Sorry, readers.
Haven't updated in a bit.
I'm putting Volume 1 and 2 of HO onto Kindle Unlimited soon. That's part of the reason why I'll be deleting it from here.
The other is the rampant piracy. There's scrapers on this site catching every chapter as soon as I upload it. They don't give me any traffic at all, and all they do is make it so that I might need to file several DMCAs before attempting to go KU.
You can still read the series at royalroad.com (it's up to 16.6 now), but I'm done getting my fic stolen. It's coming off Scribblehub. Sorry everyone.

Does RR have some sort of protection against bots doing that? Or is it just less popular so nobody tries?
(Planning to start actually posting stuff I write and I was leaning towards scribblehub not rr because it doesn't have any of the dumb stuff that annoyed me about RR, plus it it's tags and searches work better. Although all of that's on the reader end so IDK how it is for authors, aside from lacking some pretty important tags related to LGBT topics.)
RR is bigger but has fewer bots that scrape it. I write on RR primarily because there's more readers there.
@Slifer274 That is one heck of an interesting contradiction, I wonder how that came about.
Also gods guess I'm gonna have to try and nag RR into adding proper queer tags lol
@Elvenoob I really do wish they would, but I have direct lines to the people who run RR and they seem pretty set on not adding tags >.>
Sad to hear that you are leaving It is a good story and I might check it out on RR tho I dislike the site for various reasons.
Anyway, good luck with the Kindle release
