changed a succubus into a romantic partner . You have changed the mind of a lust freak race. Only you can achieve this feat.

Without you, I am pretty sure she would commit suicide by the amount of harassment she gets. Maybe I shouldn't judge someone by their race . But I can't help but be protective over Akira

He, Louis, and Eric are friends and I can't imagine losing them to anyone.No matter how good they are .

Lotus has good intent but I don't think I can trust her completely. There is something off about the way she and Emily behaves.

They have two different personalities . One without Akira's presence and another with Akira's presence.

I don't think It's fairy tale love or they truly love him . The more I see them the more I realize that is a twisted form of love . As if love and jealousy have mixed together to form an unstable form of dependant complex. 

This doesn't look anything like love at all .It feels more like obsession over idols .

Well I won't let anything happen to my friends.

"Since that is settled .We will release Lotus from the culprit list .And let's talk about the party shall we .We have gone offtopic arguing needlessly harassing each other " I said ending Lotus and Emily argument

"So who are the suspects now " Louis stated

"Well does Louis have an alibi " Eric stated

"Louis is the first one that had fallen asleep.So I think he is unlikely the culprit " I stated

" So I guess Louis and Lotus were off right " Emily stated

"And Emily doesn't have an alibi"Lotus stated with a smug face

Her eyes are still red from crying.

"Everyone banter is allowed but not abuse .We don't abuse anyone here . " I said hoping it doesn't lead to any further arguments today .

Hopefully everyone will be more responsible from now on .

"You don't have anything to point your fingers at me .I neither planned the party nor I managed anything in the party " Emily said with a confident smile

"*sigh*I guess Emily is off the suspect list " I said

"So , Who is left " Lotus said .

After lotus said I had thought about the possibility who the culprit can be .But when I really connected everything happened in the party .Then I realized who might be the culprit.

But It really can't be him right .

"Eric , Nicholes " Emily stated.

*sigh* It will be a huge pain .Ah! shit here we go again .

A/N : Before we applaud how much loyal and fluffy Lotus is . We have to admire what Akira did .

Not just anyone can just hang out with a succubus after knowing her

Akira not only changes the way Lotus think but also he gave the courage enough to stand up on her .

Akira gave her the self courage she needs .So it's very much safe to say that it is a well written romance .

Someone can argue there is no real chemistry . But allow me to explain that relationships won't develop that quick .Well if they form that quick then it can also break very quick .

And about Emily's rant . Well you can easily guess why and Emily also fair points .She can easily form 'jerkass has a point ' trope .

If I show her perspective you can easily understand that she too is worried about Akira .

It's all the perspective which change the way people think .

It can make people think a nice guy as a villain and a bad guy as hero .

That's why '3rd pov'  'Akira's pov'  'Nicholes's pov ' are important to create .

A good story should focus on the side character's arc as much as the main character while following the main character's journey.A main needs his rivals afterall.

If I wrote everything about Akira then it will be nothing but a narcissistic fantasy. It should be properly written .With proper amounts of slice of life, magic , battles ,action,romance, comedy etc .

Everything will be good if it's written carefully.It's all about the way we express in the story .
